We travelled as a family. My spouse and I along with our adult son. Overall, we had an excellent stay at this hotel. |Location - slightly away from the main tourist area, but at the same time walkable to some of those places. Short walk to the metro station, and Av. da Liberdade. The only minor issue we had was, we did not find any good (according to us) restaurant nearby.||The room was spacious, especially considering we had a third adult. They had already arranged an extra bed in the 'living room' (yes, the room as a living room and a bedroom, and a small kitchenette.||The staff was very friend and courteous.||Breakfast was good - nice spread. ||Bathroom door could not be locked - was not an issue for us as family. But just mentioning it here in case it is important for anyone else.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the service exceeded all expectations. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was fast, professional, and incredibly welcoming. The customer service was top-notch — quick to respond and always helpful. The location is unbeatable, close to all major tourist attractions and surrounded by everything you need. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Lisbon. This hotel is truly exceptional!

Lovely place. Centrally located. Spacious closets. Kitchen is well equipped. Guest friendly staff. 4 stars (instead of 5) for room because the kitchen cabinets are a safety hazard when cooking or using kitchen sink - we must have hit our heads on the cabinets so many times.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Rooms are large enough for 3 adults. Had a living room, bedroom and a kitchenette. Staff was friendly. Breakfast spread was very good. Location is also fine - slightly away from the main tourist area, but walkable to Rossio etc. Short walk to the metro station, in that sense, location is not an issue - As with many places in Lisbon, the walking would involve some ups-and-downs and the place is not flat.

Everything was perfect! The most valuable thing about Portugal is its people! They are all amazing: helpful and heartfelt. The breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful, friendly and competent. Thank you all, the team. We had a wonderful holiday!

I recently spend three nights at this hotel in a studio room number 709. We were greeted warmly by the receptionists and given a map highlighting the local area and nearby attractions. The hotel was easy to access from the airport using the metro. It’s a short slightly uphill walk from Rato station where you pass a couple of supermarkets and restaurants before taking a right turn into the road where the hotel is located. The room was a decent size and included a kitchenette with a fridge, hob and crockery & glassware. The room had fantastic blackout curtains which ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I was given complimentary water daily and the room was maintained to a high standard. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as I was able to purchase supplies at the local supermarkets. Due to the location you are able to walk to most places within 30 minutes or so. Be prepared for the steepness of some roads and wear comfortable shoes with a good grip. The mosaic pavements can be quite challenging. I previously stayed in an area of Lisbon called Rossio, however I preferred this area and would come back again. The only reasons why I didn’t give this hotel 5 stars is because I felt there was a lack of easily accessible electrical sockets. I also kept smacking my forehead on the cupboard above the sink. I thought it was just a me problem but my friend stayed in the studio below (room 609) and had the same issue. Despite these minor issues I would still book this hotel again.

Very comfy hotel. A little bit out of the main action in all directions, so nice and quiet, but with just enough foot traffic, restaurants, and beautiful jacaranda lined streets to feel amongst things still. For those of us who like to explore by walking, it is easy to access the many different versions of Lisboa by foot. If walking is not your thing then Ubers and Tuk Tuks are in abundance and cheap for under 10 Euros to almost anywhere in Lisboa.

Our second stay at Altis Prime and happy that it was still excellent. We got a warm welcome on arrival and we’re also upgraded to a Club suite which was a nice surprise. The suite was gorgeous with a kitchen/living room, a large bedroom and a lovely bathroom with a tub and a loo that could be closed off. The room was very quiet and very comfortable with lots of wardrobe space. Location wise it was perfect for us - away from the main tourist areas but easy walking distance to everything. There are shops and restaurants close by and a mini market on the corner. We loved it and will always choose this apartment hotel when we visit Lisbon.
