Ambassador Boutique Hotel

The staff at Hotel Ambassador in Nyon are truly a dream—warm, attentive, and wonderfully charming. The cuisine is of the highest calibre, a sensational feast for the palate. The room felt more dated than in the pictures and felt dirty / uncomfortable. There was a foul odor from the bathroom when first accessing the room which lingered the whole stay. It was impossible to lower the temperature when it is common knowledge that optimal sleeping temperature per research is 18-20C but guests are treated like children and unable to control their own environment with a note on the desk that feels belittling. The staff was friendly and accommodating but the facilities are well below what one pays for and would expect from a hotel of this rating.

Cannot praise this hotel enough! We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is modern, all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and our room had a fabulous view over the lake. The breakfast was a buffet style and everything was fresh and tasty and seemed very hygienic. The breads and pastries are made at the bakery next door and the croissants were best I have ever tasted! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. (We booked 2 rooms). I cannot find fault at all and I was sorry to leave such a lovely place. We travelled from Nyon to Geneva by train and the transport system was excellent too. The train station is about 5 - 7 minutes walk from the hotel and Nyon was a lovely location. It took about 15 minutes by train Nyon - Geneva and about 25 to get Nyon - Geneva airport. The trains are very regular. Our only regret was we were not staying longer. If you are considering it, I would recommend to book!

Stayed here for work. Nyon is a small charming town. This hotel is also small and charming||Check in was friendly. From the lobby you can see the bar and restaurant, it’s small||Got a nice room with lake and castle view. Nice shower stall and thankfully no tub to shower in||Wrote a separate review for the breakfast restaurant

First, I spent a few hours wondering this lovely town earlier in my trip. I decided that I didn't want to stay in Geneva the evening before my flight because I wanted to stay in Nyon. The Ambassador Boutique hotel was perfect. Comfortable room, great hot shower, very nice breakfast, and best of all, lovely staff. The young woman at reception recommended a great restaurant for dinner and called to get me a reservation. Special place. Also, I felt very safe as a solo traveller. Highly recommend.

Excellent Hotel, All staff very friendly and helpful, especially Sam one of the Front Office Reception Managers. Hotel very clean, with comfortable bedrooms. situated within walking distance from the rail station for onward travel. Recommended to all who come to Nyon.

Awesome hotel where you want to be in the quaint, not really a tourista spot. We got an up graded room with a large balcony overlooking the castle and lake. The staff were awesome, breakfasts very good, easy walking to every where Nyon, and parking across the street. Definitely would stay here much longer next time.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location situated slap in the centre of Nyon with a view of lake Geneva and Mont Blanc from some of the rooms. The bathroom was top notch (shower only, no bath) and the only criticism was that the twin beds were rather narrow. Breakfast was decent too
