It’s an amazing place to stay, truly unique! The room is actually an apartment with big bathroom and toilet room, the bedroom has an amazing high soft bed and big sofa. Everything you need is already ready for you, especially I want to highlight the coffee machine with coffee capsules that made my mornings brighter and more energetic. The design is marvelous and breathtaking! Me and my friend got allergy, when we woke up after 1st night our eyelids were swollen and itchy, cannot be sure why it happened, but it got healed after we came home

The host was really friendly and made sure to greet us each day. The room was spacious and tidy. The breakfast in bed was quite small but really tasty. A good way to start the day. The location was great to get to other places and relatively quiet for an urban area - I had no trouble sleeping as a light sleeper

They sold off a portion of the hotel and the dining area went with it. The rooms now have complete kitchens but I then couldn't complain about the cook (myself), great location and the rooms are still quite nice. Been here before and will return. The kitchen is great for longer stays, everything you need considering the price of restaurants in Vienna this will save quite a bit.

The hotel is a great place to stay if you want to be close to city center. Mr. Panus is a sincere person and very helpful in any case. You will like his energy and positive attitude. Rooms are very clean, and has a highly useful compact kitchen with electric stove, microwave and fridge. The most important thing is, It's next to U6 line for easy connection, and walking distance to Westbahnhof and one of the great shopping street of Wien, Mariahilfer Straße. You won't get disappointed for a moment when you stayed here. Highly recommended to families with/without children, business or solo travellers.

It's great when you arrive at a hotel which exceeds you expectations! We had walked from the West Banhoff station and were unsure about the area but once the wonderful Mr Panus welcomed us and showed us around our apartment we realized we had discovered a gem. The bedroom was massive with an equally massive bed and mimimal noise from the side street on which the hotel is located. There was a kitchen area cleverly located in a cupboard arrangment where we could have prepared full meals if we had wanted and a table beside a window overlooking a courtyard garden which was very nice for breakfast. We assumed that we would have to sort out our own breakfast provisions but Panus had fresh produce every morning in a help yourself cabinet on the landing. The shower room and wc were spacious and clean with plenty of nice extras and throughout the apartment there were numerous paintings and artistic touchs to compliment the Viennese rooms. It was very hot, up to 35c in the city when we stayed but the air conditioning ensured a comfortable nights sleep. All round a fabulous place to stay in a fabulous city.

Spacious, clean, tastefully furnished rooms; central location two steps from the U-Bahn and the Tram; and a host who knows what hospitality is all about. Great value.

This is a family-owned hotel. As such, a family lives there and works there. If you want to make sure you get your, insert chain hotel name here, rewards points this hotel isn't for you. If you want a fantastic hotel, owned by a real-live innkeeper like things were 125 years ago, this is your place. |The rooms are gigantic and well-furnished with antique furniture. Furniture made from real wood. It's not a modern boutique. It's an antique boutique. That doesn't mean it's run down. The bathrooms are in great shape and you don't even have to go outside, like 125 years ago. In all seriousness, the owner maintains the property well and it shows.|The beds are comfortable and huge. The carpets are soft on the feet and welcoming and most rooms have a kitchenette.|The location is outstanding, just far enough outside the center so you don't need to spend a small fortune to stay there and then fight throngs of tourists to get back to your hotel at the end of a long day. It's right next to an U-Bahn stop and tram stop and you can be at the airport, several train stations and the center quickly and easily. ||So, the bad and these either are part of the charm or completely out of the owner's control:|Okay, the building is probably from the 1800s. For that age, it is in fantastic shape! However, soundproofing wasn't a thing back then. To me, this doesn't matter but it's worth noting. Let me be very clear, noise can get in but the rooms are NOT drafty at all.|There is an entire building being built next door at the time of this writing. There is nothing to be done about it and the noise will go away in time but for now, you will probably hear workers working at 8:00 a.m. on a weekday.|There is no lift. It would ruin the charm of the building anyway. Take the stairs, it's good for you.|That's it really.||The owner really does have a personal touch. I try to stay there whenever I stay in Vienna and he doesn't always have a room. However, he keeps meticulous records and was happy to welcome me back after not being able to stay there for seven years.||I suppose the biggest pro tip I would give is to book with the owner directly. You can reach him on Facebook Messenger and he is very responsive. Don't pay some giant site extra money just to do what you can do yourself. The hotel takes cards, the building is antique not the owner :) It's a local business. A family business. Support it by going directly through the owner. You'll probably save a few Euros in the process.
