Ambassador Hotel Jerusalem

Small room (smaller than pin pictures) but bed comfortable. TV Channel choice not great. Shower was in a bathtub - old room and needs refurbishing.||Room service was good and on time. AC worked well in the room.||Reception helpful and will call taxis for airport, local or for the border and the taxis they call offer reasonable prices. ||Location was not bad - 10 min ride to old city or 25 min walk. ||Breakfast ok with a selection of hot, cold and bakery items. ||An old hotel which has probably seen better days but works for a few days stay as a base.

The staff is amazing. Due to flight delays we arrived at 3:00 am. They held our reservation and promptly showed us to our excellent room. It is modern and quiet. Even the linens are first rate. The meals at the restaurant buffet are amazing and delicious. One night we had Wagu beef stew, an excellent tasting and low fat beef. The desserts were worth saving room for. ||Throughout our stay, the staff seemed eager to make sure we were served. For example, after our late night check in, we missed breakfast. Though we did not request it, the manager sent up a fruit tray and bottled water so that we did not completely miss out.

This hotel is centrally located, you can walk around the area. ||The room was nice and comfortable.||We were a group of 40+ people. The restaurant offer very good buffet with a good variation of food and the service was excellent. The WiFi signal was good enough. ||I recommend this hotel.

This is a gorgeous hotel within walking distance of the Old City. The hallways and rooms are tight but virtually brand new and high-tech. There is excellent Wi-Fi and beautiful decorations. The rooftop bar and outdoor balcony are worth visiting for a nighttime view of the city. I have no regrets about staying here!

Excellent service and food. Has an Accessible rooms for individuals who use wheelchairs. Within close proximity to transportation. They were very accommodating to my needs. And when we needed anything, they were quick to respond to any of our needs. Hotel room was clean. Food was great in the hotel's restaurant. The hotel provided great breakfast every morning

Rooms are comfortable and very clean. The hotel is situated in a quiet area and still in walking distance to the old city. My only complaint was that the toilet seat in the bathroom was extremely loose. We were there for six nights and I had asked the front desk to fix the problem and it was still not done by the end of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The king bed room was large enough to make it comfortable for 5 nights. This was a base to see may surrounding sites each day. Buffet breakfast and dinner was quite good with options for everyone. The wait staff in the restaurant was outstanding. They remembered who wanted cappuccino and who wanted hot tea. They would assist with serving and carrying soup and other plates. Friendly and attentive. ATM and grocery right around the corner. Only problem we had was the inconsiderate archaeologists on either side of us who start slamming their doors at 3:00 am. to eat breakfast, return to their rooms, then leave by 4:30. A lot of door slamming for 90 minutes. Maybe the hotel should consider putting all those people on the same floor, away from others trying to sleep.

Nice hotel! Nice restaurant! The atmosphere is very nice and everything looks clean! I did not sleep here but I ate here and I was impressed. I would highly recommend staying or eating here. Stop by and give them a try. The view is pretty nice as well!
