AMARU INCA

This is a mid-price hotel in Cusco, a busy and bustling tourist town, and the price to quality ratio is good. The rooms were small but well set up, breakfast was good, and the hotel is very convenient for the city - a five minute walk to the center of town. The staff were helpful and our stay was good. Traffic is very bad in the city and it’s not a simple matter to get dropped off or picked up from here, but it’s easy enough to work out - the convenience of being close to everything makes up for the access issues.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. As you walk through the little door into the hotel, you have no idea of the beauty beyond. The carved wooden furniture, bannisters etc.,combine with the lovely flowers in the courtyard and the great views across Cusco to make this a great place to stay. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. There is fresh, free water available 24/7 to refill your water bottles, along with a variety of teas and infusions. An excellent breakfast too. Very accommodating staff who cope well with people leaving at all hours. The location is great too, just a short walk in a safe area to beautiful squares and the old centre.

I chose the Amaru Inca as it was centrally located in Cusco at a good price and the hotel made a great base for three nights.||The location is perfect with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and a short walk down to the main square.||A clean and comfortable room with a view over a central garden where the occasional humming bird would fly around the trees.| |A tasty breakfast with the friendly ladies popping in and out with food for the buffet or to cook an egg as you wanted for instance.| |All the staff were really friendly and helpful and given the location, price, room and breakfast this makes for a good base in Cusco.

We really loved this hotel. By far our favourite stay in Cusco. Huge room up some Hansel and Gretle stairs. This is very well situated and the breakfast is excellent. |There were some large tour groups checking in but no noise or disruption. ||There is always something going on in Cusco and you can experience it all from here.

Great place! Perfect location. The only thing was the sink had no hot water. It was just one night, otherwise clean and safe

This hotel was a great bang for your buck. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The complimentary breakfast was good and the grounds were adorable and comfy.

Charming small hotel in centre of old town, 2 mins walk from the main square. All the staff super friendly and helpful. I found it great value for money. Rooms are rustic in style so don’t expect 5 star luxury, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order. It was nice to sit in the sunny courtyard where there’s a little tea cart to help yourself. Would definitely stay again if I return to Cusco

Stayed here for 2 nights. •Shower is terrible and cold. •Front desk lady is not welcoming and has terrible people skills, always busy looking at the computer screen. •Breakfast is okay, if you love sugary foods and 1 egg. •Heavily overpriced, it was even more expensive to go to the door and book a night than it was to book online! •Overall unpleasant stay for the money. Very disappointing experience.
