Yelp
This is one of those rate instances where I would honestly go 10 stars if this was allowed.
Full disclosure, we were Rustico fans back when, and got off track with traveling over there, pandemic, etc. A clear spring day, and a new Jeep Wrangler and away we go.
Amalfi Coast? Simply put, AMAZING and did NOT disappoint.
Yes, Rustico was a hard act to follow, but Taylor and her crew have successfully navigated this, stamping their own brand with an incredible menu.
And the portions? Oo la la. We went for lunch and begged for a place to take a nap. Lunch, for us, morphed into take home's for dinner. Presentation was outstanding, AND...they practice something every 5 Star restaurant does not always accomplish. Every element of the meal is paced PERFECTLY.
We were not asked about dessert, but frankly the look on our faces told them the story, but dessert is the next trip. I may have even said, PLEASE, no dessert today, but a food coma makes one delirious.
The decor is their own, and deservedly so. Elegant, without taking away from their desired cozy setting.
We are not oenophiles, so I can't speak to the wines, but the listings I am sure would more than satisfy any palette.
In short, do yourself a favor and go, Go, GO. Compare it to the legend of Rustico if you must. Yes they are missed, but Taylor and Company WILL have you coming back for more.
