We’ve been regulars at Amadeus for a while, always coming back for their amazing pastries. But today I felt I had to leave a review because of the exceptional service from a new barista — an Asian girl (unfortunately I forgot to ask her name). 🙌🏻Her name is Ting !!! I asked today (Edit by 6/15) When she was handing me my croissant, I casually mentioned that I have a nut allergy and asked if it could be packed separately from my family's items. Without hesitation, she changed her gloves and carefully packed my pastry on its own. Then, while making my latte, I noticed she rinsed all the tools thoroughly and changed into a fresh pair of gloves before starting. These small details made me feel truly cared for. The shop was busy, but she still took the time to make sure everything was safe for me. It was honestly one of the best lattes I’ve ever had — not just for the taste, but for how thoughtfully it was made. Thank you for the kindness and attention. It meant a lot..

👎 I am really trying hard not to leave negative reviews and I barely do. When I saw lots of 4-5 stars I was in good mood. Went there with the family, order 6 items to try and coffee... one bite of each... and 6 of us could not finish non. JUST fancy and expensive... how can a coffee be like that?! How can the macaroon be tasteless... how can of the 6 items, none be delicious... how is this place in business? Did not like at all... would not recommend 😕 SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Don't tell me, I did not tell you so!

Beautiful bakery that caught my eye from the other side of the street as I was walking by. I thought, hmm let me check it out. From the outside, it looked nice. I walked in and found security by the door. Lots of seating. Space was neat. Ordering was a bit confusing as I wasn't sure if they take the order at the cash or at the display (as I was walking by the display to see what's available, someone asked how they can help). They have a wide variety of options, with a lot more sweet options than savoury but they did have quite a lot of items to choose from. Everything looked so good. I ended up settling for a feta and spinach pastry, as well as the pistachio and white chocolate babka. To my surprise, it wasn't too sweet. For the pastry however, I found that the filling was quite minimal and it could've been a lot more generous. Found the drink prices to be quite affordable. Quality of product was great. Beautiful space and aesthetics. A little on the pricier end for the cakes and treats but quality is there so makes sense. Was also confused about the animal policy in store as the sign outside said no live animals inside but there were dogs on leash inside.

Amazing, friendly, welcoming, and patient service!! There are so many delicious cakes and pastries to choose from! But the Amadeus cake is NEVER a disappointment and the perfect choice! Perfect place for the perfect graduation cake!! 🥳🤗🎉

My wife and I recently visited Amadeus Patisserie and enjoyed trying the Paris Brest and a lache pastry, along with a cup of matcha and a tea. The pastries were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Unfortunately, the drinks didn’t quite meet our expectations. We had originally wanted to order chocolate and mocha, but were told they were out of cocoa powder, which was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere of the patisserie is cozy with a good vibe, and we appreciate the high chairs by the windows, which made for a nice spot to sit and relax. The staff were quite friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant experience overall. Despite the drinks, we'd definitely come back for the pastries.

Google
Very nicely decorated each and every items. Even if all the cakes are bit pricey… but still they have maintained the quality of taste and presentation to make it worthy. A little pricing downward would allow people to have more frequent visits to the store.

Google
Amadeus Patisserie is one of the best pastry shops I’ve ever visited. They offer a wide variety of high-quality pastries, from delicate French-style cakes to rich, flavorful cookies and tarts. Their croissants are perfectly flaky, and their macarons are some of the best in the city. The coffee pairs well with their desserts, making it a great spot for an afternoon treat. The service is friendly and professional, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. Whether you’re looking for a special occasion cake or just a sweet indulgence, Amadeus Patisserie is definitely worth a visit!

This place was new for us and we tried it to celebrate my bday. First off the prices are lower compared to other patisseries. The sweets themselves are really good.

