Our new favorite place for steak! For starters, their fried pickles are the BEST I've ever had! Cocktails, sides, and desserts are all good as well! We've had Chrissy as our waitress the past 2 times, and she does an awesome job & is so friendly & sweet 🙂 **went again recently & tried something different..their boneless wings with the Fugedaboudit sauce.. they were fire! 🔥

First time there, pleasant atmosphere. Excellent Breaded Tenderloin. Recommend the Peanut Slaw too. Not crazy abour the Potato Skins. Will visit again when in town.

Amazing Joe's gets the job done. Friendly faces, good service, and good food. My Tenderloin was ok, but the potato soup was terrific. The wife had what looked like a yummy sandwich and she loved it.

We always love to come here. The staff takes first class care of us and the owner, Nick, treats us like family. Tonight was extra special as we watched game 3 of the NBA finals there. The game went beyond closing time, but Nick and the whole staff came out to cheer with all of the other customers. Just a great experience at a great place. ❤️

Avoid the wings. They are not big. More like you will think pidgin not chicken. The chicken sandwich, the burgers, and the Porkchops are excellent, as are the fries, sweet potato fries, salads, and beans. Service is excellent!

The food was good I consider 3 stars average so I wish I could give 3 1/2 The sweet potato fries were exceptional according to my husband and I liked the flavor of the baked beans sauce even though I don't eat beans. Lol Our server Sam was so nice and did everything she could to help us have a great experience. We will come back if in the area

This was my first visit to Amazing Joe's. It wont be the last. Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere. Affordable pricing. We will be back.

Our waitress was not attentive. She brought drinks and disappeared. Somebody different brought the salads and a different person brought the refill and main course. Bre was the one that took care of us and made the meal enjoyable. Thanks Bre for stepping up.

Looking for a similar place to Applebee's or one that has variety of dishes? Try this! Pastas, burgers, steaks, wings, salads, and more! It's the type of place where you find quality comfort food! Place is always clean when I go and the servers check often enough.

My review from 5 years ago came up and the funny thing is, this experience clearly didn't set in my memory because I have zero recollection of going here 5 years ago. However 2 years ago, we started going fairly regularly. The food is amazing. The service is amazing and their cinnamon ice cream is out of this world! If they sold it in gallons, I would buy it BUT it may not make it the 2 hour drive home. We've tried many different things on the menu and have yet to have a bad item. The only bad part...it's ALWAYS packed!!

Drove downtown to Amazing Joe's to see a bit of the city and because of great Yelp reviews. Better than I expected. Great service. Complimentary garlic bread very crisp and in a basket full of garlic butter to dip. Excellent. Chicken with black beans was very good. Baked beans on the side w bacon were another strong recommendation.

The ribeys are great so are the ribs .Great atmosphere. Everything was cooked perfectly

Great tenderloins! Charged $3.99 up charge for ordering green beans instead of fries. So watch out. They charge extra up charge for lots of things. Sad. I just want to buy the meal why make it so complicated. Other places don't.

We were in Columbus, IN, with a need for dinner. However, we did have to drive across Columbus IN to get to the location. 1. the fried mushrooms and hore radish-based dip were incredible. 2. The salad (Ceasar) was fresh, and the dressing was spot on 3. OK, so normally, this slot would be the steaks, but instead, we will say the Mashed Potatoes and gravy were awesome!4. Oh, did we mention a grill and steaks? Yup, we had steaks. Cooked to perfection. The option, by the way, of crumbled blue cheese on your steak? Yes, please! You know a place is good when you have to wait. We did, and the place was packed on a Friday night. If you wander to Columbus IN, add Amazing Joe's to your meal plan!!!!

Food was great Jade is a great server from out of state. If I come back this is the place too go I can't say enough about the atmosphere and food .

I update my review of Amazing Joe's based on an Amazing turnaround in Service. I always found the food to be very good but Service was lacking. Nick has turned this place around by visiting with the guests and taking time to speak with the patrons. Great job, Nick. My wife and I ate there last night at primetime 7 p.m. The place was pretty full and yet the service was excellent. Nick stopped by a couple of times to check on us. Most people like the steaks and / or the ribs, as do I, but l this time i tried the pork chop with Cajun seasoning. 5/5 stars. My wife had the usual fish plate and she said it also was very good. As far as the lights shining in my face (see prior review) that's still a problem but I solved it by unscrewing the light bulb. The staff and management had no problem with that , and I think found it a bit humurous. I screwed it back in before leaving in case the next guest in that booth wanted to be dining under a flood light!!!. Anyway, I'm happy to have a nice restaurant to visit in Columbus and happy to change my rating to 5 stars.

