Amanzi Trails Orange River Adventures

We had the most incredible time over the 4 nights we were on the river. So much laughter and fun going down the rapids. The nature and bird life along the way are stunning. The dedication of our guides was phenomenal, they made sure we were safe and taken care of all the way. They also prepared the most delicious meals. Very impressed.

This is a must do trip, bring your family and your friends. Its fully catered which is awesome for moms, just pack your drinks and snacks and your sunscreen. Its an awesome few days with fun, laughter, great food and awesome birding and even fishing. The rapids are not scary and the guides are well trained and so experienced.

Great Campsite right on the river, well organised with great facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff, food was amazing and the Lapa/Bar a great place to prepare and wind down from the river trip adventure. Our guides, Mr Jack and his crew, took great care of us during our 3 days of river travel and fed us like kings

This is definately a bucket list holiday and I highly recommend it!!!!!!!! The entire experience along with the most amazing scenery was just magical!!! Our 2 guides, Vino & Ricky was just fantastic and they went above and beyond for us. We had 3 people who is gluten-free and they even provided them with special cupcakes! We had 4 children on the trip - aged between 5 and 8 and they just loved it. Vino and Ricky even played and fished with them as well as provided us with a concert. Can't wait to go again

We had an incredible experience with Amanzi Trails! Our lead guide, Kavera and his team were amazing throughout the trip, making the best food and keeping us safe, happy and comfortable, always! The correspondence leading up to the trip was also great and we had all our questions answered. We were also provided with all documents necessary to cross the SA-Namibia border - making it seamless and easy to do. We would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to experience a bit of the Orange River!

Canoed down the orange river after Xmas 2023. What an amazing journey. The views were incredible and no photo can do the landscape justice. Our guides on the tour were excellent, especially Hannes, who took extra care of us. 3 meals a day on the river all were delicious and nutritious. Would recommend the experience to anyone.

Perfect campsite on your way to and from Namibia just 10km outside Noordoewer. Huge camsites on the bank of the Orange River. Stunning views and relaxing atmosphere. This will forever be my go to place for the first/last night in Namibia.
