Visiting Alvar Aalto’s house was an unforgettable experience. The tour was incredibly well done, our guide Eeva was knowledgeable, engaging, and really brought Aalto’s story and vision to life. Every detail of the house was fascinating, from the clever design solutions to the warmth and intimacy of the space. If you’re in Helsinki, this is an absolute must-visit. I had the best time and would recommend it to anyone interested in design, architecture, or just a unique cultural experience. (I suggest you buy the tickets in advance and wait in front of the house, they invite you in just a few minutes before the tour stars.)

book tickets in advance as they are quickly sold put especially during summertime. place is inspiring and stuff is very welcoming. recommend to visit, just one hour is overall time one can spend and it is plenty ✨

A must visit for people with interest in architecture or history regarding alvar aalto. The 30 minutes tour gives decent insights and the building can be inspiring to visit. Tours need to be booked beforehand (it is the only way to visit) and are available in english, finnish & Japanese. Not rating it 5 stars as the price of 32€ can be seen as excessive.

Hade a lovely guide showing us around this beautiful house. 30 min tour and then about 30 min of looking around on your own. Are you interested in Finnish design and architecture this is a great place to visit. The only negative thing is that I found it a bit expensive. We payed 64 euro / ca 700 kr for two adults on a Saturday afternoon.

Well-functional and elegant housing with a home studio bathed in natural light. Guided tour brings very insightful details on the design philosophies and stories behind the house and furnitures. Definitely a decent visit to know Alvar Aalto much better!

For architecture fans - great informative tour and plenty of time to enjoy the house on your own. Quite far out from the centre and little to do in the area other than visit the studio.

After 2 years living in Helsinki, we had to visit Aalto’s house! we were lucky enough to find 2 tickets last minute, but I’d say it’s better to book the visit in advance. The house is stunning and I loved the guided tour: it was informative and not too long, leaving some space to us visitors to look around and take pictures. Our tour guide was kind and prepared to answer all of our questions. Maybe the admission is a bit expensive, but overall our experience was super positive !!
