Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

My wife and I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel 12/19-20/2025. It was a wonderful experience. The Art Deco theme of the hotel, combined with excellent service and well appointed room, made this a fantastic 23rd anniversary experience for us! We are Diamond Members in the Wyndham Rewards program, we have seen a lot of hotels. This was by far the best experience yet.||We eat Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was fantastic. Susan, Betsy and Megan made us feel welcome, and like family! ||Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is the third time staying here, first time I have written a review about any place. The staff is top notch. Shuttle serivce is awesome, you are ten minutes from everything. Room service is something special, great food at a great price. The cons are things that I really have to nitpick about. The neighborhood, yeah Im not going for a late night walk: day time is fine. I wish they had a suite with a seperate TV room (I wake up way before my wife). The fridge is small ( bring a cooler). The place is awesome, highly reccomend. Like I said the cons, I gotta dig for.

We LOVE the Ambassador! We don't travel much anymore and it's been awhile since we were in Milwaukee for the night, but everything about it was just as excellent as it was the last time we stayed there. Every single member of the staff was so friendly and professional, from the gentleman at the parking lot door, to everyone we passed in the halls, to Vincent, who confirmed our check-in. And the room was so luxurious, it was a real treat to stay there. I have a strong feeling the staff are treated well by management. We came down for a concert so were only there for the night, and it was a Tuesday so it was pretty quiet. I felt bad for not being able to take advantage of the restaurants during our stay but we certainly will the next time we are there. Thank you for everything - especially for remaining as excellent and beautiful as you are in these challenging times.

We had such a nice stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. Dave our shuttle driver was a hoot and very knowledgeable about the city. I felt like I was on a mini tour. I gave 3 stars for location only due to the fact of being a bit far from downtown. The shuttle is very accommodating. It was nice not to have to navigate traffic and a new area. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. I look forward to my next stay at the Ambassador! Thank you.

First off, I’m in love with 1920’s architecture so I was drooling over everything. The friendliest staff Ive ever encountered! Now it could be the slight scent of weed so if you’re super sensitive you might want to skip or wear mask. The room I was in had a great view of the concert venue across the street. It was a tad bit tiny but I’m petite and don’t need much room anyway. Super convenient to that for sure. Would highly recommend this if you’re not uptight about urban stuff. Pretty tame actually. Very friendly people in Wisconsin!

We had a wonderful day. It is a nice art deco hotel. It’s a little outside of downtown and some of the area might be a little sketchy, but the security was on point. The staff was incredible. The room was great. We had a seventh floor, good view, and the rate was very reasonable. We also liked the parking garage on site. We had a Jacuzzi tub in our room which was very nice and we had access to Netflix movies for free. 100% would recommend and will be staying there again if we go back.

Nice place to stay. Except we got a king room with a jacuzzi tub and couldn't use it. We were not going to wait 2 hours for it to fill up. Very poor water pressure. There was no microwave, the Keurig did not work so no coffee. There was a sign in the room for snacks and minibar and location but nowhere to be found. That shuttle was a game-changer so you don't have to drive anywhere. The downside of the shuttle had no Air conditioning it was broken, the Windows didn't open, and the sliding door did not open from the inside. So you're locked in. Not good in an emergency. It holds 14 and at one point I think there were like 20 packed in. They only have 2 elevators and one broke the last day we were there. Location was great.

We decided to give this establishment a try after booking a couple of concerts at the Eagles Ballroom. I think parking in their ramp was 20 a night. We had a late night pizza in the bar and it was fantastic. The drinks were somewhat pricey but it was a decent pour. We will definitely be back.
