Ambassador Saigon Hotel

The breakfast buffet is good with lots to offer. The sitting area is very nice. Come early because some of the food were gone an hour before closing and they were making some more. The servers are good and attentive. Be nice and leave them a little tip. Their wages are not high here and they work hard so please be kind to others. They appreciate it. As for the room it needs a little update but it is clean and centrally located to many things and good for the money.

Loved it. Staff friendly, spoke good English. Only 1 reception staff struggled to understand. Door boys very helpful with great English,good direction. Even though the 12 floor happy hour looked very uninviting beers @ 45000 for 2 was well priced. Breakfast was great variety and plenty, Coffee was hot not like at the Fusion where everything was cold. Room was enough . Good hotel for short stay . Location fantastic we walked everywhere. The Indian Restraunt across the road was amazing and food was so delicious Would go back again and again.sorry can't remember the name. Thank you to all at the Ambassador.

Left after finding bugs in multiple rooms we tried. Were supposed to get our money back but after endless calls, texts back-and-forth and explanations we got only half the money back and left it there. Lot of polite and professional promises, but not the actions and result to match that

Very good location, sad that you have to pay extra for the room with a window. So we did, but the sheets there were a nightmare. A lot of yellow stains and a lot of different hair remains within the levels of the sheets. Found at least 3 bed bugs. Got bit. When we’ve explained the situation to the staff, they were supportive and gave another room. Not sure if it was same standard, or an upgrade, but it smelled of smoke, despite the sign ‘do not smoke’. Called the staff- they said it is a smoking room. It was an odd stay in this hotel to be fair.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean quiet and comfortable rooms. Good location with a lot of tourist attractions in the area. The breakfast buffet food was okay with a view of HCM city. Good hot water and water pressure. Very happy with our stay. For the price we paid the experience was above our expectations.

Ok-, Rooms without window, not really cleaning but rather rearranging your room. Breakfast ok. But at checkout you have to wait until they checked if you stole anything. In ALL of the hotels I have been to, the checkout was done by handing over the keys. Also it was the very first hotel I ran out of toilet paper. And I am not a "heavy user". If I am coming to Saigon again I would definitely look for another one.

It is fair pricing. But most of rooms do not have windows. But the location of hotel is in District 1 so it is easy to get access to foreign street and market. The staffs can speak English and they serve good breakfast compare to their price.

was really impressed with this hotel its nothing flash but the rooms and large which the tv is old and needs updating the variety of channels in english was great and the staff all friendly and spoke good enough English. the bathroom was large however shower over the bath and the pressure was not very good and the water never seemd to stay in the bath. we managed to walk to lots of places and eating areas, the hotel will also organize tours both oublic and private at the desk which we found helpful, had lunch up the top, view and food was good, breakfast was your usual nd pretty average but sustaining. would stay again as room was clean and staff friendly
