AMARU INCA

We had a great time at Amaru Inca. We stayed for four days over New Years. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They serviced the room daily. The garden was very relaxing, tea and water were available 24/7, and breakfast every morning was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they even arranged a very early morning taxi to the airport for 20 soles and packed us breakfast to go. Location is perfect, everything is a close walk nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

A stunning hotel who embraced the ancient architecture, making an open and comfortable welcome. Very close (5 min zalk) to the main plaza with all the restaurants and shops, it is a perfect location! Breakfast has all the essential. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with often natural light. Reception welcoming that will keep safe your keys or advise at best if any help is needed. I was amaze by all the wooden structure insife and outside.

Very welcoming staff and very high water, temperatures and power. The hotel is very clean and the sheets and mattress are very comfortable. Would highly recommend water. Also taste pretty clean.

Had a great stay at Amaru Inca, it totally surpassed my expectations! Lovely green spaces, rustic rooms with comfortable beds and truly lovely staff. And the location is just perfect, just a few steps away from the 12-angled stone and a couple of blocks away from the main square. The only slight letdown for me was the breakfast buffet which I found rather limited, but aside from that I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great room! Super service! Wonderful atmosphere. Bed was comfortable. Shower was warm. Decor really nice. Room 203 was spectacular. Breakfast early, 0530 to 0930. Food was great as well. Strongly recommend!

Lovely room, warm and cozy, with a hot shower and a very comfortable bed. The staff was wonderful and the location couldn’t be better. We can highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location, very helpful staffs available 24h, nice shower all day long, beautiful garden and tea & filtered water available 24h. We got a beautiful & spacious room. Staying here during the first leg of our trip to Cusco was a best decision I made. It helped us with acclamation and getting familiar to Cusco!

-13.51528°, -71.97538° Hostal Amaru Inca is located in the charming, quieter and more authentic San Blas neighbourhood, known for its artistic atmosphere, cobbled streets and proximity to Plaza de Armas (about a 7-minute walk downhill) and Plaza San Blas (about 2-minute walk uphill). Given the altitude, approximately 3,400 meters, the location in San Blas means you will have to walk uphill for a bit to reach the hostal, which itself has no lift and can be a problem for guests with mobility problems or heavy luggage. The hostal has a nice, traditional and cosy atmosphere, highlighting the beautiful courtyards, Andean decoration, and comfortable common areas. Despite being in a popular area, the hostal is relatively quiet and peaceful.||In April 2025, our room 209 (2F) was at the back courtyard of the hostal with a comfortable double bed. It was clean and maintained with hot shower. Wi-Fi reception in the room was reliable and free. The amenities in the room are basic. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient, with options including fresh juice, eggs, bread and fruit.||Hostal Amaru Inca is highly recommended for its excellent location in the San Blas neighbourhood and its charming traditional atmosphere.
