Ambassador Hotel, Lahore-Pakistan.

I have been to permit room for some purchase of liquor. The staff was nice. There was no fan or air-conditioning system for customer. Customer pay lot of money for liquor there should be at least couple of fan for customer. Although I am giving 5 star but service was not 5 star It looking like standing at local shop.

Visited in feb 2016 |Positives:|1. BUFFET BREAKFAST.... they got sooo much variety with top quality complimentry breakfast. From desi lasi to continental cornflakes... they got it all. I just loved it. Do try their lassi as I liked it so much and halwa poori.|2. Ambiance: Overall hotel was very good. I liked the room as well.|3. Food: Food was also good.|4. Wifi connection ||NEGATIVES:|1. They havent provided me pick n drop facility to airport inspite of mentioning in their reservation confirmation letter.|2. Tv was very old. It was philips 20 inch tv i guess whose contrast gets better after 15 20 mins of turning it on. And channels were blur as well.|3. We had our reservation 2 3 days back on coperate package. On reception they didnt had it and they send us to their sales n marketing manager. I showed them email on my phone then he gave us the room. It was annoying. We went into the manager's room like we r in principal's office. Thts how they behave with coperate clients.||Overall. Confirm your booking prior and do not rely on them for pick n drop to airport.||P.S. there is a rent a car service banner on the reception. Contact them as the man was very nice and they have corolla cars. He also charge resonable (we hired them to go to wagha boarder in 2k)

Location is good but restaurant needs renovation. Rooms also require remakeup. Lights were so dim in the rooms. House keeping had a big question mark on its performance. New Management working hard for renovation. I felt it will again be a good hotel soon.

Went there on high tea, taste was good, ambience was good, but items are less in number comparing with Monal or other high tea venues. Not much populated. 7/10 experience. Staff was efficient in refilling food trays.

Stayed here in 2001 and 2005 with no problem .. something has changed for the worst here. First door to room wouldn't lock .. AC- Heat didn't work. Bed sheets had many stains from previous washes and didn't smell clean. No towels or toilet paper on arrival. Had to call to front then go to the front desk to get service after no one ever showed. Balcony was dirty and rails had dirt that rubbed off on our hands. This was 15,000 rupees a night .. equal to 150 $ US .. really .. what a joke. This is maybe a 1 star now .. 25 $ a night would be about right. The included Buffet breakfast was good but that's was all.We talked to others who checked in same time as we did and had same issues. We checked out after 1 night and moved to another place down the street cheaper and much better. We saw others leaving same like us very dissapointed. Management needs to take note. What has happen to this location? Beware and look elsewhere.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the breakfast buffet was decent. Stayed at this hotel in 2001 and 2005 and it was a good 3 star hotel. I don't know what happen must be in much different hands now. No towels in room or toilet paper upon check in. Had to ask several times and complain to front desk to get service that was by going to the front desk. Bed sheets had stains from previous washes. Many outlets didn't work and banister on balcony was filthy when we put our hands on it. We paid 15,000 rupees for one night equals 150$ US dollars. This place isn't worth 5000$ rupees a night. A 1 star hotel now at most. Beware. We checked out after 1st night as did many others we talked to staying there due to poor service. Management here needs to take note.

Very good hotel, has 4 storeys with full centrally airconditioned rooms and lobby. In summers its very pleasant to live in such place. Buffet system which they offer to inmates is very hygienic and upto standard. Rooms are are very clean and well managed and being taken care very well. Management is trying best to make the hotel worth living.

Well located but not extremely well maintained. They are however trying to renovate their rooms and meeting rooms. Old carpets have gone and tiled floors are in. Rooms have newer furniture. Meeting Rooms have a fresh paint but the corner show a poor renovation work. Wash rooms have a mix of old and new fixtures. A low cost renovation seems to be in progress. Food is average. Service is below efficient and lobby has an old look.
