Am Ring Hotel

The hotel is located right in the center of Sibiu, in Piața Mare. The conditions were good, and the mattress was excellent. The reception staff were very helpful. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, which was well equipped, though a bit dark. Unfortunately, the room didn’t have a view of the square, but was situated at the back. There was a major issue with parking. The hotel only has four spots—three were occupied by guests, and the fourth by someone from outside. We had to look for parking nearby, which was very difficult, so you’ll need a lot of patience. Although the experience was okay overall, I would choose a different hotel in the same area next time.

Can only review the room. We upgraded the room for only a small increase but definitely worth it. The room was lovely, massive and comfy bed, good and large shower. All very clean. No kettle, but we asked and they provided 😊 Great location, right on the town square.

We booked two rooms in this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. One of the rooms had no windows at all, and there was constant loud noise from the restaurant ventilation system until 11 p.m. The room was also dusty – especially the pictures hanging above the bed. For the second room, we booked a Deluxe with a baby crib for our child under 2 years old. Instead of a crib, the staff placed an inflatable mattress, which is completely unacceptable. The so-called Deluxe room only had one very small window facing directly into a wall of the next building (about 2 meters away). The shower cabins in both the standard and deluxe rooms were equally tiny, and the soundproofing was practically nonexistent. To make things worse, some of the windows opened into the corridor, letting in light and noise at night, making it difficult to sleep. This was our second and, unfortunately, last stay in this hotel. Definitely not recommended.

I don't understand how your lobby can be so beautiful and the rooms so disgusting. I mean, your guests stay in the rooms, not in the lobby... There is black mold in the shower, its door doesn't close so there's is water everywhere in the bathroom, the drain is clogged transforming the shower in a bathtub within minutes, the showerhead, which looked new, doesn't fit in the overhead support anymore, the bed mattress must be 100 years old and is hard as concrete, we can't connect to the WiFi because the signal is too weak (even your smart TV can't...), there is a glass door on the minibar so we get non stop light in the room at night... Seriously, even the caulking job on the bathroom sink screams "we don't care about our guests". It would take 5min to remove that cr** and do it again properly.

The location is magnificient. The room are confortable. The minus is (1) they are cleaing the room daily (that is ok for towels for eco savings, but trash bin should be emptied) (2) for rooms with window on internal doesn't allow to get plenty of fresh air,

Strongly recomend, one of the best values for your money i ever encountered, and i travel a lot, great location aswell

Very well located, in the heart of old town, with a big and nice terrace serving good food and various drinks.

Great location, staff is super friendly and helpful, very clean. Especially good if you like an authentic medieval style , the rooms are very large.