Yelp
My first impression of this bakery was how much empty space there is. My second thought: everything looked so pretty and tempting to eat. I picked up a variety of cream cakes to try, but unfortunately, they didn't travel well. The cream, which is mousse-like, made the cakes jiggly and unstable. By the time I brought them to the restaurant, they looked like they were melting, which was disappointing. That said, the cakes did taste good. They weren't overly sweet, which I appreciated, but they all had a similar texture, which felt a bit repetitive. With such an open space in the bakery, I wish they had tables and chairs to enjoy the cakes fresh on-site. Overall, the cakes are worth trying if you can eat them right away, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Yelp
Mainly come here for their macarons now as they have a large variety. It's nice that they have more locations across the GTA now too. Their cakes are pretty sweet and flavourful witchy favorite being the exotic one (mango + coconut). Their strawberry shortcake comes second. My friends enjoy their more chocolatey flavours. It is nice how they have the smaller personal sized cakes as well as a larger variant if you wish to order it for a larger group. More info on their website. Parking is easy as they are the main store in that strip mall, and inside it's a large enough space to enjoy their bakery and have a coffee in the peaceful environment. They have plenty of staff if you have any questions or need recommendations.

Yelp
First impression of this bakery, there's so much empty space. Second impression, everything looks pretty to eat. Got a bunch of cream cakes to try. Unfortunately they do not travel well. The cream is like mousse so they are jiggly. I think if they used cake collars that would solve the issue. By the time I brought them to the restaurant they looked to be melting, which was disappointing. They did taste good. They were not super sweet but they all had the same texture which was a bit boring. With such open space I wish they had some table and chairs to enjoy the cakes on the spot.

Yelp
Its cake is super delicious, and the store is also very considerate. I will always come here for cakes and I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I've previously received macaroons from here that were really tasty (though on the sweet side) so I wanted to give their cakes a try as they all looked so simple, yet visually appealing. I got in around 5:30pm and was surprised that their display case was still full. I was especially looking for a strawberry shortcake so I tried to call ahead to see if they still had any as it was so late and last minute, but their phone line leds to an automated message. My friend checked that it was still available on UberEats so I decided to give it a shot. On their website, you can order ahead, which is nice and easy but doesn't allow you to select same day pick up. The store itself was really spacious and clean, but I wish they had some signage or something to direct their consumers. They had baked goods and coffee on one side, and the cake (both whole and individuals) and marcaroons on the other with 2 separate registers. I found the strawberry shortcake itself underwhelming. It was too wet and a little sweet for my liking, and it felt like it was primilarily just whipped cream and barely any cake. I will probably only stick to their macaroons next time.

Yelp
Each item looks eye-catching but not "WOW". The taste is definitely above average but not "WOW". Not as sophisticated, but beautifully prepared. Reasonably priced. The cream they use is pleasantly light (not oil/butter heavy). I actually liked their cakes. Their presentation was French-inspired, but unlike many other overdoing "French (with Japanese) inspired" places these days (they $$$ a lot for their overdoing efforts), Amadeus' strong point is its simplicity. Each item had its own distinct flavor/message to communicate with those who eat it. I especially liked Temptation. It had layers of textures to enjoy (crispy/crunchy almond hazelnut crunch with light and fluffy cream) . I tried the highly reputed St Honore Wheel Croissant. But I found the caramel coating was a bit too thick, which not only made it very difficult to eat (gets messy!), but also prevented the caramel flavor from integrating into its base - croissant flavor. The croissant itself did not have enough buttery flavor that I personally desired. Walnut Babka (brioche) was a bit dry. Overall, I will come back for other cakes when I am in the area for sure. Looks like they update their menu with new line-up. I want to check them out regularly. Why not.

Yelp
Amazing cakes and lots of gluten free options is that's your thing. The cakes are truly 5/5 It's more of a grab and go location as opposed to a sit down place which is a shame as they have the space for it. Things that weren't that great: 1. They have 3 sections each with their own checkout: one for cakes, one for pastries, and another for coffee. If you want a cake and a coffee it's super confusing and inconvenient. 2. Don't bother calling. They don't answer their phones.

Yelp
One of the best if not the best pastry shop in Thornhill. Consistent and beautiful pastries for any occasion. The cakes here are as tasty as they look. Not overly expensive and there is typically a like to get an order in.

