Altamont Court Hotel

The best home away from home. Everyone is super nice and joyous. Made us feel like we are a family. Will always be my go to home while visiting Jamrock.

The worst hotel I've ever been to in my whole life. Upon arriving Wed April 16th 2025, we immediately wanted our money back just by the way the parking lot looked. Unfortunately, everywhere else was completely booked out and the booking was made through a 3rd party which was an additional complication. The hotel is dirty. The rooms need upgrading. The bathroom is filthy and I felt gross having to take a shower here. Additionally, there was no hot water and at breakfast I found an eggshell in my fried dumpling. The location is also not through best if you want to walk around town. Don't waste your money coming here. I only gave them 1 star because it can't be any lower.

I travel and spend lots of time in hotels across the world and this is the worst one I have experienced in years! The bathroom light did not work and after five days of complaining it was never fixed. They told me they would change my room but always the next day when the supervisor was in. That never happened either. No hot hot water they told me it was turned down because customers did not want to get burned. I killed countless roaches in the room. The wine in the restaurant had been open so long it turned to vinegar. Give yourself 30 minutes or more for breakfast if they open on time! It's in a terrible location full of homeless people and not safe! The gym was closed. Do not stay at this terrible hotel.

Apart from being located very close the heart of new kg, this place was a complete waste on money!!! the room was extremely hot and smelly, the face basin was DIRTY, we were told the pool closes at 10pm but when I went down at 7, there a sign there that it was closed and being treated. why isn’t that done during the hours where the pool is closed like every other hotel?? The fridge in the room did not work, there was literally an empty space with and sign and arrow where ice was suppose to be. The place is honestly completely run down and in need of renovation!!!

Stayed 3 nights April 27th, local breakfasts was good and room cleaned every day👍🏿👌🏾was in Kinston mainly to visite family. Manage to visit Bob Marley museum and Devon's House, had my favorite Icream😋❤️💚💛

The photos won’t do justice to the real feel which comes from an aged look. It feels like a 2 star hotel. Also there is limited food options. The rooms are old and bath rooms shower etc won’t make one feel good either. May be the price is in line with what was on offer As I subsequently stayed at Marriot Courtyard which costed 3 times. ($450)

This is a great place to relax and unwind after a hard days work. The food is great the services are great and the people are friendly and warm. This is where I spent my honeymoon and I do not regret it.

Room very comfortable, but the service sometimes looks like they don’t want to serve you. But in general is good, reception is always very kind e respectful.
