Amaya Hills

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Located on the top of the hill, it has an amazing view over the town of Kandy. Really appreciated the clean and comfortable room. All the personnel was super kind, helpful and efficient. We requested the laundry service in the morning, and we we got back in the afternoon everything was perfectly clean and pressed. Breakfast and dinner were in buffet style, with a large variety, and with some great typical drinks and dishes.

This hotel was situated in the higher area of Kandy surrounded by exotic and lush vegetation and an excellent view of the surrounding area.|The service by the staff including Bhagya and Jayapala was impeccable. |The room was large again with beautiful views and very comfortable and quiet.|All in all a very tranquil and uplifting experience. |Highly recommend .

Situated in a hill surrounded by lush green mountains. There are several roads that leads here. Whichever you take you have to climb through narrow, not straight roads. The hotel has a breathtaking view.|The hotel is built representing ancient theme. Some paintings displayed also resemble Kandyan era.|The pool is large and is really sunny in the day time.|Food is appreciable and presented nicely.|The staff is friendly and helpful.|They maintain their own garden which has lots of plants and flowers. Raja who does the garden keeping does a great job guiding you through and helps with capturing.

We had a truly enjoyable time at Amaya Hills, Kandy. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, the bathroom felt quite small, especially with a bathtub squeezed in. One downside was the lack of soundproofing. We could hear hallway noise clearly and even chairs being dragged in the room above, which disrupted the peace. The food was tasty, particularly at dinner, though the variety was somewhat limited. During breakfast, we had to ask the staff to clear our used plates, which detracted slightly from the dining experience. While the staff were generally warm and welcoming, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of professionalism and training. A special thanks to the gardener, Yoga, who stood out with his friendliness. He kindly guided us to some fantastic photo spots and even took pictures for us. All in all, we had a great stay, made better by the scenic surroundings and relaxing ambience. With a few improvements in service quality and basic amenities (including toothbrushes and toothpaste), Amaya Hills could elevate the guest experience even further.

Overall we experience great hospitality during our stay.one of the staff who was in front desk ( sayuri ) the way she welcome us at the arrival was exceptional ..she able to exceed our expectations from the entire hotel first impression itself. She came with great attitude .body posture and the smile she offers which shows us the professionalism on what they do .

We had a fantastic stay at Amaya Hills a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and warm hospitality. The location is stunning, perched high above Kandy with panoramic views of the hills and valleys. It’s a peaceful retreat away from the city noise. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, a relaxing pool area, and great amenities. Every morning started with breathtaking views right from our balcony a highlight of our stay. A special thank you goes front line staff and to Lakdisa and sudeepa at the front office, who was incredibly helpful and professional. From check-in to departure, he ensured everything went smoothly and always greeted us with a smile. His attention to detail and willingness to assist made a real difference in our experience. The rest of the staff were equally courteous and accommodating. The restaurant offered a good variety of dishes, and the service was attentive throughout. Overall, Amaya Hills is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Kandy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return

We had an amazing stay at Amaya Hills Hotel in Kandy! The views from the property are absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. A special shoutout to Kevin, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. His attention to detail and warm hospitality really made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Kandy. We'll definitely be back!