Yelp
I am quite conflicted on what to rate this place. I actually drove all the way from Mississauga to visit. I had high expectations based on the post I've seen on social media. Let's talk about the positives. The moment you enter the place you are welcomed by this heavenly looking pastries. The cakes are perfectly laid out and one would definitely love to have a slice or 2 of the cakes because they look beautifully delicious . Each pastries look divine. The place looks clean and lots of cakes, doughnuts, breads, and croissants to choose from. Parking was a nightmare when we got there. I am not sure if it was the timing of our visit but we had to wait to park. There was no decent seating area to actually enjoy a coffee and eat the pastries. I guess this place was meant to pick up and go type of a place. Ordering was confusing too. There were 2 cashiers on opposite sides and you need go pay first ( and they assume you know what you want) and then pick your stuff. Everyone seems to be in a rush and know what they wanted that I got overwhelmed. Being that it was my first time, I felt rush and couldn't enjoy the whole thing. It felt like I was being push to get what I want and leave. We end up just ordering 4 of the sufganyot or doughnuts. The doughnuts look so appetizing and beautiful but the taste was ordinary. It wasn't as special as I imagined it to be. Poo

Yelp
For this Thank You Thursday, I dedicate it to Amadeus Patisserie! One of my fav bakeries! They specialize in these mini cakes. Great to bring over to family and friends and really impress them. It also helps solve the problem of determining what flavour cake would be a hit with the group. You can get a box of 6 mini cakes for slightly less than the price of an entire full cake ($6-8~ per mini cake). Read my previous review on some flavour suggestions. Save tax if you purchase six items or more. Seating is limited though there is a counter with a few chairs. They recently extended their bakery store footprint in 2022. They now have more options like artisanal bread, pastries, croissants and more. I tried most the things and it's all consistently amazing. ***TIP*** If you're planning to be a returning customer, ask them to add your number to their loyalty program and get points, which equates to about 5% earnings once you hit certain spend thresholds. They don't promote this and not all their employees are familiar with it. I've dropped hundreds of dollars over the years and made special trips here, so I missed out. Don't be like me!

Yelp
We wanted to try the viral croissant but unfortunately, this location didn't have it. Instead we got the raspberry croissant, the escargot, and the apple pastry. They were all really good and we enjoyed each pastry. I really liked how the croissant had enough filling that it wasn't overpowering the croissant. The chocolate escargot wasn't overly sweet and had a good chocolate taste. The apple pastry was also nicely balanced. We also got to try the coffee and matcha latte which were both decent. The shop itself was bright and spacious but there weren't a lot of seating available. Service was fairly quick.

Yelp
If you like mouse-type cakes, you have to check out Amadeus. They've been around for a long time and they know how to whip up a good cake. The quality of their cakes is a level above the crap you get at most grocery chains. This is QUALITY and you pay a premium for quality. Expect to pay around $50 for a cake that'll feed 8-10 people. The berry tart depicted in the attached photos was absolutely delicious. Fresh strawberries mixed with delicious cream...mmm heavenly. If your dessert budget allows for it, I highly recommend this place. The quality of their cakes and tarts rivals Parisian patisseries and that's something very few patisseries in Toronto can claim.

Yelp
I have had a few of their pastries, an iced chai tea latte and a baguette. All of it tasted great. Though there are few things I noticed. First the place is spacious but they don't use it to add more tables and chairs. Why? Is it because they don't want customers to stay long? There are only 3 tables and not even enough chairs for that. I had to wait for 10 to 15 min until someone left. Second, some of the pastries don't seem to make sense to me. For instance the napoleon cake pastry. The layers in between are so hard that I had difficulties to split it into smaller pieces. When I did the whole thing was a mess. Another example is the tiramisu pastry. The outside is soft and the core is kinda hard/tough. When I reached the core it was again hard to split it or get a piece off of it. When I tried the whole thing stuck to the fork. I am not a pastry chef but I do know that some pastry chefs design their own pastries. I don't think some of the pastries Amadeus sells are thought through. For someone who pays attention to detail it is noticeable. The pastries still tasted good. Third point to mention are the prices. Many of the small pastries are nearly $10 each. The pieces are tiny and I think overpriced. Especially in times like these where so many things have become unaffordable and a luxury. Things that used to be standard.

