Loved the place. So different from the cities. Quiet, quaint streets. Autumn colors made it even more beautiful. The boat ride on the lake was beautiful. With seagulls gliding above head. What was upsetting were the tourists feeding the gulls with crackers! The agency provided a lovely lunch. What a surprise.

Fun experience with an amazing view! Took the single chair ride to go up and down, the ride takes about 7 minutes and lets you relax and enjoy the environment around you. There is no seatbelt, so be careful if you are scared of heights! Once up at the platform, the view is stunning and you get multiple different platforms to take pictures on. There is also a clay throwing ring that you can give a try, but it is very hard to hit it. Overall, great experience for just 800 yen!

Heavy snow, yet you can relax in the restaurant upstairs while waiting for the view and feeding your stomach.

We loved this whole experience!! We enjoyed the chairlifts up and down to the Incredible observation deck! They have a cool gift shop and a few food places! You get to pose the Matanozoki!! We visited twice in two days!! Very fun 🤩 and beautiful place!

Amazing views over the bay, take the cable chair as it is a better experience in our opinion. Wander around and take it all in, make sure you do the “Kawarake Nage” clay throwing and the “Matanozoki” pose to view the land from another perspective. There is a shop, restaurant and bathrooms at the top.

Amanohashidate, often referred to as the “bridge in heaven,” is a pine-covered sandbar 🌸. This is a fascinating place where you can witness a natural sandbar that has formed over thousands of years. When viewed upside down, it resembles a green dragon soaring through the sky. To experience this unique perspective, stand wide-legged on the brownish platform and bend over to see the sandbar through your legs. It’s truly a fun adventure, although I’d advise caution for elderly visitors. Additionally, near the metal ring, you can purchase clay chips for 200 Yen (3 chips) and make a wish. If you manage to throw the clay chip through the ring, your wish is believed to be granted. For a complete experience, I recommend taking the cable car up and the lift chair down from the observation deck. This way, you’ll enjoy different views of this remarkable natural wonder. 🌟
