A swish LOOKING, ideally placed, central, and reasonably priced hotel, but upon arrival the dining room/bar were in darkness and obviously not open for business in the early afternoon. ||The receptionist was a friendly and helpful chap.||The parking was very secure for our three motorcycles and accessed via a vehicle lift at the rear of the hotel.||My room (single) was of ample size, well furnished and clean. ||The bathroom was also clean and well appointed.||The bar in the evening was still in darkness and did not appear open for business. A visit to what may be a sister hotel around the corner, "The Mozart" refused to serve us ushering us brusquely away at 11pm when we took seats at a table.||In the morning it became apparent that the Amadeus receptionist previously mentioned, was also responsible for providing what appeared to be very limited fayre for breakfast and as a result was having to rush about to see to guests at the reception desk.||Whilst the fabric of the hotel was excellent the, certain aspects of the hotel management ethos could not be described as such, certainly not what I recognise as 4*. The hotel appeared to be run by the very hard work of the minimal staff. (One on duty receptionist and two cleaners)
