Amazing Chaung Tha Resort

The rooms are not well lighted and dark. The rooms are equipped with only one main light at the center of the ceiling. The room has the mold smell and insufficient sun light. The showers are old and bath towels are worned out. The beds are making noises due to have served many customers. ||The AC is working well. The rooms are classic style with a lot of wooden furnitures. The beach front is near and have so many food venders. The electricity is not regular. Breakfast is nice but just at satisfactory level. ||Electricity was cut at 8:00 am and will come back at 12:00 noon. My son 4 years old was very cold and hungry after an early swim in the sea. He wants to eat an instant noodle. So I grabbed the kettle and went to the dining area to ask for the boiling water. The staff said hot water and not free and need to pay 3,000 Ks for one kettle. I was furious and hot water is not the commodity that should have a price tag. Most of the hotels supply hot water freely at the dinning areas and walkways of the hotel rooms. Hot water is NOT FREE! the staff kept saying those words.

Not worth it with pricing and better not mentioned as 4 stars at all. Need a lot of renovation of landscaping work, expected to provide more better service and quality of breakfast. The rooms were old and especially noisy at the southwest corner as pretty close to the congested public area. Hopefully this will help for further improvement. Cheers!!!

Great customer service and friendly staffs. We are a group of 6 and quite demanding yet they never failed to fulfill our requests. Except the guy at the reception was rude. Breakfast is good as well. The only thing to improve is cleanliness as bedsheets were dusty, bathroom is not so clean and smelly a bit at last day before check out.

I stayed there for 2 nights with my friends for a year-end vacation. I really like their services and customer care. Rooms are really clean and cozy to stay and provide enough complimentary things for us. ||The thing I really love about is they gave welcome fruits for us in the rooms.❤️||But I rated 4 stars because of their location. The hotel exists in the place near the village and the guests from another place are gathered near the hotel.|So, we couldn't feel as private near the hotel area.

First off the staff was rude, everything in the room was either broken or run down. We payed for a $90 sea view suite which was far from the ocean. The guests also had no respect, one person even spat in the pool.

- Service bad - Room Service VERY BAD - 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM no electricity ( other 3-4 star Chaung Thar Hotel provide generator) If you want Electricity, you have to pay for it in this Hotel. - I found only few service staff in this hotel. - I never come again this hotel. - My family unhappy - I feel very sorry for my family.

don’t stay here. waste of money. waste of time. waste of energy. we never had this kind of disappointment before with a hotel which charges large amount of money but can’t even afford bare minimum. TERRIBLE DO BETTER.

Best hotel and location in Chaunghta. Beautiful pool side area and absolutely the best staff you can imagine. Food is also good and there is tennis court, spa etc. services in the hotel area. You can also borrow bicycles to bike around. Will definetly go there again since this is simply the best place to spent your holiday in Chaunghta. Greetings to the super lovely staff from Finland!