We stopped for the night in Columbus after a disastrous experience at Noblesville Imports. I was not in a very good mood, but we needed to go out somewhere for dinner. We chose Amazing Joe's and I have to say they turned my bad mood completely around! The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. And, though we were a little worried about it being Family Night, it turned out to be quite a special experience. We could see lots of families with small children being visited by a Balloon Man. He was so good with the kids and produced some amazing balloon creations for them to play with and/or wear as hats! The children were happy, the parents were happy and we were very happy we had chosen this great restaurant!

No chef, owners believe in consistency not creativity! Big pass! I prefer a chef when dining out, I drive to surroundings cities for dinner in establishments that employ chefs not managers for the kitchen.

We were the first customers of the afternoon with a 4 pm open. Restaurant was very clean and the staff were very nice. Had my first bowl of peanut slaw, delicious! Food was cooked just as it was ordered and everything was very good!

My boyfriend and I ate at Amazing Joe's for the first time tonight and we absolutely loved it! Rebecca was our server, and not only was she very sweet, but she was also very attentive. I ordered the chicken kabob meal and for my two sides, a house salad, and mashed potatoes. Our server made it known that everything is made from scratch and we were very pleased! My boyfriend ordered the ribeye and added sautéed mushrooms & onions. We are so, so happy with this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Thank you to Joe for saving our group. We were staying on Columbus but out for the day and thought we would have dinner in Nashville. The restaurants there closed at 5. We drove back and found Joe's with kids eat free on Mondays and a magician. What a rest. The food was good, service too. And entertainment.

The burgers & steak are really good there. We've never had an issue with the service or ambiance. We were extremely disappointed that they now charge for their loaf of bread.

The staff is Amazing .. pardon the pun. Best filet in Columbus without breaking the bank. Nick is so involved in the guest flow that he shines. Kudos. Recommend you give this team a shot.

We like to try new places when we go out to eat. So we ended up here. I forgot to take a picture of my husband cajun shrimp Alfredo meal. He said it was amazing. Had great taste. He couldn't eat it all so it ate the rest for lunch the next day. The artichoke and spinach dip and fresh chips where very tasty. It had a little spice to it. Our meal was great. The only thing we didn't like was no alcohol menu was mentioned so we was confused if they sold alcohol or not. Just a reminder you should offer a beverage menu. We was told since it was a family restaurant they didn't keep the menu on the table

So far, hands down, our favorite place to have lunch or dinner! We stumbled upon Joe's when we moved to Columbus after our son said the one near Ball State was really good! So glad we tried it! We have not been disappointed yet! They have fantastic steaks, burgers, Cajun pasta, ribs are pretty good too! We can't get enough of the sweet potato fries with caramel dipping sauce, or the warm garlic bread! Their mozzarella sticks and marinara are the best I've had in many years! The onion ring tower is a favorite. The staff is friendly and always so great! Great place for friends night out, date nights or family dinner! Don't let the full parking lot deter you from going! Tons of seating inside and outside and we've never waited more than 15 minutes, even when you couldn't get in the door to the hostess station because they're so packed. I highly recommend going soon, if you haven't been, you're missing out!!

The only thing I found impressive about Amazing Joe's is the amazing price, It's expensive for what I got, and would have received * a lot more * at the Red Lobster across the parking lot. The manager didn't formally introduce me but just said hi in passing. The food, chicken parm, seemed to try not to be offensive as nothing about it was noteworthy. Charging for bread was also a disappointment. I think I'll wait another five years before visiting again.

I've gone to Amazing Joe's many times and have ordered different things almost every time and everything I get is amazing! Their fried pickles are the best I've had at any restaurant. Definitely recommend the tenderloin sandwich, it's the incredible and in my opinion, the best in Columbus, IN! The staff is always very friendly too. Great restaurant with great people!

I think this is the best restaurant in Columbus Indiana. The food is always good when we go there.

This is the second time we have eaten here. It was just as amazing this time as it was last time. The ribeye steak is seasoned perfectly and the sweet potato fries with caramel sauce was divine. Our server was attentive and very nice. We would definitely recommend this place!!

If you don't know where to eat.. try amazing joes. Potato skins are to die for, salads are fresh and nice, steaks and burgers are always great and flavorful!

