Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok

This isn't our first time staying at the Amari Don Muang Airport, and it certainly won't be our last. It's consistently our most convenient and comfortable place to land and depart when flying into or out of Don Muang (DMK) airport.||We arrived around midnight, exhausted after a long flight and traveling with two young children. Despite the late hour, the check-in team welcomed us with warm smiles, making the process smooth and quick. The night bellboy was incredibly friendly and polite, helping us get our luggage to our room so we could all get some much-needed sleep before picking up our rental car the next day.||The fantastic experience continued into the morning. The buffet breakfast is absolutely fantastic! The supervisor team greeted our children warmly and were incredibly helpful during our meal.||The Amari Don Muang is the perfect transit hotel for late-night arrivals or early morning flights. The service is reliable, friendly, and exactly what a tired family needs. We highly recommend it!

Where do I start?? First of all the hotel is under construction so when you come from the airport, the causeway to the hotel is closed. We ended up using the street causeway which runs parallel to the hotel causeway. No big deal until you get to the end and have to carry all your luggage down the stairs. We got to where ( I’m guessing the old lobby was supposed to be) that is closed and under construction. Looking lost and unsure where to go next, a staff member showed up and called a golf cart to take us to the lobby. The trek out room was not a short one. The halls are endless with many halls in this direction and that direction. Finally got to our room, which is beautiful! Dropped our stuff and headed through the maze of hallways to the one elevator they have! Literally 1 small elevator for this entire hotel!! We are room 42** so you can imagine the complete chaos if there was an emergency (I know! I know! We should take the stairs) but you get my drift. Not sure how this works with the countries safety codes, but I know where I’m from this wouldn’t fly. The location should have been a five star, for the convenience to the airport but due to the lack of communication on how to actually get to the lobby it got a 4. Service could have been 5, if there was more communication on how to enter from the airport. The restaurant has great food.

Excellent stay. Direct connection from the DMK airport. Don't follow google maps , instead ask airport staff. It is accessible through a skywalk from gate 6 of the airport .You can even go with the airport trolley to the check in counter of the hotel which was very helpful for us as we have lots of suitcases. The reception and staff are very welcoming. We had an awesome breakfast with lots of varieties. The staff of the hotel even dropped us off at the airport check in counter with the luggage. There is a swimming pool too which we could not use due to our rush hours. I strongly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed at the Amari Don Muang and had a really great experience. The hotel is very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. A special thank you to Manow, Ploy, Jame, and Aomsin, who looked after us so well and made us feel genuinely welcome. What really sets this hotel apart is its unbeatable proximity to the airport. When we checked out for an early flight, the bellman came straight to our door, took our luggage, and escorted us across the landbridge, transferring everything onto an airport trolley. All we had to do was cross the landbridge and we were already at the airport — incredibly smooth and stress-free. If you have an early flight or want convenience without sacrificing comfort or service, this hotel is an excellent choice. We’d happily stay here again.

The hotel is old, which I could accept, but the cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. The bathroom smelled strongly of feces, and there appeared to be feces on the shower drain cover. This should never happen in a hotel room. After reporting it, no apology was given—only an offer to clean the room. I requested a room change, but the new room was even worse: older, more worn down, air conditioning not working properly, and much farther from the elevator. Extremely disappointing experience and very poor handling by staff. I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night before our trip to Penang. We drove there and from the first moment the staff were all friendly and professional. As we were leaving the car for several days we were shown to a carpark right at the back with a security guard showing us the way. Then concierge arrived in a golf buggy to bring us and our luggage back to reception. At reception we were met by Khun Kwan Manow who took our passports and organised check-in with Khun Almond, they were both very lovely and helpful and explained about collecting my car on our return. Khun Kwan then showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. The room was fabulous and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic with a large spread of western and Asian food. The staff were all lovely, polite and very friendly. Overall an excellent stay and we will stay again, thankyou.

We were a family of 13 who had a long wait at the Don Muang Airport due to flight change. I walked up to the reception to find helpful team ready and willing to assist. They got us three room of one which was connecting. The rooms were clean and well presented. We ordered room service and the food was excellent. The service and team were on point. It was a good choice than hanging at an airport for 4 hours.

We stayed at Amari Don Muang Airport for one night due to a late arrival and an early flight the next morning. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its convenience—being directly connected to the terminal made our travel incredibly easy.The room itself was just okay. It served its purpose for a short stay, but the hotel overall feels a bit run down. We also noticed a pest in the room when we checked in. Since we were only there for about six hours, we didn’t report it, but it’s something worth noting.If you need a quick and convenient place to rest between flights, this hotel works. But for anything longer or more comfortable, you may want to explore other options.
