We visited with our baby and toddler, and everything was just perfect. They had all sorts of things to keep our little one entertained—busy boxes with toys, small table games, coloring pages and pencils. There was even a toilet seat reducer and, of course, a changing mat for the baby. It's clear that kids are more than welcome here. The children menu reflected this too. For us adults, it was also a wonderful experience. We sat on the rooftop terrace, which was beautifully decorated and had a great atmosphere. Small shoot-out to our lovely neighbours who included our toddler to their fun. The food was classic German—fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The wine was lovely, and the service was warm and friendly. When my husband was gone with our baby they noticed and asked if the dessert should be bought to him downstairs. A real gem for both young and old!

Nice atmosphere to dine. Not too much disturbance having a lot of people in the restaurant. Food was ok, service friendly and fast. Price and quality well balanced.

We were there for lunch on a hot sunny day. When i booked online, I did not see an option to indicate we'd prefer to eat outside. I should have called, because we had to eat inside eventually. The schnitzel we ordered were somewhat good, but we had to wait an hour for them to arrive. They did not warn us, and we had to beg twice to finally get some bread to feed our starving children in the meantime. I did not find this to be a kid friendly place. Last but not least, they do not seem to accept credit card...

Amazing setting with very good food! You just need to keep in mind that when you book the early slot you need to leave after 2 hours. For us the 2 hours were unfortunately a bit too short. So we could not enjoy dessert anymore. That was a pity

Having spent nearly a week in this town, this restaurant seems to be a popular place to go. Good service and your classic German dishes with some modern twists. A comfortable atmosphere, decent local wine choices and a surprisingly long basement with different dining rooms. Worth a quick tour by the owner.

The food was good (but almost no vegetables), friendly staff and also the place is very cosy. But when we wanted to order the dessert, it turned out the table was reserved for other guests and we had to leave. They should have told us beforehand.

Visiting for business and was taken here for dinner by a couple of locals. Just a couple of minutes from my hotel by the river. We had different meals, I went for the mixed salad and had the kalbs schnitzel as a main. Great atmosphere down in the cellars and we had a great time. Service was first rate, wine was good and food was good. Simple, nothing pretentious but safe and tasty! I would definitely go back.

We were driving up the Mosel looking for a family-friendly dinner spot - and we found one here. Fantastic service, excellent food and the kids were invited to color one of their coloring templates to receive a special surprise. Great ambiance, various seating options both inside and out. They have street-side tables outside, an upstairs and downstairs space inside, as well as a quaint courtyard. Service was prompt, extremely courteous and everyone (party of 10) loved their meal. Portions were more than generous but because everything was so tasty, there were no leftovers. Highly recommended.
