Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I booked a room here because it was near the Baird Center (1.2 miles), was very affordable, and had good reviews. Was blown away by the friendly staff and how clean the room/bathroom was. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable and the room was huge! It’s also near the Eagles Ballroom for those of you who like concerts. It has a parking ramp nearby for $20 extra. We just temporarily parked in their side lot to unload our bags and moved the car to the parking ramp after checking in. Built in 1928 so has Art Deco character and is very cool if you like unique historical places. There was a group of musicians staying there who were very fun to talk to. The bar had a nice crowd and heard they have good pizza. Room 507 is the Dahmer room so glad we didn’t stay in that one. Some people might be into that tho.

We stayed at the Ambassador during a last minute trip to Milwaukee. Upon entering we were greeted by the shuttle staff, they were friendly and smiling. The lobby was stunning with its Art Deco decor and the staff memeber that check us in was chipper and helpful. We were really impressed with how every staff memeber we came into contact with was friendly and attentive. From the shuttle driver, front desk staff, bartender and others. It’s something that really stood out for us! It really seems to be “Milwaukee’s friendliest hotel”! The single King room was priced great which a ton of space. Bathroom was huge! Room was clean and bed was wonderfully comfortable. Location is also great, short car ride to Potawatomi (we took advantage of the FREE shuttle from the hotel), Milwaukee Public Museum, restaurants and stores. It also right across the street from The Rave! We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the Ambassador hotel for two nights this weekend. It was our second stay (after a positive experience many years ago) and our first time eating there. Our experience was superb, beginning to end. The room (king bed) was spacious, clean and excellent in all ways. The price was reasonable, ≈$120/nt with tax. Dinners in the The Fitz restaurant and in the bar/cafe were excellent, especially but not only the desserts. Ample portions in both venues and for very reasonable prices, especially for hotel meals. The service was friendly and effective throughout, both hotel and restaurants. The very authentic Art Deco theme/atmosphere is fun, and maintained throughout the facility. Know that the hotel is west of downtown in a neighborhood that is not especially interesting to walk around; having a car is to the good. Parking is $20/nt. The hotel has a 3-mile radius shuttle service, which we didn't use since we had a car. Certainly an easy way to get to the wonderful Milwaukee Domes nearby.

This is the third time staying here, first time I have written a review about any place. The staff is top notch. Shuttle serivce is awesome, you are ten minutes from everything. Room service is something special, great food at a great price. The cons are things that I really have to nitpick about. The neighborhood, yeah Im not going for a late night walk: day time is fine. I wish they had a suite with a seperate TV room (I wake up way before my wife). The fridge is small ( bring a cooler). The place is awesome, highly reccomend. Like I said the cons, I gotta dig for.

My wife and I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel 12/19-20/2025. It was a wonderful experience. The Art Deco theme of the hotel, combined with excellent service and well appointed room, made this a fantastic 23rd anniversary experience for us! We are Diamond Members in the Wyndham Rewards program, we have seen a lot of hotels. This was by far the best experience yet.||We eat Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was fantastic. Susan, Betsy and Megan made us feel welcome, and like family! ||Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had such a nice stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. Dave our shuttle driver was a hoot and very knowledgeable about the city. I felt like I was on a mini tour. I gave 3 stars for location only due to the fact of being a bit far from downtown. The shuttle is very accommodating. It was nice not to have to navigate traffic and a new area. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. I look forward to my next stay at the Ambassador! Thank you.

We had a wonderful day. It is a nice art deco hotel. It’s a little outside of downtown and some of the area might be a little sketchy, but the security was on point. The staff was incredible. The room was great. We had a seventh floor, good view, and the rate was very reasonable. We also liked the parking garage on site. We had a Jacuzzi tub in our room which was very nice and we had access to Netflix movies for free. 100% would recommend and will be staying there again if we go back.

We decided to give this establishment a try after booking a couple of concerts at the Eagles Ballroom. I think parking in their ramp was 20 a night. We had a late night pizza in the bar and it was fantastic. The drinks were somewhat pricey but it was a decent pour. We will definitely be back.
