Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Had a wonderful three night stay at this "hidden" gem of a hotel. Almost 100 years old this is an art deco masterpiece with the lobby and restaurants located within including "The Fitz". Service could have not been better from the front desk, wait staff and the free shuttle service especially a gentleman named "Tito" who literally became, what seemed, like my personal driver...well done my friend! Located near The Pabst Mansion and Marquette University and just a short 5 minute drive downtown. Enjoyed dinner one evening each at "The Fitz" & "Gin Ricky"...meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended when visiting the lovely city of Milwaukee.

My wife and I recently stayed for three nights in the King Whirlpool Suite, and we had a fantastic experience overall! After researching all the hotels in Milwaukee, this was the only one we found that offers a whirlpool/jacuzzi option—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The front desk team and courtesy shuttle drivers went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We also appreciated the gated parking, which added an extra sense of security. The hotel’s 1920s-inspired decor, charming designs, and even the vintage elevator music added so much character and really captured the history of the neighborhood. The location felt safe for daytime walks, though we did notice the area felt a bit sketchy at night. Our only complaint was the room didn’t have a microwave and the shower temperature—it never got hot and stayed closer to room temperature. That aside, we were very comfortable and would definitely consider staying again.

While we were in town for a wedding, the temps were in the single digits and we opted to spend more time in this nice warm hotel instead of going out sightseeing. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly, pleasant and helpful. We ate in each of the restaurants and all food was delicious. The bed was also very comfortable. We enjoyed the decor and everything throughout the hotel was very clean. The parking charge was more reasonable than other downtown hotels I looked at and we were able to park in a garage rather than outside.||There are two things that you will want to be aware of when deciding to book this hotel. First, as others have noted, the bathroom is very small with an almost child sized toilet because that is all that would fit in the space. This hotel was built in the 1920's and the bathrooms were not as large as they are now. Second, the neighborhood is not one you will want to walk around in after dark, but it IS downtown and they have a homeless problem as many cities do.||Overall this was a comfortable and very pleasant place to stay and we would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Milwaukee.

This place was great. So e would say run down, but it's old, what do they expect. We went to a concert at the Rave and walked from the hotel. Location was perfect. We had dinner at the Fritz before hand and the good was excellent and the service was fantastic. Crystal was great. Will definitely be staying and hitting the Rave again in the future.

Exceptional service! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful concierge services, every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. Big thanks to Rico for going above and beyond! The ambience of the hotel is simply unmatched. This was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle! Highly recommend this hotel!

Once again, the Ambassador Milwaukee has provided us a remarkable stay! Great staff and accommodations! Excellent food and bar service, Connie, Rico and Darius are the best! Their commitment to Customer Service puts this Hotel over the top! Highly recommend! The best in Milwaukee!

Stunning building and atmosphere. All of the employees were very kind. The hotel room was perfect. We used the jacuzzi at least 5 times during our stay! Ordered room service Friday night, the food was great! Had brunch with Santa on Sunday which was super fun. There is so much nearby to do. We went to Five Below- fun mini putting. Visited the Harley Davidson Museum, spent some time at the Potawatomi Casino. Drove and walked around town. Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

Will.T is the greatest human I have ever met in my entire life. Such a great bartender, such a great human. Will has been such a pleasure, and very welcoming. If you ever go to the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee, you need to see Will!