Yelp
WOW. I rarely find myself in this area, so I'm so glad I happen to search for a bakery nearby while my bf was running an errand. Almost everything I ordered here was just so on point. Let's break it down. Raspberry croissant - I don't care too much for raspberry anything but this surprised me. First of all, the croissant is just beautiful but the filling was refreshing and tasty. The actual croissant, perfectly flakey and soft. Butter croissant - You need to eat this fresh, like right when you buy it from the bakery lol It hit right when I tried a few bites on the way home from purchasing it but it did not hit the same later that evening and defs not the next morning. The croissant was flakey and light and had all the layers. Quality croissant. Almond croissant - Is this a dupe for Nadege?! Soooo close. C'mon, we know Nadege reigns supreme in the almond croissant game. Amadeus' almond filling just needs to be a little sweeter. Other than that, it had the exact same texture as Nadege. The filling even makes the bottom of the croissant a little soggy, which makes for a great butter party in your mouth. DEFs getting this again. Also, the filling does NOT have that fake almond extract taste. Black sesame cookie - Yup. A winner. I loved this. It's very different. I've had black sesame flavoured things but never in a perfect chewy cookie. It was the right amount of black sesame. You get the full flavour but not overpowering. The cookie had the perfect outer crunch with chewy centre. That thickeness? On point. Pistachio cookie - This is probably the most meh out of all the products I got, but it was still good. Just didn't blow me away like the above mentioned. I feel like it wasn't pistachio-y enough? Like I was expecting a bit of a stronger flavour, the way the black sesame was so distinct. Anyways, still, texture was on point, just the way I like my cookies. Coming back fa sho! Also, I need to claim my free coffee that I didn't realize you get by checking in lol.

Daniel K.

Yelp
They have gotten stupid. They increased the prices and the pastries aren't as good as they used to be. They also removed all the seating in the store so there is no where to sit and enjoy a dessert after paying $10 for a tiny little nothing. They became too full of themselves.
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
amadeus cake is OG and tastes like chocolate heaven the workers are nice and it's fast. never have to call for pre-order cake just walk in. ambiance is quiet and there's a few seats inside.
google avatar

Rose B.

Yelp
I was thinking of knocking off one star for not being able to order on the phone and having to wait for 5 minutes for the recorded message to get to the point of it being entirely useless and that there's no way of contacting the store. No idea why it's even listed. Especially since there's no way to know what's currently in stock and the website isn't very helpful in this sense. BUT, if you actually get there, the food is absolutely divine. These are the best cakes and tarts and pastries I've ever had, and I do have a sweet tooth (or a giant fang). The staff is polite, the atmosphere if you want to just dine in and have a coffee/tea with your sweets of choice is awesome. Takeout is well packaged and everything is super pretty and super tasty.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Many pastry and cake to choose from and looks like a work of art. Super friendly staff. TIP; online cake pre orders are not necessary, they have plenty in stock for walk-ins.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Millefeuille is the go-to cake. Very easy to order online in advance to avoid disappointment. Looks like there were some renovations done and the bakery looks more spacious with more offerings and checkout terminals. Please reconsider your phone system. I initially had my order set for 2pm but needed it earlier instead. I wanted to call and confirm if it's possible but took a chance because no one picked up and voicemails weren't accepted (thankfully it was already ready when I arrived two hours earlier).

Yelp
Passing by this place every week and seeing how busy it was got me thinking why haven't I ever pick anything up yet? Luckily I came by to pick up my friend's birthday cake and decided to pick up a few pastries for myself as it was too tempting not to! The display case was filled with colorful and mouth drooling pastries ranging from the classic strawberry shortcake to eclairs and creme brulees. I picked up a box of 6 assorted pastries including a pistachio cake, creme brulee, their seasonal pumpkin tart, salted caramel, mango and a Ferrero Roche. These were delicious! My favorite was the pumpkin tart and pistachio cake. Since it's fall it's only right to get something pumpkin and it was a great choice. Love the tart, not too sweet and the pumpkin creme was nice and smooth and strong taste of pumpkin. The pistachio looks too pretty to eat and it was amazing!

Sophie T.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised!! There are soooo many cakes to choose from. Everything looked amazing and the place is so spacious and inviting. I settled on a mini Lemon Tart and the mini Sensation. Both were amazing, not overly sweet like I had feared. Definitely would come back for the full sized cake for the next celebratory occasion
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
We got the strawberry shortcake, pistachio prestige, creme brulee, and exotic. I did like the pistachio prestige because it was rich and the exotic because it had fresh mango. However, I found the cakes were on the sweeter side while I prefer less overpowering sweetness. I also bought a box of macarons for my friend and they have more traditional macaron flavours. Glad I got to try Amadeus Patisserie after waiting to try them for so long!

