Wow. What a remarkable classic Swabian restaurant. We were staying so close to here all week and didn't know this was here. And this tavern has been here for 500 years. Highly recommend.

We arrived 30 mins before closing time and they still let us in. The waiter was very great! Friendly and efficient.

The place was really nice and the food delicious. Here you can eat typical Bavarian food. The stuff was very nice and the waiter even start speaking English with me when he heard I spoke English and not German although my partner in the beginning was speaking only German with him. I was impressed because rarely I fall to waiters in Germany that are willing to speak English when they find out my partner is German. So big thanks for this. 😁

Good quality food. Unfriendly staff: they wanted us to pay cash by any means.. but after some complaints the POS came out magically!! Be careful!!

Service was good, food was also quite good. We ordered three dishes, two of them were amazing and the original Wiener Schnitzel was alright. There was room for improvement in the way it was prepared imho. Still, a good traditional restaurant and I would come back again.

Food is good, service nice. But outside depending on the wind, it smells like trash. It's 2025 and you never can pay by card. "Device not working" they keep saying...
