Everything about Altamar is five star! If you are on the fence about booking, consider this your sign to do it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for our entire stay. The house is absolutely stunning and beautifully designed to take in the gorgeous views. The beach was pristine and even though all beaches in Anguilla are public, it felt like a private beach. Dining was an absolute highlight! We had a chef cook for us most nights and we were blown away every single time. But what truly stood out was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, always anticipating our needs before we even asked. Altamar is the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and top-notch service. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return.

Altamer was an unforgettable experience. If you want to feel like a celebrity I would definitely stay at Altamer! I went with family and we got upgraded to the Antilles Pearl villa, which had five bedrooms (four rooms plus a master bedroom). We had butler service and housekeeper the entire stay plus breakfast every morning. The private pool was very relaxing and being able to walk up to the ocean was also a nice perk. We went right before the off season so it was quiet on the island and many shops and restaurants were closed, but we still managed to have a great time. I would recommend checking out the Anguilla Arch and spending time at Shoal Bay where the water is crystal clear. I would also recommend getting a car rental since prices on the island can be expensive.

If you want the perfect place for a family or large group of friends you could not do better than Altamer. The blue diamond villa is spectacular and the staff beyond great. The view can’t be beat. The villa is equivalent with everything you could want. The staff is friendly, professional and quickly become like family. It’s also well situated on the wonderful Island of Anguilla. Near great restaurants and beaches. Can’t wait to return.

My family has visited Altamer a few times, and it always delivers on it's promise of providing luxurious hospitality in paradise. ||The setting at the tip of Anguilla is breathtaking and serene. The architecture and decor of both villas, Blue Diamond and Antilles Pearl ,are gorgeous, offering expansive gathering spaces and perfectly appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. ||We are so appreciative for the great care provided by the staff under the extraordinary professional direction of Moira Masshardt. Moira is a native Anguillian and guides guests to the best the island has to offer. (Yes, the Napoletana Pizza at Artisan is worth the drive!)||Last, but far from least, the cuisine served by Chef Sweets and his dedicated kitchen staff never cease to amaze. ||I recently learned that the owner of Altamer purchases carbon footprint offsets equal to guests energy usage and that after Hurrican Irma kept the.staff on payroll through the years long rebuild that decimated the compound - reason alone to to choose this piece of paradise. ||Thank you, all, for a magical week!

I had an incredible birthday vacation with my friend family at Antilles Pearl, part of the Altamer Villa resort. The property is breathtaking. All the bedrooms and entertaining spaces have sea views as it is located on a gorgeous beach. The large heated pool has loads of comfy loungers and we loved the way the deck met the sand for a seamless pool/beach experience. All this was amazing but very BEST thing about the property was the team who looked after you. Headed up by the charming Preston and the two Butlers Lavon and Perry who were absolutely amazing. They looked after us so well. Friendly but incredibly discreet - always there when you needed them but never on top of you. We loved our family breakfast times in particular - the most relaxing way to start the day. Also the way that beautifully set tables and five star service would miraculously 'appear' around meal times or when you needed a well mixed cocktail by the pool! We had a few parties and invited friends over and the house just absorbed them effortlessly . We loved having the gym, tennis courts and the games room at our disposal - and honestly felt no need to leave the property while we were there. It's a friendly and relaxed place as well as being very luxurious. I am planning a return trip in May and can not wait to go back!

Anguilla is our special place, and Altamer is the best of Anguilla. Being surrounded by its stunning architecture, fine art and lovely appointments is at once serene and dramatic. Having the privacy of a villa and service which is the equal of the best hotel, but more personal, is perfection. Our family appreciated meticulous care from Moira, the ultimate majordomo. She pulled rabbits out of hats over and over again - from special introductions at island restaurants to finding a boat for a surprise engagement event on an hour's notice. The chef is astonishing - each meal surpassed the last. The sushi! The desserts! The lamb chops! Our stay was wonderful in every respect. Thank you!

My family just returned from a nine day stay in Anguilla. We usually stay at Cuisinart (Aurora now), but decided to try a villa this time and WOW were we amazed! The Blue Diamond villa at Altamer resort was absolute perfection. Aesthetically and architecturally STUNNING , spacious, and of course wrapped in Anguilla blue serenity! There was absolutely nothing lacking!|| || What really makes this a special experience was the staff. GM Moira Masshardt is an island gem. She grew up in Anguilla and is very in tune with why visitors find it so special. Logistically, she made everything easy like entry applications, testing, taking care of activities, reservations and any requests! I have never seen a more "can do" person! My son was wanting a fishing experience, but not a typical charter. She was able to arrange (in one day by the way) a special fishing adventure with a local fishing aficionado. She took us on a little tour of the West End of Anguilla. We have been going there for 15 years and had never seen The Arch or the untouched beaches she showed us. She shared with us fun anecdotes about her childhood and actually cracked open these rock- like sea animals, rinsed them in salt water and ate them just as she did as a child!! You do NOT get that service at the Four Seasons. ||||The staff at the Villa became our family! Perry, Levon, Judith, Janet and all of the other hard-working, lovely staff members made our visit the best we have ever had. They were attentive, helpful, and so lovely to get to know. They took tremendous pride in their work and it showed! We will be forever spoiled by their care!!!||||This was truly a wonderful experience. Staying at Altamer was a different level of luxury. We felt so grateful to be able to stay there and have this different Anguilla experience. We hope to return again and again...

My wife and I visited Antilles Pearl in April 2022 with 4 other couples. We had an awesome trip! I will try to write this review for those scanning reviews trying to make a decision on whether to book this house or not, because that's what I do.... The house, as you can see, is beautiful. It sits on a secluded stretch of beach. Even though all beaches in Anguilla are public, I don't think I saw another person walk in front of the house. There is a reef directly in front of the house that requires you to walk down the beach a bit to enter the water, but not a big deal at all and it provides good snorkeling. Each couple had their own room with king bed. If I had to give one piece of feedback, not negative, just a heads up... The four guest rooms are a little small, but you won't be in your room very much anyway. The principal/master suite is huge. That being said, our experience from start to finish was great! Ray was extremely helpful with the initial booking process, and assisted with some changes we had to make along the way! Moira helped us plan every detail of the trip, and was there to make sure everything was taken care of from the time we landed until the time we left. Lavon, Perry and the entire house staff are absolutely awesome!!! Beautiful, quiet, safe, and lots to do; if you get tired of lounging in the pool. You will need to rent a jeep to get around, but just call Rosie and she'll set you up. I highly recommend Antilles Pearl. Book it!