Yelp
I'm very into this Bakery. From the selection of pastries to the coffee bar, it's just a wonderful spot. I got their raspberry croissant and it was so good!! Also... their st Honore and chocolate at Honore are absolute stars. As is their lemon meringue! I normally love tiramisu but didn't quite enjoy theirs however that won't stop me from coming back to try an iced matcha and their chocolate croissant.

Yelp
I needed to pick up some dessert since I'm attending a gathering this evening and since I had heard so much about Amadeus and was in the area, I decided to spot by for the first time to pick something out. I was surprised to see on their signage that they will be indeed open on NEW YEAR'S DAY (tomorrow) from 9 am to 8 pm! First and foremost, the parking lot for this place is extremely small and cramped! It was extra hectic will the high traffic of people dropping in today (is it always this busy?) Getting out of our parking spot after the visit was the real mission. Stepping into the store, it's a cute little shop with a huge line up of people. However, you can immediately pick up on how efficient the staff are, as they're so swift in their movements - as someone from the like picks out a cake for purchase, one employee packs it while another employee immediately replaces the empty spot with another cake and it's appropriate signage. That's another thing too - I appreciate that the signs were all very clear, describing the pastry and it's price. They have quite the cake selection! There were a few cakes that caught my eye, between the hazelnut and pistachio flavors. I ended up opting for the "Exotic" which is said to be a combination of coconut and mango ($35) since it seemed fitting for the party of people that I'd be dining with tonight. I could overhear the staff saying that with the purchase of 6 small pastries, the purchase is tax-free. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that my cake was tax-free! Also, if you check-in on Yelp, you can get a free small coffee ($2 value) with the purchase of a croissant (and from a glance, they have cheese and chocolate croissants as well, price range ~$4). I didn't give these a try today, but just putting it out there. The overall process was smooth, about 5-10 minutes tops. During this time, there continued to be people coming in and out. Will have to update on the cake taste, flavor, and texture at a later time. Update: I was a little hesitant at first since the cake was gluten-free but it was such a hit at the gathering! Everyone absolutely loved the taste, texture, and uniqueness of the cake. Not too sweet, which was perfect. Both the mango and coconut flavors were very evident, neither overpowered the other. Will be returning for more!
google avatar

Calvin L.

Yelp
Great chocolate croissant with a nice flaky outside and just the right amount of chocolate filling. Place was very busy though.
google avatar

Yu X.

Yelp
I came here for dessert after dinner. I ordered the pistachio prestige and a coffee flavoured cake with hazelnut. The cakes here were pricy (about $7 for a small piece, $47 for an 8-inch). Although looking appealing, the pistachio cake tasted like some childhood snack with weird artificial flavour. The coffee cake tasted so sweet that I still felt thirsty hours after eating it and felt nausea from the sugar crush. Omg I bet you can only swallow it with bitter Chinese herbs. It made me not want any kinds of dessert for a while after eating here. The desserts provided in this shop were like a pile of sugar wrapped with really fancy dress. The two stars were given to the fancy dress part.
google avatar

Isabelle C.

Yelp
Delicious desserts. They even sell pastries and breads. There are sooooo many options to choose from but they are a bit pricey. Staff is also friendly.
google avatar

Victor H.

Yelp
I agree on the 4 star reviews across the board. This is my first time ordering a birthday cake here for my daughter. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and I must say it was delightful, the whipped cream was fluffy, the strawberries were fresh and overall the cake was not too sweet like other establishments. I also ordered a dozen macaroons and they were also a nice addition to my order. The macaroons were light and delicious. I will definitely be back again for my pastry fixing.
google avatar

Adrian C.

Yelp
If you love cake clap your hands because this place has all the cake you desire. Unlike some dessert places you'll be able to buy a variety of small cakes to try them all. Got to catch em' all. As a personal cake trainer I highly recommend the Pistachio cake and the Red Velvet cake. In particular, the pistachio cake is a fan favorite at Amadeus. Also the Mango cake is my third favorite cake. Snap, I have a couple sweet teeth. Before you leave don't forget to get a croissant as this place makes the #1 croissant in Toronto. - Yours Truly, Pokemon (Cake) Trainer, Ash Cake'em

Yelp
It's a great bakery if you're looking for French pastries. Their croissants are buttery and flaky. Their macaroons chewy and their cakes are beautiful and will impress guests. It's our go-to place when we need to bring something to a diner party or friends.
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Came in to pick up my macarons I won from IG contest! First impression: wow, this place looks very upscale, consistently busy with many staff serving customers. The variety of cakes they pump out looks all so mouthwatering! I picked up red velvet cake and it was tasty, not too sweet. I enjoyed the earl grey and blackcurrant macarons as well. I wish this place was closer to me as I would love to try the other cakes. Whenever I'm in the area I'll definitely stop by.

