Amagatay Menorca

Amagatay Menorca is a true hidden gem. The hotel is a calm oasis nestled in greenery, offering pure relaxation from the very first moment. The design of both the hotel and the rooms is beautiful, thoughtfully preserving many original features of the old farmhouse, which adds a lot of charm and character. The staff were incredibly friendly, always available, and very helpful with any questions or requests. The restaurant serves delicious food, and while the breakfast buffet could offer a bit more variety, the option to order from the à la carte menu was a great touch. I felt completely at ease during my stay and started to relax from day one. I would return again in a heartbeat – highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in style and serenity.

We had the MOST wonderful relaxing and special time at Amagatay, which is quite the haven. We were very, very sad at leaving following our 6 night stay, but do plan to return. The estate is idyllic and as a gardener I very much appreciated the impressive planting which was a marvellous attracter of butterflies! We chose a garden room with personal outside space and we were delighted every time we walked along our own garden path. We were even visited by a tortoise. Everything about Amagatay promotes comfort and easy going service. From Enrique the Manager, Americo the Concierge and waiters Marina and Diego (to name but a few) the staff were all delightful and charming. Their ethos is that you are there to have a super time and they make sure you do! The breakfast was a pleasure every morning and worth rising for ... but there was no rush, we sometimes found ourselves still there at nearly lunchtime. Their food was excellent across the board and our two evenings in the garden restaurant were both delicious and memorable. We also spent one evening in their fairly new 'Grill' set within their kitchen garden ... a unique treat.

Amagatay you were the most luxurious breath of fresh air! I hosted a retreat at the hotel for 10 guests, I cannot speak more highly of the hotel, it is one of the most tranquil settings I have been to. The staff go above and beyond, you can see and feel how passionate and proud they are, nothing was ever too much trouble, it was noted by all my guests. The rooms are just delightful, beds extremely comfortable, products are divine, the decor all in keeping with their slow, calm pace, you can't help but relax as soon as you arrive. We loved the little buggy to pick us up and I'm missing the exquisite bird song every morning! I haven't even mentioned the food, creative, delicious and farm to table was the icing on the cake. I would absolutely return, thank you Amagatay for everything....

We had such a great lunch here. The tasting menu for 75 € completely exceeded expectations — everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were really generous for a tasting menu. You definitely don’t leave hungry. The drinks were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Small gestures made a big impression — they even brought an extra chair just so our tote bag wouldn’t have to sit on the ground. That kind of thoughtful service really sticks with you. Also worth mentioning: the toilets were spotless and stocked with individual cotton hand towels, which just added to the overall sense of quality and attention to detail. If you’re on Menorca and looking for a relaxed yet refined lunch spot in a beautiful setting, this place is absolutely worth it.

I cannot wait to come back! The photos don't do justice. When you get there, the ambiance just hit you in a really good way! The smell of olives, the sound of birds chirping, and the views are just breathtakingly beautiful. I love where it's located which is in the center of the island in the countryside but onky 15 - 20 mins away from Mahon and beaches. The property is very tranquil and well maintained. I love how they stay true to the farm feel that is super organic and simple yet super elevated. It is a vibe! I love how there are multiple buildings and so even if you decide to eat at the restaurants in the property, you will feel like you're going somewhere else, instead of just going to a different room. And yes.. there is more than 1 resto. And by the way, the outdoor resto "the grill" is brilliant! What you also don't see in photos are the service. The staff makes you feel at home except you actually wouldn't want to go home. I could go on and on but what I don't want to forget to mention is.. again. The service. I could tell that the staff is very skillfull and friendlyut more importantly, they love their jobs and the island. That is hard to find!

We absolutely loved our stay at Amagatay Menorca. We stayed in the Duplex room with private terrasse. The hotel is the perfect place to unwind and recharge, and we’ve rarely experienced such high-end, thoughtful service. The food is delicious, hearty and consciously sourced (sometimes even right from the hotel’s garden). Additionally, it is dog friendly and our small pet had the best time too :) Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but if you can afford it or want to treat yourself (even just for a few nights like we did), it is 100% worth it and I can only recommend it!

Absolutely amazed by this hotel. I came for a wellness retreat with a group of friends and left feeling completely refreshed. Every detail is thoughtfully considered — from the design to the calm, nature-inspired atmosphere. The staff were kind and attentive without ever being too much, and the food was just incredible, with plenty of choice. It’s a peaceful, nature-oriented haven - Menorca’s gem through and through.

We stayed at the hotel in early may and really enjoyed it. First of all the location is absolutely amazing. You are surrounded by meditteranean nature and the most beautiful gardens. The leisure areas include the swimming pool, outdoor swings and beds - all very relaxing and with a nice view. The staff is really friendly and helpful in terms of guiding u towards other experiences on the island. Lastly, the hotel is conveniently located in terms of visiting most landmarks on Menorca.
