I booked them via booking.com for my dad and it clearly mentioned “No Prepayment Needed” and free Cancellation until a week before the travel.
Few days after the booking, the hotel charged my credit card and would not respond to any messages or calls even via Booking.com customer service.
Took me weeks of following up to get my refund from booking.com while the hotel did not respond to any direct or indirect (via booking.com customer service) communication.
I ended up canceling it before the free cancellation deadline. No way I’m gonna entertain such fishy/scammy behavior.
EDIT: It was my own mistake for not checking reviews first. It is clear in the reviews and from their replies that they’re unprofessional, rude and scammy.
EDIT 2: On top of being unprofessional, they’re racist in their response while never denying the wrongdoing. Anyone booking the place please go through their responses on slightest of criticism.