Yelp
This place is getting very popular and people travel from far to try it. Favs are the raspberry creme croissants and La Roche tart. The strawberry shortcake is amazing as well and a great large cake to order for parties. All the cakes look like artwork. Highly recommended.

Veronica I.

Yelp
I ordered two cakes: a Diplomat and Tiramisu from Amadeus for my birthday. I placed the order online three days before the event. Since was my first order online I wanted to do phone inquires but customer services by phone are inexistent. I had to send an email and thankfully I received answer. The cakes were horrible. The product shown on the website is different than the one picked up. Very low and cheap quality they are using. Very creamy and wasn't a fresh cream too and overly sweet. The birthday party was at a banquet hall and when the waitress brought the cake, I was ashamed how small and cheap it looked. Worst experience and very humiliating. And of course, my guests couldn't enjoy the cake and most of it was left in the plates. But the price is very high compared to one you buy from supermarket and the size is smaller. I have placed one star review on Amadeus Patisseries website on December 17, 2023 and after 10 days, on December 27, 2023 the review is still awaiting approval from the management to be published. I suppose they never will approve the review to be published. Very annoying experience and I am never going to order cakes from Amadeus Patisseries. I actually drove all the way from Etobicoke to pick up the order and sadly, I am unable to give a good review of the cakes I ordered.
google avatar

Vincent S.

Yelp
Its a classic macaroon flavor and texture here. I have a guilty pleasure of wanting it to be slightly chewy but that is not the right texture for a traditional dessert. This is true to French pastry The flavors are all well balanced and you can tell what it is before you finish your bite, which I appreciate

Richard L.

Yelp
I would give this patisserie higher, but there was a long hair in my birthday cake. This was about 3-4 years ago, so maybe they will not have hair anymore in the cake. However, even though the cake looks nice, it's so sweet. I wish they can reduce the sugar. I will not come back. I think slightly overrated.

Yelp
Reason for Visit: I was searching at a local bakery that opens a bit later as I get off work pretty late. Menu: Tried their mango, strawberry shortcake and pistachio cake. Their pistachio is what they are known for and when I showed up, it was obvious because it was the cake selling out the fastest. Absolutely delicious. Only thing is they are a bit small so really not meant to be shared. However, quality is great, you can tell they spend a lot of time into each one. I definitely liked their pistachio the most as I can't handle such sweet stuff anymore due to advancing age. Service: What stood out to me is as she was cashing me out, the cashier accidentally while packaging damaged the mango cake slightly. Not even a big deal TBH, I didn't even speak up, it was just another day to me. She quietly walked back to her cakes and got me a fresh one that was undamaged. I thought that was really professional especially since I didn't say anything. Overall: Prices are great. This is a great place to surprise your significant other with. Great pics of pastries for your Gram.

Yelp
Love this place and have been going for years, since about 2016. Their lemon tart is the bomb and what my family usually goes for (the full size one of course). Just tried some other small pastries for the first time the other day. The Red Velvet and Tiramisu was divine. The Creme Brûlée was a big letdown though.. bitter and the sugar on top was liquid not even torched. As for the macaroons, my fav was the Matcha but all were lovely. Yelp
Solid strawberry shortcake. You can't order it on Ubereats though and so we ordered through their website. Probably their best cake. Smaller than it looks in pics but still feeds a good amount of people. You can get it in different sizes as well. Very fresh and big strawberries!

Yelp
Probably some of the freshest and yummiest macaroons in the city! And I'm saying this after having kept them in my backpack on a rainy day for more than 10hrs. I bought a few flavours for my colleagues and figured id get a couple for myself. They have a variety of flavours to pick from. Anything from flower types of savoury such a hazelnut and earl gray. It's not just macaroons. There's cakes, pastries and a whole bunch of other sweets and coffee. My ultimate favourite.

