I had the pleasure of visiting this charming Italian bistro today for lunch, and it was nothing short of delightful. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with warm lighting and a peaceful vibe by the window. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—genuine smiles and great service all around. You can really feel the passion from both the front-of-house team and the chef in the kitchen. I ordered the Amatriciana pasta, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful sauce, perfectly cooked pasta, and a touch of basil on top. You can tell it was made with care and authenticity. A truly lovely experience. I’ll definitely be back!

I was in Chelmsford to watch a T20 Vitality Blast cricket game, I checked into this popular Italian bistro right at the start of service. The chef-patron, 43 year old Neapolitan, Andrea Vasto, is clearly a hands-on type of guy, because he was busy sprucing the place up as I arrived. So, I was whisked straight upstairs to a very attractive set-up, food ordered, nose powdered in the single classy loo and luncheon served! I had whatever the Italian is for lemon chicken and fries. Jolly tasty too, nice, succulent chicken breast and VERY lemony indeed. Nice fries too. Stupidly, I didn't take a copy of the bill, but, from memory, it was around a very reasonable £16. Done and dusted in a little over 30 minutes. Perfect pre-cricket fare.

I had a great dining experience at this Italian restaurant tonight with my friend. From the moment we walked in, the owner was incredibly welcoming and polite. Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food arrived quickly, and everything was fresh and full of flavour. The dishes stayed true to authentic Italian recipes, which I really appreciated. You could tell a lot of care went into the preparation. The atmosphere was lovely—upstairs was especially peaceful and spotless, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. And I have to mention the dessert: the pistachio tiramisu was unbelievably fresh and delicious. I’d go back just for that!

I went to this restaurant a few days ago and I wanted to say how amazed I was with the atmosphere, service and the food. It was one of the best food I had ever had. Not only has it got a good price range but also amazing staff. The waiters are kind, caring and attended to all of mine and my family needs. I would recommend highly to have a meal with this restaurant. I will 100% be coming back again!

Today i ate at the best Italian restaurant outside of Italy. A very sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere with lovely authentic touches. I ate the gnocchi Amalfi and pistachio tiramisu ….. so good. The Chef was so lovely , greeting us at the door…how often do you get that level of welcome. .The girls serving us were fab , friendly and professional. . Such a wonderful lunch , everything was perfect. I will definitely be visiting again. and highly recommend it

I had a fantastic meal here. The best Italian meal I’ve had. Fantastic service, just a shame it wasn’t busier. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection with massive pieces of pancetta. Couldn’t fault anything.

Been here many times and all meals have been delicious. Would recommend to anyone who loves food ❤️
