Am Ring Hotel

Can only review the room. We upgraded the room for only a small increase but definitely worth it. The room was lovely, massive and comfy bed, good and large shower. All very clean. No kettle, but we asked and they provided 😊 Great location, right on the town square.

Great location, staff is super friendly and helpful, very clean. Especially good if you like an authentic medieval style , the rooms are very large.

The location is magnificient. The room are confortable. The minus is (1) they are cleaing the room daily (that is ok for towels for eco savings, but trash bin should be emptied) (2) for rooms with window on internal doesn't allow to get plenty of fresh air,

This is a lovely restaurant in Sibiu old town square, the food is great and the staff are very friendly and quick service

Im at the hotel now and pretty disappointed! The hotel offers 5 parking spots only for all their guests, while it’s in the centre of the town square, it is very hard to access it with luggage as there is no place to stop the car and no where to park anywhere near it. The stuff seems to be friendly, the rooms are very small and the washrooms are not comfortable, value for money is poor as the place is pretty expensive compared to other places around.

Friendly staff, extremely helpful with the parking lot (in the main square cars are not allowed). Had a room with a view and it was great. Very nice and cozy hotel! Very large rooms and the view is amazing. If you want to go to see the Christmas Market that's the place to stay.

We had Room 103 which was a lovely large room with a huge comfortable bed and fantastic view of the Square. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable. We requested extra pillows and these were supplied within a few minutes of asking. The room had a mini fridge with water and soft drinks which were payable on check out. |The shower was large with plenty of hot water. |There is no kettle in the room which was the only thing we felt it lacked but managed without as we were out and about on the 3 nights we stayed. It was a perfect location especially as it was hot while we visited so it was good to be close to the old city centre. Breakfast was extra which we ate each morning at the Amber Caffe attached to the hotel for 45 lei. |On booking the hotel I contacted them to ask if they did airport transfers, which they did, so saved us a taxi or bus. The airport is only 10 minutes away. Sibiu is a beautiful city and it was good to be there during the theatre festival with lots of street entertainment.

We stayed in Hotel Am Ring 2 nights in august 2022 and it was a pleasant experience. ||||The first thing we saw when we entered the room was the view over Piața Sfatului. The room has large windows and you can enjoy the view from your bed. ||The rooms are clean, decorated in a classic style (furniture is a little too old). The hotel has an elevator.||||At the ground floor, in front of the hotel, they have a restaurant with a terrace where you can have a meal or only drink a coffee. The staff was friendly and nice. ||||Because the location if the hotel (in Piata Sfatului whitch has a pedestrian access) they don't have a parking spot. But you can find parking spots around the corner, at the public parking on the streets. Be carefull, you need to pay for the parking via sms. ||||||Overall, we had a really nice stay at Hotel Am Ring and we recommend it.
