Alternative Coffee

UPDATED - 3 FEB 2017: Alternative Coffee is by far the best place in town to get good coffee. Lviv is known as a coffee city, but honestly most of the cafes in town produce garbage. This place and Svit Kavy are really the only cafes here which truly care about what they are doing, and the prices here simply blow Svit out of the water. Plus, this business supports social projects to help improve the neighborhood, such as painting walls. The location might not be on the square, but it's still in a really accessible place (right next to the tram stop between Doroshenko and Kopernika). If you care about the quality of your coffee and want to support a true local business, look no further.

Probably the best price to quality ratio in the whole wide coffee world. Decent choice of Ukrainian roasteries prepared in pretty much any method you could wish for, great staff and constant longing to come back 🤙

Nice coffee! My husband who like a more bitter roast, loved it, too. We had a macchiato and a cafe latte - very nice!

This is a spot where you can get coffee to go. But you can also enjoy sitting around the place.

A small coffee kiosk with stools and benches. Chemex, v60, Aeropress, siphon, and espresso machine all available here. This isnt a cafe where you would come to work on a laptop, but it could be a place to read a book, talk with friends or just people watch while enjoying a nice cup of joe.

Barista was very rude and had dirty hands. I couldn't finish my latte because it was too bitter

Overpriced, service could be much better and coffee drinks are just nothing specials. It was much better few years ago when opened.
