Good place to stay, near to Alexanderplatz. Trams are a bit noisy passing below. Some details not up to scratch, no batteries in the TV remote, no sugar for the tea and coffee, no kettle to make your tea, the sofa bed is too small for two grown adults. Small things but a little annoying. General impression is very favourable and we enjoyed our stay. Great shops, not your usually high street brands, within a few minutes walk.

The hotel has an excellent location, right next to the metro and tram stop. The room was clean, well-furnished, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed for just two days, but I believe it would also be convenient for a longer stay (7-10 days), as there’s a kitchen for cooking and even a yoga mat provided.||The self-check-in process was not the most convenient. While checking in was easy, we were mistakenly charged a fine upon checkout. Since there’s no reception, it was difficult to get in touch with someone. However, I want to highlight that the issue was resolved, and the administration was understanding and helpful.||Overall, a good place to stay, and I would recommend it!

Very large rooms (even the smallest size), comfy beds, great water pressure in the shower and checkin was easy through the tablets. Also great location and bringing a dog was no problem (no extra amnesties provided with the pet fee). Only negatives were that there were dirty diapers in the bathroom bin when I checked in (accompanied by the lovely smell) and since there is no staff on site and no one picks up when you call reception (waited 3min) that was now my problem to solve. Second issue was that is very loud. Torstraße is a generally loud street, but since the trams make a turn here it’s especially noisy and you will never want to open the window.

2 stars because it is a self service check-in plus the app they ask for u to use to self check-in before arrival doesn't offer our location in that system so no early self service check in and, they never replied to 3 emails sent about the app or any type of answers and NO luggage hold until you can check in and even though when I called the number to ask, a day ahead, to ask about luggage drop due to coming in at 8am because check-in is at 3pm, they told me that we can drop luggage but, didnt tell me it was at another Amano hotel 8 minutes away! Not a big deal normally, but we are traveling for 18days with 5 people! That is a shit load of luggage to WALK 8 MINUTES!! And when we did try to check in at 3:15pm both ipads for check in were not working! We called at least 4 times before another Amano hotel location picked up the call and then we spent another 30 minutes trying to have keys made by us via the phone call! Up and down multiple times to rooms due to cards not working!! Very frustrating! Then I guess the guy helping finally was told our keys were waiting in a lock box at our location and he gave us the code to get them. Disorganized, problems to get ahold of anyone! The room is fine the location for us was good but I will never use a self service check in or Amano due to issues ever again!

The room was very big with a good wife connection. However when I entered it was smelling cigarettes. Same as reception. The lower bed sheet wasn’t there and given you are on the 1st floor on a central cross road you get to hear cars and trams all night quite loudly.

The hotel is in a great location, next to subway and tram lines, surrounded by several restaurants and in walk-in distance from Alexanderplatz. The auto check-in, be it via app or physical terminal, is easy and quick (and also very modern). ||||There was some space between the bathtub glass and the wall, so water would escape and do a bit of flooding in the bathroom floors.||Overall, a very positive experience. I'd stay there again.

If I could I would give 0 stars for service. Stayed there twice, both times an issue. Receptionist (Benjamin) was rude and hung up on me. Ridiculous. Double booked the room charge and the second booking charge is still not returned to my account. Definitely never going to stay there ever again.

I have actually stayed at this hotel many times. Overall, my experiences have been positive, but there are a few concerns I'd like to address.||||Firstly, while I often hear the sound of ambulances from my room, it doesn't feel disruptive, and I sleep comfortably. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, which I appreciate.||||However, the communication could be improved. I have sent three emails regarding various inquiries, but I've only received a response to one of them. The last two emails went unanswered, and I'm not sure why that is. For instance, I wanted to inquire if I could pay for a late check-out, but I never received a reply regarding that question.||||Regardless of whether the requests can be fulfilled or not, I believe that guests should receive responses to their emails. Thank you for considering my feedback.

Yelp
I stayed at Amano Home for an academic conference, and this location exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The location is great and a few steps away from public transportation, and the facilities are excellent. Amano Home offers modern, new, and relatively spacious apartment hotel rooms that were perfect for our stay. Our room had a living room, bedroom, and a cleverly hidden kitchenette. Loved the clean lines and modern deco. The apartment included a complete set of dinnerware and silverware, a small dishwasher with dish soap, stove, microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, a Nespresso machine with capsules (great touch), and even a yoga mat and dumbbells. The living room couch opened up to an extra bed. This was perfect for my work trip, as I had plenty of space to work in the living room while my son slept in the bedroom. Just a few notes. The apartments could use a desk or small workspace. I had to use the coffee table to work, which wasn't extremely comfortable. The hotel also does not have a restaurant, but you can walk less than 10 minutes to Hotel Amano, its sister location, which includes a breakfast buffet and lovely restaurant, bar, and lounge. All in all, I had an extremely comfortable and pleasant stay, and I highly recommend the Amano Home apartments for those traveling for business or families or groups who need extra space while touring Berlin. I definitely plan on staying at Amano Home again the next time I'm in Berlin.

Yelp
This is a really excellent place to be based in Berlin. We rented the 7th floor two bedroom apartment which featured a walk out patio with a few of the TV Tower. The rooms featured comfortable beds and well placed lighting and storage. The living room also faced Torstrausse, with windows that opened up. It is right around the corner from a U-Bahn station, and the Tram runs in front of it, too. The unit was spotless and featured a dishwasher plus plenty of silverware and plates. There were also nice touches, like a sample of luxurious soap. The best part of our stay was how kind the staff were. We received an offer to pay 35 Euro to keep the room until 5pm, which we accepted and paid in cash. The next morning, the staff member stopped us & apologized profusely as that unit had been rented. She said we could stay until 2, and they would store our bags. On top of that, she offered to allow us entry into another room to refresh ourselves for an hour. She also refunded our fee! This is a lovely hotel and I'd happily go back.

Yelp
We had terrible time at Amano Home. Our room on the top floor (number 704) did not get any wifi signal (and their site does directly promise complimentary hight-speed internet). We have asked guys at the receptions to fix it several times. For the first couple of days they were promising to bring in a tech guy, but he never materialized. On the 3rd day they blandly stated that their router is downstairs and that there is nothing they can do for us. They also rejected my request to change rooms. "The best we can do for you is let you check out early without penalties". It would cost them 30 Euro at most to get a new router for the top floors, but they simply refused to do it. Horrible people, horrible service, fake promises on the website. Oh, and for our last two days their elevator broke down too. The whole hotel, all 8 floors, was shuffling up and down the stairs.
