Amabilis Hotel

My partner and I stayed 1 night while on a road trip. Staff friendly, room fantastic, spotless clean. Comfy bed and great shower, bathroom facilities. Mateo our waiter at the evening and next morning was fantastic. He spotted dolphins for us. Very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

If you need safety for your family, hotel Amabilis does not apply to this. I'ts scary to go near him, not to mention his visit. August 13, 2023, terrible incident in the parking lot of this hotel happened. An employee of the hotel parking Amabilis Hotel, an elderly man in the middle of the white day, attacked me and my family with a huge kitchen knife. I managed to close the doors in the car, and thank God, I remained alive with my three-year-old daughter. Only the car was injured. A hotel parking worker scratched the door of my car with a knife and pierced the wheel. Thank God we are alive and the wheel is replaced. The police arrived and said that you can go to court, but you will not prove anything. The hotel staff refused to help at the reception and just kicked us out of the hotel and from the parking area. They refused to call the police and they kicked us out to hide their employees' attack on us. Passers-by helped us call the police and helped with changing the wheel. There are a lot of witnesses to this besprilin, but a rich hotel can buy everyone and hide the traces of the attack. The reason for the attack is a stop in their parking lot for 5 minutes. My wife was driving and drove into one of the free spaces in this parking lot without prohibited signs. To transfer the older child with things to the coach very close to the sports camp "Hostel Karlovak". Her was gone for exactly 5 minutes, but the hotel employee of the Amabilis Hotel started to force me to leave the parking lot. I politely asked to wait a few minutes without disturbing anyone, as there were many empty spaces in the parking lot. But the employee started insulting me and pushing me on the eyes of my three-year-old daughter. I didn't use force, but in a rude voice asked me not to touch with my hands. After that, the man ran into the hotel restaurant and a few minutes later returned with a huge kitchen knife and began to poke the window with a knife and scratch the car door and cut the wheel. There were many witnesses to the incident, but no one called the police. I regret that I didn't immediately calm him down by force until he brought a knife.I just asked the hotel employee to stand in this parking lot for 5 minutes, as my wife moved away and she is the driver. I know how to drive a car and could leave even without documents, but on this line for many kilometers there's no free space re-park, and it is also impossible to turn on the emergency parking, as I would block a very narrow road and create an emergency. We are in Croatia for the first time, and we were upset by this situation. Maybe the hotel is beautiful and comfortable with 5 stars and the owner of the hotel just doesn't know that a mentally ill person works for him who can attack people with a kitchen knife, I don't know...

This was our second visit to the hotel and we were again delighted with our splendid suite, the good service and good cooking. ||With perfect weather i was able bathe in the sea and our view from our balcony gave us lots to see and enjoy. ||I can't fault the hotel but beg the management to keep up the high standard.

I was looking for a hotel to make a stop on my way back from Split to Nice (France). ||||I am in a wheelchair and travel on my own, so I needed to find a place that was wheelchair accessible, but I didn’t want to stay in one of those big impersonal resorts you can find everywhere in Croatia. ||||I found the Amabilis Hotel via Booking.com, and I definitely did not regret my choice! ||||The property is right in front of the sea, on the coast line and the beach, I mean literally! Inside the building, everything is white: the lobby, the restaurant / bar, and of course the room. ||||The room I took had everything I could expect: ||||- A breathtaking sea view from the balcony ||- A comfortable king-size bed ||- A large connected TV screen ||- A minibar ||- A coffee machines ||||When I arrived, the check in was fast, a ‘welcome fruit plate’ was brought to my room just 5 minutes after I arrived. ||||The restaurant is excellent and cheap considering the quality of the food, and the breakfast is very good (in particular their – somehow - local Urmashitsa cakes). ||||I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who was very helpful and made their utmost to provide me with the best possible experience and decided to extend a bit my stay for a second night. ||||I will certainly come back and stay in the hotel again next time I come to Croatia, and can encourage everyone to make a stop here!

Had booked the hotel for a single night - two rooms to fit our family. The rooms facing the ocean share a huge terrassen, but still with private areas - very cool. Very service-minded team - although we could have wished for better service by the ocean/sun beds. The hotel sits directly on the ocean with direct access to swimming in the ocean (swimming pool indoor).

This is a very nice hotel, location is great, staff is nice but 7 year after its been built you can see that they are not maintaining it as a 5 star hotel deserves. Power outlets hanging out of the wall, light in one of the stars on the the big sign is not working, shower on the hotel beach looks 30 years old, breakfast is not 5 stars level. It really is a shame because with just a bit of love hotel could be great.

Rude staff. Unfriendly environment in this hotel. Everything is too much for the staff and they do not like guests. Reception staff are more suited for a plastic surgery reception than a hotel. Break fast is terrible and over cooked old eggs awaits staff. ||Good location lovely setting but not a professional 5 star hotel. Staff need training and hotel lacks good chef. When asked if we can add chicken to Cesar salad we were told by waiter most of the time he is not in good mood and depends on his mood although we would pay extra. It turned out he was in bad mood and refused to add chicken. Overall very rude unfriendly staff that they prefer to chat amongst themselves than attending guests. Shame as hotel is nice but not professional.

We spend such an amazing time in Amabilis. The service is beyond imaginable, staff is very kind, professional and they try really hard to ensure guests' happiness and safisfaction. They have very personal attitude which makes you feel very welcome. The food is delicious. Private beach is peaceful and appropriate for small children. We will definetly come back soon.
