Amara Bangkok Hotel

I was staying at the hotel for a week. Some minor places for improvement, but overall the experience was nice. The view from the pool and gym is great, the design of the building and rooms are modern and nice. Reggae from concierge team is super attentive and friendly, he's always ready to provide assistance. I would say every hotel needs someone like him to elevate your staying experience. The location is quite good too, a few minutes walk to silom food market, a street of massage shops opposite to hotel VOCO. And it's a 10 minutes grab ride to places like Sanyan MITRTOWN mall and Chulalongkhon food street. Would consider to stay again if the chance occurred. however the room service could be better because toothbrushes and towels were not refilled (the lady is super friendly tho). i also learn that there are complimentary sessions such as yoga and bouquet making workshop (i'm not sure), it's certainly a good add on that elevates your experience.

Overall, a decent stay, but with several aspects that could be improved for a 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and offer great views, which is definitely a highlight. The pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos, the water was quite cold (so only usable during the sun hours), and there are only 8 sunbeds available. That said, the views from the pool area are stunning. There are some tables and chairs nearby, but the service is quite slow, likely due to limited staff. Cocktails start at around 400 THB, which feels expensive considering the service. We also missed having access to a courtesy shower on the day of departure. After checking out, the only option offered was using the lobby restroom to change, which is not ideal for a hotel of this category. The breakfast buffet was okay, but nothing special or memorable. In summary, nothing was bad, but the experience didn’t fully meet expectations for a 5-star hotel.

We absolutely loved our time here. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless, with incredible views of the city. The staff were warm, helpful and always attentive — they really made our stay feel special. The location is perfect for exploring Bangkok: central, well-connected and surrounded by great food options. The rooftop pool is a highlight — stunning skyline views and the perfect place to relax after a busy day in the city. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was very nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with good selection. The pool area and bar are lovely, perfect for relaxing. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

My partner and I stayed on the 23rd floor with an amazing view of the city. We had a fantastic comfortable stay at the hotel. The infinity rooftop pool was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Continental breakfast in the morning was superb. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Bangkok.

The room was very nice and modern. The view from the club room was great. The privacy curtain between the bathroom and the room was dirty but other than that no complaints very nice day rooftop pool is top-tier and the staff was lovely. Breakfast is also very good..

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the Amara Hotel in Bangkok. The location is very good, the staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the rooftop pool is absolutely breathtaking – clearly the highlight of the hotel 🌆🏊‍♂️ However, considering the high price per night, the room did not fully meet our expectations. There was mold on the shower ceiling, the shower head was damaged, and we also had a cockroach in the room, which can happen in tropical countries but is still unpleasant. After mentioning these issues, the response felt rather dismissive, limited to a brief apology. For this price level, we expected better maintenance and handling of such issues.

Rooms are decent size but dated. Breakfast buffet is rather limited for a 5* hotel. At times one has to be wait 10+ minutes for a table or at the coffee machine. The club lounge is not worth it. Overall cleaning could be improved. The only real positive is the location. Be aware of a smell due to many smokers.