Columbus dining leaves a lot to be desired. It is basically a food desert. However, Amazing Joe's is a wonderful exception. The food is exceptional and the service has always been good. Nick checks on his guests and always has a smile. Forget about the chain restaurants that the city has and try Amazing Joe's.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! And here is why LOUD! Around 6:15pm My party of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) were seated after a short 5 minute wait. In a Very busy area. That was so loud the waitress couldn't hear what we were saying and we couldn't hear what the waitress was saying. PRICE VS TASTE! The menu items were priced way too high as far as most restaurant in the area go. We ordered pickles and mozzarella sticks for appetizers they were 9.99 each there was 8 sticks and basically a handful of pickles we felt cheated. After we recieved our appetizers we ordered. I ordered the breaded tenderloin after it was recommended by the waitress my brother got the T-bone steak. Upon receiving our food all I could taste from my tenderloin was grease. No seasoning at all, it was bad. So I tasted my brothers steak, it was also quite bland and tasteless there was not even a seer on it. CHECK PLEASE! The waitress brought our checks at $120+ and we gave her our payment and she left. After at least 15 min of waiting we look around for the waitress and we see her off waiting other tables! We Had to walk over and ask for our cards back. Before we could leave. OVER ALL! Joe may be many things however he is far from amazing if I could award ZERO STARS I would. Terrible experience will inform everyone I meet about this! WILL NOT RETURN!!!!

The food is SO GOOD here. We drive over an hour just to eat here. The cheddar bacon fries with ranch are delish! The cheesy chicken macaroni is THE BEST thing on the menu. You won't regret your visit.

Pretty much the only place we eat in Columbus, IN. Nick and Chad are great community members who constantly do all they can to give back. Whether it's donating food for the United Way lunch or doing events and catering for non-profits, I will continue to support this local business who is all about the community! Now onto the food and service... BEST RIBS IN TOWN. Better than any of the local smokehouses. Not sure how they do it but their ribs are unreal! You also can't go wrong with any steak from them. Best steaks in town hands down. I'd rather have a sirloin from Joe's than a filet from the other steakhouse in town! Pork chops are killer and the burgers are phenomenal!!! Lately we have been ordering their salads. Their grilled and fried chicken salads are amazing. Salad is always fresh and I think they make their own dressings because they're unlike any other I've ever had. My kid is 3 and the pickiest eater ever. He loves the Mac n cheese, fries and the green beans. He won't eat green beans anywhere else! I've never had bad service at joes. Whether it's Tanya or Kelsey behind the bar or Kayla waiting my table (some of my favorites) you will not have a bad experience. Knowledgeable and super friendly staff from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave the place. Thank you to Amazing Joes for continuing to meet all expectations!

One of the very best Long Island iced teas! My husband and I love them! Our food is generally prepared nicely, and ok prices, usually a nice ambiance. Haven't eaten there all year :D

I have lived in Columbus for about 6 years now and haven't really tried this place out. Decided to try it out and have been back 3 times within a couple weeks. They're known for their steaks , and it pretty good quality steak. Apps were also pretty good ( see pics) . Service is on point and friendly. For dessert, I recommend trying their homemade personal apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and caramel drizzle. Amazing. Will be back!

Really it's 4.5 stars for me! First time visitor here. We were seated after a short wait. Waitress stopped right away for our drinks order. Tried the cheese fries w/bacon app and all enjoyed. The ranch dressing dipping sauce was very good (homemade?). Ordered main entrees and everyone was very pleased with their meals. My fillet medallions kabobs was very tasty. Beef was seasoned good and you could "cut it with a fork" tenderness. We would definitely go back. My ultra picky son even approved of this place . Overall we very pleased with our food and enjoyed very good service. Good solid restaurant.

Okay. Hard to say because storm came through and took away power. The onion rings were excellent with tenderloin sandwiches just T average.

Had heard great things about this place but that was not my experience. Ordered signature burger and "upgraded" to potato soup. Soup had little flavor and was lukewarm. Burger arrived undercooked, egg overdone and grey in color. Son had boneless wings and said they were ok. Bill was wrong and had to wait for correction. Mens bathroom needed attention including almost no toilet paper. Prices were way out of line. Sad experience.

The food is mediocre, I wouldn't go if you have something decent at home. Lively bar crowd with inappropriate conversations.

