Amaara Sky Hotel

Our stay at Amaara Sky Hotel was truly exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were not only beautiful but also spotless and thoughtfully designed. We were captivated by the breathtaking views and the peaceful, serene atmosphere that surrounded us!! Every aspect of our experience was fantastic. The staff displayed genuine hospitality, warmly attending to all our needs with care and professionalism. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway from the hustle and bustle of Colombo.

Amaara Sky Hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredibly delicious – every single dish was a treat! The service was also outstanding; the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. And the rooms, Impeccably clean! It's clear they take great pride in maintaining a high standard. Highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay in the penthouse at Amaara Sky Hotel was an absolute blast from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed. The food was nothing short of amazing. Every meal was a delightful culinary experience, showcasing excellent quality and variety. Beyond the delicious dining, the staff truly made our trip exceptional. They were super friendly, incredibly welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness created a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. As for the rooms and views, they were simply wonderful. The penthouse offered luxurious comfort and panoramic view was a spectacle itself.

We stayed this weekend at Amara Sky..It was more than we expected .The rooms are so spacious and the view was amazing.We enjoyed a lot and the staff made it like home.If I’m correct about the boy who was serving us Malindu was really friendly and gave us a good service . Though they don’t have buffet their meals were exceptional .

Stayed at Amaara Sky for 3 days. Food was excellent, there was a wide spread for Sri Lankan rice and curry, tasted so good and authentic. Western dishes too were amazing. All varieties of desserts were delicious.Presentation of food was beyond star class. Super location , breathtaking view on the hills and yet so close to the city. We had an exiting visit to the Bogambara prison too. Very comfortable, spacious and clean, rooms & bathrooms. |Staff were very courteous, obliging and attentive. |Thank you Amaara for your wonderful service and comfort which made our stay memorable. We are looking forward to visit again. Highly recommend Amaara for a great holiday.

We stayed at amaara sky hotel on 24th May 2025 on full board basis. They have Big clean nice rooms with outstanding 360 view balcony. That has an amazing view. Foods also very tasty and excellent. Also they have in room dining facilities. The most amazing thing was their service was excellent and very friendly. They were always there for our needs. Also thry have 100s of DVD facilities to watch us during stay. The experience in this hotel was felt like we were in home away from home...

Pros: Friendly n helpful staff. Nice nature view. Excellent wifi. Spacious room with balcony. Cons: Smelly bathroom. Old furniture n fittings. Lack of modern power points. Low water pressure for the shower. Noisy air con. Key hole door. Unmanned front desk at night. Located up on a hill.

The location is over the hill, it’s a little difficult to get a tuk tuk or car that is willingly to go up to the hotel from city Center, especially at night. From hotel to city Center is about 8 mins of tuk tuk ride. Otherwise the service is great, staff are really friendly, nice hilly view from the balcony, western style breakfast platter with pastries.
