Amaudo is small but perfectly formed. It is a boutique hotel situated between St Francois and St Anne on Grande Terre, a few meters from a tiny beach popular with surfers called Plage de Baroque. It has approximately 15 rooms, which are spacious, air conditioned, and absolutely clean with excellent facilities such as a kettle, coffee machine, fridge microwave, some crockery, and cutlery. Our room was on the first floor having a lovely terrace with a dining table and chairs overlooking the garden and breath-taking gorgeous views of the ocean. It was a pleasure to wake up every morning to the view and have cherished memories of it on our return home. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and we had a good night sleep every night. The bathroom is again spacious and well equipped with a good shower. The communal facilities were very clean and well maintained, with an excellent restaurant serving breakfast and an infinity pool which was sizable. Some rooms had their own pool. Staff speak English and French and were friendly, approachable, polite, efficient, helpful, and extremely caring, providing a first class service. A car is necessary if you are planning to go out and about and there is plenty of easy secure parking. The hotel made our holiday in Guadeloupe perfect!

Beautiful location with an amazing view. Easy walk to the bay below for a relaxing beach day. It is close to St Francois and St Anne. The staff including Bianca, Stephanie and Laurent were very helpful. They recommended amazing restaurants nightly and booked our reservations. The daily breakfast was tasty.

The hotel is a small 14 rooms charming hotel. We stayed in one of the room that shared a pool with three other rooms. The room was very spacious, quiet and perfectly cleaned every day. We had spectacular views of the carabean sea. A highlight of our stay was the service provided by Olga and Stephanie. Breakfast was perfect with enough choices of bread, pastry, fruit, cheese, meats etc… Olga even proposed to prepare eggs of your choice every morning. We loved starting our day being greeted with Olga’s smile and hapiness. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely experience here. The view speaks for itself and the staff made sure all our needs were met. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The shower had great pressure and the outside porch with the refrigerator was perfect.|The breakfasts were fresh and delicious. Most importantly the concierge was very helpful with ideas of things to do and made sure all our needs were met. It was a great week.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were looking for an elegant, quiet place to base out of as we explored Guadeloupe. The Amaudo was a real sanctuary at the end of a hectic day. The setting, the rooms and the pool are so relaxing. The staff is really welcoming, gracious and helpful. The lack of a full restaurant and services may not appeal to everyone, but there are dining options just minutes away. We plan to go back soon.

A lovely spot with beautiful views. The hotel staff is super friendly. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We upgraded rooms and had a pool that was shared with 4 rooms but we were the only ones in it. The grounds are lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel. A true gem!

Stephanie who worked the front desk was amazing! She gave great check in instructions because we arrived after 10pm. The room was big, spotless, plenty of hot water and water pressure, quality bedding and beach towels, coffee service in room, refrigerator and microwave in room. Housekeeping was amazing - perfect daily services. Pool was nice- but not heated, so cool in April. Only downside is that our room was next to the kitchen so we heard everyone at breakfast. The walls are a little thin, but everyone was mostly quiet and respectful of noise. Not a big deal to us because we had activities scheduled and we’re not sleeping in, but if you want to sleep in, you need a room away from breakfast area.