Stopped in here while I was in town to see family. Tried their version of the French Dip sandwich. It was amazing....even reheated it was great! It came with sweet potato fries and the prices were very reasonable. Service was great. They do have bar service as well.

Ordered a rib dinner w/baked potato for takeout yesterday ... delicious!!! Sauce delicious - not spicy like many places. Will definitely be going back often.

Well Amazing Joe's is amazingly mediocre. What that can do well is garlic bread, apple sauce, and Guinness in a can. Mozz stick tasted freezer burnt, had to ask for ranch several times even though it was asked for when first ordered. Order a mixed drink, it was just straight whiskey, asked for a glass with half coke and then was asked for my drink back so they could mix it. I obliged even though that's drinking 101. Never give a drink back. It came back still wrong. Broke it down Barney style for the next drink. Still not right. Chicken park is decent. Been waiting on extra parm for my pasta for 15 min so far with the waitress no where in sight. She's sweet but probably new without adequately training. Steak was cooked to the correct doneness. Just your normal steak nothing special. Fries totally over fried but some how still soggy. Despite all this, the sign outside states they are starting kitchen staff at 18$ an hour if your looking for a job.

Ok the first two times we were here with friends I was not impressed with the food at all. The service has always been great. This was our third visit with friends. Food was actually really good. I got a tuna steak, green beans and applesauce. Husband got a filet, baked potato and ceaser salad. Tuna was cooked the way I like. Green beans were good despite haveing onions in them, but they were easy to eat around. Applesauce was well applesauce. The fillet was very tender and very good. Salad and baked potato is hard to mess up so they were good as well. Dessert was apple pie I enjoyed very much and chocolate cake he enjoyed. Owner is very nice and makes table visits and chats with guest. When in Columbus check Amazing Joe's out.

Best steak in Columbus! Kids eat free certain nights which is great for families. I typically get the filet but I've not had bad steak ever. There are plenty of menu options so everyone can find something they like. I do wish they had a better drink menu. The one in Muncie is just as great! Frequented it plenty of times in college for drink specials. Be ready to wait on the weekends during dinner "rush" but it shouldn't be too long.

I was in town visiting family and it was suggested to eat at this restaurant. We had a party of 8 and was told 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I inquired how much longer(we had a small child) and I was told a couple of minutes. Another 15 minutes later and they had zero interest in getting us seated, we ended up leaving. I realize now our party was just too big for your business to handle, but would have been nice too just tell us so we didn't waste an hour. The 2 girls working up front, I would not call them hostesses, had zero etiquette and was very rude. Will not return!

My family spent the day in Brown County and like always, spent ridiculous amounts of time going back and forth about where we planned to eat. I have to admit, this wasn't the top of my list but I agreed. I called and they do not take over the phone reservations, so I expected a 30 minutes wait, which was probably more like 20! So yay! I ordered a Moscato but the waitress brought me her favorite to try, which was yummy!!!! I don't remember the name but it was a strawberry/cherry mix! We got the Spinach and Artichoke Dip with the Pasta chips! This dish was delicious. It was really small and my dad ordered it so I have no idea how much it was. I would have prefer it been larger as a shared app but it was the BEST I've ever had and everyone agreed! I was nervous about the salad because of a Yelp Review Photo but it was bigger and better than expected. The steak was good, cooked as ordered. My husband ordered the Ribeye which was good and I the Sirloin. Mine was a little dry but I did order it Medium Well. I did feel that it took awhile to get our food. You know that awkward moment when you're sitting there thinking, "how long have we been here?" But it was okay and our waitress was pretty awesome!!! She was playing peek-a-boo with our son and even brought him a plate of fruits from the bar! So sweet! Overall, I'd recommend this place and I'd try it again.

Fast and great Food!!!! Came here in between Softball games. Buffalo wings were spot on. Service was amazing and super friendly!!

We were so excited to come here. We sat at the bar. Server was nice. Drinks were good. Bread delish. Then came the wilted salad. Not your fault...you don't grow your lettuce. But there is a trick to perk it up. Put in produce sink, fill half way with wather, add some ice. After about 20 min. drain and put in cold prep. Even our salad bowl was warm. Maybe accidentally put under warmer lamp? We both had steaks. Seasoning was nice. Sadly my med rare was med. well. No pink anywhere. It happens. Hubby was fine and tender. Place was pretty busy. Baked potato was wonderful. We will chalk it up to a bad night. Will try again, next time in area.

Best steaks in town! The onion tower is awesome! Never had a bad meal here and the service is as good as the food
