This place is fantastic. Tucked away amongst the trees in a beautiful jungle setting yet no mosquitoes. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and good. Even having a buffet 3 times a day for 5 days they managed to rotate enough different entrees to keep it interesting and delicious. The tours were awesome and our guide, Angelo, was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of just about anything in the amazon was remarkable. His ability to explain history of the area and entertain simultaneously was excellent. His English was also top notch which helped some of the friends with us who had no Portuguese knowledge. He answered ALL of our curiosities. He was worth so much more than we could have imagined. The jungle hike was on the massive hotel property and was so cool, but every other tour was off site. We were able to catch piranha and see Cayman on the fishing excursion. We saw the meeting of the Two rivers which was a fantastic sight. We swam with the rare Pink Dolphins. Went to a monkey sanctuary with some rare species. We went to a Caboclo and learned about the way of life of the people on the river whilst sampling some moonshine and other homemade treats. Went to a Rubber tree plantation exhibit. We had an indigenous experience that was authentic and beautiful. The casitas at the hotel were very simple yet comfortable. AC worked great but shower pressure was minimal. This is not a place if you are looking for a 5 star SPA type resort but it certainly met all of our needs. The Natural pools on the property were great to cool off and hang out on the lounge chairs. The beauty of nature in this area is simply indescribable and the hotel managed to build a beautiful resort without disrupting the beauty of the natural jungle. We stayed 5 days but 4 would have been enough to do everything. Book it and ask for Angelo to be your tour guide and you will not regret it.

I had a wonderful time and stay here. The value was excellent (much better than another one I looked at); it includes multiple tours. I recommend you stay at least three days.. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The complex was also very clean and maintained consistently. I always saw maintenance crew working on things. The food and drinks were very good. Just remember, you can order more than one side ha ha. I didn’t realize that until the last night. Did you have to pay extra for alcohol but Water is always available. At breakfast, you can have made to order eggs or omelettes. also try the tapioca crepe especially if you’re gluten-free. Because you take tours with people who are also staying at the lodge, you’ll make friends quickly and find yourself sharing meals together – even connecting on social media after the trip! The owner also established a monkey sanctuary so you can see a bunch of monkeys and you can even feed a couple and create a cool video or photo. It’s in a nice location without busy boat traffic tucked away in a lagoon area where you can swim or you can swim in their natural (Amazon Water) pools and waterfall. Overall, I just had a wonderful time.

The only negative was that the noise the fridge made. Unpluged it was fine. Great place to understand, the Amazon, the wildlife and the people. Highly recommended

We stayed at the Ecopark Lodge in October at the end of the dry season. The river was very low so we had to take a car to drive to and from the Lodge. The wet season was expected to start in a few weeks time so anyone visiting from then on should see much more water in the Rio Negro|The staff at the Lodge couldn't do enough for us, and we would like to thank them all for making our stay so memorable.|Our room was very comfortable and the air conditioning great. We loved the natural pools - so relaxing after the outings in and around the area. |Special shout out to Moses who was a fantastic guide. He knows so much about the flora and fauna and cares very much about the environment.|Thank you to everyone for making our visit great.

It's a good place to experience the jungle around Manaus, clean rooms, delicious food and interesting activities like piranhas fishing, Jungle hiking, monkey forest and night tour in a canoe to spot Caymans...

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The air conditioning is good. The room is clean. The property is really unique to separate you from the busy city life. The restaurant foods are wonderful with different menu and really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The only complain I have is the shower water is not strong, and we just take longer shower time.

Good place to explore amazon forest. Low to middle level exploration. Veg options are limited. Customer service needs to be improved

