Erin the bartender is great!! super helpful, not only with my actual orders but coordinating shuttle services and taking care of a lot of other patrons at the same time. it was so lovely getting served by her! the rooms are just okay, the building itself has a ton of charm. my breakfast from the deco took a long time. I think there was a mix up with my ticket but when it came out it was delicious. Close to American Family Field, I will be back!

Loved our stay here. The art deco decor was beautiful. The room was nicer than I expected with everything in great condition. We had a nice city view from our top floor room. The room was quiet and comfy. Parking in the ramp was easy. We had a show at The Rave, and this was so perfect walking right to our room afterward. The staff was all so kind and everything was nice and clean. I am looking forward to staying again sometime.

It's truly a charming place. I've stayed before and was impressed. Last minute change of plans this visit, needed a hotel and Connie was very helpful. The shuttle is an awesome feature; I had returned to Milwaukee not to play, but for annual medical checks, and the shuttle went to a couple of them! Thanks for making my Milwaukee time easier and enjoyable!

Stayed here 12 years back, and both stays were great. Staff was/is super friendly and helpful. Got a corner room on an upper floor w/two beds and it was really roomy with a nice view. Sure, the furniture and carpet is somewhat worn, and the bathrooms aren’t huge, but you expect that in a vintage hotel. Everything about the ambassador is charming. With Sinatra playing in the elevator, you feel like you’re in a time warp. Will definitely stay here if I’m ever in town again!

Hotel lobby is charming. Love that they kept the original Art Deco sconces and crown modeling. The STAFF IS GREAT, Gin Ricky’s bartender was awesome, food is also very good. The problem was the ROOM. We were here on a holiday and until I spent a little more time in the room, did I realize how disgusting it actually was. Blood stains on the floor, blood stains on the bed, pee stain on the bed?, (I didn’t notice this until we were checking out🤮) eye lasses stuck on the mirror. Completely disgusting. It’s too bad because the staff is amazing here. Probably wouldn’t come back due to the room being so insanely gross.

Clueless and informative at the same time. Seems strange but that’s the best way to describe my stay there. I would like to say that I received the best help from the morning desk. The most generous of them all…..Maria G. - Thank you so much for your help! The room was a bit outdated for the cost and the bathroom was something to behold versus the other rooms I have stayed at in this century…..especially the toilet, if you like to sit so low that you are practically on the floor! The only positives were the beautiful site lines down Wisconsin avenue, the complimentary shuttle around the Milwaukee area and the close proximity to Marquette University. One last warning. If you are booking with Wyndham Rewards, I would recommend NOT to pre-check and just wait until your arrival. The two systems do not facilitate booking as well as you might expect!

BE AWARE OF YOUR CARS! This isn't on the hotel, I know that, but just always be careful with what you leave in your vehicles. I've been to this hotel numerous times throughout the years and it's always been great with no issues! Unfortunately, this time though I've had some things stolen/moved around in my car while it was parked in the parking garage. It wasn't anything of much value and no damage to the vehicle itself, thankfully! I wanted to bring awareness to this and warn others to be always be careful and be aware of your surroundings. Other than that, I always love staying here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, incredible decor, and convience to The Rave for concerts!

We had a wonderful time! Very clean and tastefully renovated. Super comfortable bed. The lobby is beautiful with items dating back to the 1920's. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The courtesy shuttle was just an added bonus. They will take you downtown and pick you back up. Will definitely consider staying here again.
