Was a nice one night stay. It is up a hill. So if you're not driving you'll need to trek it. Right next to a shrine, which is nice. Free tea and coffee. Has an area to cook, refrigerator, microwave..Basically just about anything you want for kitchen use. They sell beer and sake. Overall super comfortable stay. Would stay again. Had the room to myself, but would be a great place with friends. Need to rent the bath towel, and buy tooth paste &toothbrush, if you didn't bring these yourself.

Almost good ryokan with reasonable price! Around 4,000JPY per person in private room! We were quite lucky to stay only in our group, relaxed in bath and dining room. Better to visit the place by car. Supermarket is around 5 min by car, you can eat and drink in their dining room ( not in your room) . The best thing is you can enjoy panoramic scenery of Amanohashidate from the dining room!

Amazing location and people, we stayed 1 night and it was a great experience. We had good service and everything was well located. I'd definitely stay there again!

If you want something cheap, come here. They have a community room, where they have a small assortment of cutlery, a microwave, a cattle, a space to cook etc. They have a lot to be able to take care of yourself. But for me personally cleanliness is very important and they definitely couldn't serve this. The rooms, the community room, the bath, everything was pretty dirty. The house itself is super old but I don't mind that. I do mind water dripping from the ceiling. The staff was very friendly tho and the location is lovely. There are not really and restaurants close by, for your information.

Good budget option for travellers, considering the limited number of low cost places to stay. Just be aware that it's up a hill, a bit away from the main village. There's an option to have meals at the hostel.

The hotel is situated on a hill, approximately ten minutes' walk from the main road. If you arrive late at night, it is recommended that you buy groceries at the supermarket on the main road (the kitchen can be loaned so you can cook yourself). This Japanese-style hostel has a bathroom with a capacity of four people and one private shower. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Even though he doesn't speak English, the host is very friendly. The only drawback is the smelly toilet; everything else is highly recommended.

It's a very old property and there are very clear signs of its age. Cleanliness is perhaps not the best at all. But if you want a place to sleep at night, friendly and very helpful and kind staff, and a good location, this is the place. I stayed 3 nights.