Yelp
Worst service I have ever had. Ordered a birthday cake on the 13 of September for today. I called before leaving for the store at 8:30. They could not find my order. I said I wanted to speak to the supervisor. The girl on the phone came back 5 minutes later and said they found the order but didn't have the cake in their fridge and they would use a Black Forest Cake, which is what we wanted and add the birthday greeting and it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went there at 9:10. The girl behind the counter couldn't find it. I asked for the supervisor. She said she was sorry, they didn't have it, it would be there in 10 minutes. I took a different cake when it was specifically the Black Forest Cake which was the one my late mother used to get for us on our birthday that we wanted. I left with another cake. She then apologized at which point I told her her words meant nothing. BUY A CAKE ONINE FROM THIS PLACE but expect it won't be there and if it isn't they will give you lip service. I will never go here again. Horrible horrible service, put a negative spin on our birthday. Shame on them.

Yelp
I ordered a cake online for my Father's birthday. Everything went well and no problem at all. But if you wish to call them and confirm no one will pick up the phone. The design of the cakes here are minimalist and modern. I got an individual Cake to try because it looks so good and Instagram worthy. The taste was okay, but I don't see there are much flavors in the chocolate so I was a little bit disappointed. For the price, I don't think I will come again.

Yelp
Had 3 cakes: Pistachio Napoleon vanilla Chocolate laroche They were nothing special, but did not offend your palette either. Extremely forgettable. Would only recommend coming if you need to pick up something quick for a birthday and you're on a time crunch, but would never go out of my way or take a detour for this bakery.

Yelp
While I was visiting Canada I felt like a Princess. My Princess adventures were not complete without satisfying my soft spot for cute pastries. With the culinary influences from France, I definitely wanted cute French pastries to sweeten my trip. I found Amadeus Patisserie through Yelp and it was beyond what I was looking for in a pastry shop. Even the Toronto Star raves that Amadeus Patisserie is "the best pastry shop in Toronto." This quaint little patisserie was brightly lit with a decent amount of tables if you wished to enjoy your sweet treats here. They had coffee, macaroons, little cakes and of course big cakes too. My attention immediately gravitated towards their little cakes so I could try a little bit of everything. The variety they offered had unique flavor profiles and unlike the pastries I have commonly seen back in the LA-area. With the help of their friendly workers I narrows my selection down to 4 choices that were either flavors I loved or popular selections from their other customers. I ended up getting: - Strawberry Shortcake ($6.50 CAD) - A much fancier version of a strawberry shortcake. - Le Roche ($6.95 CAD) - Plays on the flavors profiles of the loved Ferrero Roche: chocolate, hazelnut and wafers in cake form. - Temptation ($6.50 CAD) - Delicious chocolate exterior with a creamy coffee mousse center. - Pavlova ($6.50 CAD) - My favorite and the most unique out of my selection. Meringue base with a raspberry center, lemon zest and cream topping. All of these desserts were beautifully and thoughtfully composed. Every aspect of the consistency and presentation was on point. Every bite was light, playful and tantalizing for my taste buds. My heart flutters in quite the whimsical beat while I reminisce these delightful goodies. I promise these desserts were just as delicious and graceful as they look. The culinary execution of these desserts are among the finest! My compliments to the pastry chef! I especially like how these French pastries were expressively sweet enough to be a dessert without being overly sweet. They pair well with a nice cup of tea or coffee. I had a sweet sweet trip to Toronto and Amadeus Patisserie really made my trip even sweeter. These desserts are worthy of royalty ;) I highly recommend Amadeus Patisserie if you find yourself lucky enough to be in the Toronto area.

Yelp
Very clean, pleasing place. The raspberry macaron was perfect. The perfect balance of sweet from the macaron shell, sour from the raspberries, and rich cream filling. The Chausson Pomme was amazing as well. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
Nice little Italian coffee bakery with tons of colorful and photo worthy dessert selections. Place is extremely busy so expect wait times if you plan to sit down and enjoy it. Menu selection includes variety of full sized or sliced cakes, macarons, cupcakes and many more treats. There's also plenty hot and cold beverages to help wash down all that sugar. Given the nice presentation of treats, prices were on the high end but taste was worth it. Not an every day visit but definitely worth a stop whenever you have a sweet tooth.

Yelp
Great bakery! Love their pistachio cake, all their cakes are nice & light & the fruits are fresh. Service was excellent on the phone & in person. Will be back!