It was not worth what we had to pay for it. To my surprise their guide who was clearly doing discrimination with us among their heterogeneous group of guest. We were with some Portuguese group on day of visiting water meeting point and the guide was listening and giving preference to only the Portugese group. He did not take our request to explain in the English as well. During the lunch at the floating platform after visiting the water meeting point he gave undue preference to serve only to the Portuguese group. He even changed our dining place in the middle of our lunch, on the racist request from the Portugese group. The tables was not reserved by laguange but only to stay place and we were right place as others. It was such a bad experience with that guide particularly. Resort owners may be good people and there is no major lacunae in the stay as such except in the experiences. They should seriously train such guides or keep scrutiny to keep guides who behave in non recist way. We all have given the same cost to them and there is no reason for such discrimination. For other experiences also I would like to say that we stayed there for four nights. We had two rooms on single occupancy. We expected a nice amazon forest and wildlife experience in four days. But to our surprise they just take us very near to their resort and have just an hour trail adjacent to the resort. It was very basic. There was no birding tour. There was no dedicated wildlife tour on foot and/ or in a boat. Only one day visit to the water meeting point was somewhat worth to visit but that too ruined by guide for doing and supporting racist behaviour. I will never suggest or choose this place again which otherwise is great location and might have memorable experience if such guide do not exist on the unique property.

Yelp
We wanted a 'taste' of the Amazon so we planned a stop in our itinerary to tour Manaus for 2 days and stay at Ecopark for 4 days. We chose the 3 day package with one extra day (so we could easily catch our early morning flight out of Manaus). Transfers to and from Manaus were excellent. The lodge is lovely, cut into the jungle, mutilple individual duplexs scattered around groomed walks, The rooms were attractive, very clean, air conditioned worked perfectly and everything in the resort was remarkably well maintained (if you have traveled to the tropics you understand how difficult can be to maintain paint/wood etc). The food buffet (included in package) in the central dining area was good and included a variety of local specialities as well as some standards (spaghetti etc.) so both children and adults were happy. This is a lovely place for families to visit and experience some aspects of the region without the rigor of a major Amazon trip. Remember, it is hot and humid. The package included approximately two tour experiences/tours per day which are described on the site; however, the most memorable for us was traveling on the river. The lodge as well as tours are accessed via the river (the highway) so we were able to get a feel for the river and its iimportance in the region. The lodge itself has a lovey lounge area with fans and a bar; naturalized spring-fed rock pools cascade (great for kids and cooling off after an excursion), pool table and some games. An important part of our positive experience was the exceedingly attentive staff at the lodge and our excellent tour guide.

Yelp
From an old trip. The lodge is only accessible by boat, you are still close to Manaus. You won't see many wild or exotic animals but the highest concentration of animals is the monkey park near the lodge. The few hour speedboat tour was a good way to orient yourself. You'll see sloth and probably a boa here and there. There are huge lily pads and a pond full of piranhas. The lodge does have nice buffet meals before your treks. Get bottles of water!. You are in the rain forrest, so consider bringing an umbrella/raincoat, and wrap your books, cards, etc in a saran wrap. Wifi is only available in the eating area, and the signal is weak so download whatever you need before you arrive. They have a small bar with pool table which is the only form of entertainment after dark.

Yelp
If you judge the hotel purely as a hotel, of course you will be able to find better hotels. But this is an establishment that was built in the middle of nowhere but jungle and they have power and water (including hot water) 24/7 and even wifi in the lobby area. I have done the safari tour and also stayed in jungle in a different country before and let me tell you, it is true luxury. 3 square meals are served everyday (start and end time are strict) so you will not go hungry - only the issue might be after a few days of staying there, meals become predictable but as I said earlier, you are in a middle of jungle and you really learn to appreciate the variety and quantity that they offer. Accommodation is all bungalow style. This is one of a very few places that are right by water that doesn't go under water (literally speaking) during the flood season so you can stay here at any given time in the year without worrying about it. Very convenient location to do all sorts of Brazilian Amazon excursions from. This includes going to 2 water meeting points, monkey feeding, night boat cruise, indigenous cultural places, anaconda zoo (?), piranha fishing...to name a few. And from what I understand, because the acid level of water is very high, this is one area along Amazon where malaria is not an issue. I am not a doctor of any kind, but I can definitely attest to it that there were hardly any mosquitoes. If you have never done a trip away from what we consider "civilization", this area will provide you a nice mix of convenience that our modern life provides while still being able to enjoy some wild life. I have done trips where you need to use candles after a certain hour or wild animals are walking around your tents while you are sleeping or all you have to get washed up is cold water no matter what the temperature is. You will not run into any kind of these things at this location yet be far enough away from everyday life.
