Like it had nice rooms and friendly service.

Room: very bad smell of paint. Very small window.very difficult for people with asthma. There were a lot of ants in the room Service: didn't put water in rooms , receptionist (a women) not nice at all, Only a receptionist named jefat was very nice . The hotel: no food,looks very depressing, pool is very cold.located in the middle of a very loud busy road Manager: doesn't reply to messages Price: not worth it

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and able to provide us with local information as well as taxi services. The rooms were very modern and extremely clean. The rainfall showers were appreciated as well as the modern toilets. The air conditioning was very powerful, which we also enjoyed. The location near the downtown area and the ADO/OCC/SUR bus terminal was also prime. Though this was a no-frills hotel, we fully enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Great location, clean most importantly, and kind friendly service. they provide coffee and has all the necessary. they have a mini-mart next door in case you forget anything. walkable distance to local restaurants and bars.easy access to taxi's.

This place has a great location If you don't have a car. Everything is within walking distance, grocery store, downtown,bus stops and bus station. It only a year old and still new. Clean and nice bathrooms with plenty of hot water. and A/C. OXXO(like a 7-11) is next door with good coffee, food and drinks. The service was awesome, the staff always had a solution to my needs. Good value for what you get.

When describing our stay and considering a rating for the am Hotel and Plaza, one needs to consider the context of both. So here it goes. We have traditionally visited the CanCun area of Mexico. Puerto Morelos specifically. 25 years ago PM was an idyllic little fishing village. Quaint. Friendly. Non commercial. Layed back. Exactly what we needed it to be. No more. Hence our venture into Huatulco. We are searching and lamenting for what PM used to be. The am Hotel Plaza is a welcome step towards that. It is located close to the airport and all amenities. Walking distance from anything you could need. The location can be a tad noisy from highway traffic but it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed our days slept well at night. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We had 2 queen size beds, a wall mounted tv. The closet is very small, but we made it work. The bed linens are fresh and clean. No sad or negative surprises. Don’t expect to find hair dryers, irons etc in your room, but everything we requested from the front desk was promptly supplied. The pool is small but adequate. We enjoyed it and the lounge chairs. The staff are beyond excellent and provide everything they can within the limitations of reason and the latitude management provides. English is not predominant. Remember,..this is a simpler part of Mexico, so come in with the expectation of simpler ways and you’ll be very happy. If you need bell hops, a huge pool, recreational activities and staff fluent in English,….perhaps you should be at an all-inclusive. So with the above considerations I give the am Hotel and Plaza 5 stars,….but one must understand this is not yet a 5 star community. I hope it never is. So 5 stars for a venue located in a 3 star part of Mexico.

It's a really good location. The hotel is nice. You cant beat the price, I paid $39USD and for people that are travelling via ADO its across the street. There is a convenient store on the first floor.

The hotel is not worth it at all, the rooms are small, smelly, without a window, full of road noise. I do not recommend to anyone
