They have delicious chicken schnitzel. Tip is choicable. The inside is warm and good designed, big and spacious. Price is average. Service speed is not that good. We had to wait a long time dor a sauce and finally I got up and got it myself from kitchen.

A true paradise for coffee lovers! Not only do they roast their own beans, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The team is friendly, helpful, and always happy to share their knowledge. The owner is often around too, passionate about the craft and always happy to chat about coffee. The aroma is intoxicating 😍.

The man running this cafe/shop is maybe the nicest person I’ve met on my four month trip around Europe. Funnily enough it was on the last night also. What a guy! Coffee is amazing too thanks to his knowledge :)

I have been buying my coffee beans from Alt Wien for over a year now, and it never disappoints. I purchase beans for my mocha pot, AeroPress, and French press. I tend to prefer an Italian-style roast for my mocha pot, and they offer a good variety with various blends of Arabica and Robusta. They have various roasting styles, and their passion for coffee is evident. I occasionally stop for a cup of coffee at their small coffee area, and they consistently make excellent cups of coffee. Hands down, my favorite place to buy coffee beans in Vienna. They have an online delivery option too, which is very fast.

They have some very good coffee, e.g. Arabica gewaschen espresso ones (Indonesia, Columbia, used to have nice Bolivia...), some very acidic sorts and some super strong ones (over-roasted). The ones in the metal cylinders just behind the counter are super strong and if you drink those daily it's going to affect you strongly. My observation is that they mostly sell these ones as these are the cheapest ones. The ones in glass cylinders are more sophisticated and cost more. I tried several of those, but wasn't impressed. I found the ones on the left side shelves the best, but these are the most expensive and some are also very acidic. These are all small beans sorts and pale brown colour with nice but mild smell and taste.

Well the best coffee in town I guess. Very professional coffee makers and the beans, machine and service are high scale. If you are a coffee fan you must go. Very reasonable prices and you can purchase high quality beans.

We have visited this place today for a coffee and deserts, had to wait for about an hour just to pay the bill because the waiter has completely ignored our table. I didn't want to tip because of that experience. When we have finally got the waiter's attention, he mentioned right away that recommended tip is 10%, I entered 0, then the waiter CANCELED the transaction on the terminal and REPEATED his speech about 10%, so I had to tip 10% just to avoid an open confrontation. The worst experience in Vienna so far. The coffee and deserts were nice though.

Yelp
Best espresso I have had in Vienna! Good selection of beans and roasted really well. Plus, greatly appreciate the bar area and limited seating. Makes an introvert, like myself, very happy and comfortable.
