A great hotel in the middle of Vang Vieng. I stayed in a 1-bedroom suite that was spacious, had a gorgeous bathroom, and was home to the comfiest bed ever. The rooms were, as to be expected, spotless. My room had a wonderful view over the mountains and river from one of the (three!) balconies, with the other view looking out over the town itself. The swimming pool is gorgeous, if a little cold, and offers both sun and shaded areas to lie. Breakfast selection is vast and offers both Asian and western (hot and cold) foods, so I’d say it’s definitely worth the price. The shuttle to the train station is incredibly useful! My one small gripe would be that the pool bar was apparently open, but I never saw a member of staff by the pool from whom to order a drink or snack. Other than that, it was a fantastic three night stay.

This hotel is stunning & in the perfect location. The rooms are spacious & the beds are very comfortable (too comfortable, you’d never want to leave!). The room service was also one of the best meals I’ve had in Laos (breaded fish & chips). The breakfast was OK, if you come during peak time, food will run out & it does take long to replenish. ||I’m not sure if it’s because I visited during peak season, but the staff were not consistently nice. Some were very friendly & helpful, whereas the rest were not nice at all. I think the bellboys / luggage helpers were consistently the most friendliest. ||I specifically booked a “river view” room & the hotel tried to give me a room with a “direct pool view”. I was very annoyed at this because what’s the point of paying more for a room & then not getting the room? I asked the reception to change the room & they said they’re fully booked. I stood my ground & eventually got a different room. ||Overall, the hotel is in a good location & is very nice. However, I just don’t think it’s worth the money (my most expensive hotel during Laos). I just expected better service. There’s a lot of hotels in the area for a fraction of the price. So, I would not return or recommend. I personally think staying here is a waste of money.

Pros: - great location, right in the middle of everything - peace and quiet at night - rooms are very clean and organized - I had the river view room. i highly recommend getting this because the view is incredible Cons: - my key card randomly stopped working multiple times throughout my stay. this was slightly annoying since i would have to go waste time to go back to the lobby and wait to get a new one Overall: I highly recommend this hotel. They just need to smooth out the technical kinks. Gorgeous river views and luxury room.

I had an incredible experience staying at Amari Vang Vieng. The hotel is beautifully designed and provides a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sunrise with breathtaking views surrounded by balloons from the balcony. The room was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was another plus, allowing me to relax and enjoy the views. The restaurant next to the pool offers delicious food, I highly recommend it! The breakfast was amazing, with a large variety of dishes that were very tasty. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Amari Vang Vieng to anyone visiting this lovely town.

We stay here for 2 nights, our experience here is top. The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. We booked the room with river view and it was worth the money we paid. The breakfast was great as well. There is also a bus service to train station for free. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.

Arriving at Amari after a 2+ hour minivan transfer, which included occasional grocery stops and random pickups from Vientiane, was a welcome sight. Our room was spacious and featured a very comfortable king-size bed, strong hot water pressure, and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the river. The air conditioning was powerful, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. We also made use of the small fitness center once during our stay. The pool was another highlight of this hotel, as it was never too crowded. The location was central to restaurants, the walking street/night market, and tour agencies. We appreciated the private hotel lot where we could park our motorcycle. If I had any minor complaint, it would be the lack of soundproofing from the balcony windows in the evening when the hotel restaurant played loud music. We managed to tune it out by turning up the TV volume. Additionally, the transfer to the train station was cheaper than the rate quoted by the tour agency. I would highly recommend this hotel for a very comfortable stay.

Staying at Amari in a beautiful country like Laos was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, close to everything, with a 7/11 conveniently nearby. The view from my hotel room was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff and service were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day perfectly. We also celebrated our New Year’s countdown at the hotel, and it was memorable. While the buffet options during the celebration were somewhat limited, the quality of the food more than made up for it — everything was fantastic. One small issue was with the water temperature in the showers, which fluctuated between being too hot or too cold without a comfortable middle ground. That said, the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the attention to detail was impressive. With its central location, incredible breakfast, great food, and excellent service, Amari is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Laos.

Amari brand is massive. It's one of the newer property in the area and one of the many across Asia. The mountain views are spectacular and the pool is so nice. The staff was super responsive and friendly. They booked all of our Activities and train tickets to LP. They gave great recommendations for the area. The restaurant was good but expensive. There's a small gym that is opened 24 hours. The rooms are big and cleaned. The entire property is cleaned. The elevator is silent and fast. After having stayed at other properties in the area and coming from America with some standards, this property suits me and I would go back. No complaints whatever so ever.
