Altamont Court Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica

Hotel is dated but were clean and have all basic necessities. Spent carnival weekend here and I'll say this hotel is walkable to lots of attractions. Jouvert practically circled my hotel. Staff is nice. Grounds are kept up. Gate guards are always present. Would definitely stay here again.

I've been coming since the 90s and it's my favorite hotel in Kingston. I feel like I'm in a garden paradise. It's simple but so nice. The free breakfast by the pool is probably my favorite. The rooms are fairly nice and the staff is friendly.

This is a good hotel, it includes breakfast which is good, there is a pool, bar& restaurant which closes at 9pm EST which is convenient, the location is secure and customer service is great but the rooms need a modern update. The bathroom in the room looks much more modern than the room itself.

service was good. I just had problems with the safe in my room, which wasn't locking... was there for 6 days, and they didn't fix it. I had to be walking around with my passport and valuable at all times, which was not good 😟

It was ok until breakfast they gave me a plate for a kid then when I said something about it the lady I guess a supervisor was very nasty I checked out the same day. when I say rude I mean rude I had to go... I looked into a kids plate it was 2 times my plate and i know he didn't pay his parents paid. Sad because I heard about this hotel motel from NYC 🗽 SMDH she said she didn't care If I wrote a review so here we are.... now I'm across the street chilln....🫡🤐

Checked into this hotel the night before our flight. We arrived at 8pm tired and was greeted by a lovely receptionist. I cannot recall her name. She was very accommodating and friendly and told us we can eat at the in-house restaurant before it closes. We went and had the best curry goat I have had in a while. We also had chicken wings and fries which were delicious. We also had two nice cold beers. Well worth the trip and it’s close to the airport … 20 mins trip. The rooms were excellent nice and spacious and the shower very relaxing.

Very nice and affordable. Great staff. Very accommodating. Clean. Good food. Great kitchen staff. The pool is clean.

Today 2/7/24 I tried to book a one day stay with the Altamont Court Hotel, I checked the date three times before booking my stay and then press enter to book and the date was changed for 5 days, When I tried to cancel the reservation there's no cancel button, so I called my husband who lives in Jamaica to cancel the reservation and he was told that he has to cancel on line, He then called back and ask for them to change the date of the reservation and he was told he had to cancel on line first, knowing that there was nothing online to cancel. I then called from the U.S.A asking them to cancel my reservation and I was told that they don't see my reservation. I then explained to the lady. that I was going to stop my credit card and also write a review and that's when she told me my reservation his canceled. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL THEY ARE CROOKS!! MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING AND CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT! I was able to find a hotel that do not try to rip me off.
