We stayed in Ambassador Transit hotel for a night in the family room. The room was much more spacious than the rooms in Singapore city itself, rooms were sound proofed I believe as there were no noise even in the busy airport. Rooms were so clean and service was good. Complimentary breakfast was provided but it was average, not much option.

I still remember that day—April 23. I had a long layover, and I was completely exhausted, alone, and most importantly, I was sick. Traveling by myself, I was so worried and didn’t know how I would make it through the night. But everything changed when I checked in at this hotel. To the staff member ( a lady) working the midnight shift that day, I wish I could remember your name. I’m so sorry I forgot it. You were truly a lifesaver. You showed so much kindness and care when I needed it the most. Being sick and alone in a new place was overwhelming, but your help, your calm presence, and your compassion gave me the comfort and support I desperately needed. I didn’t get the chance to thank you properly when I checked out, as someone else was on shift. But if by any chance you ever come across this review, I just want to say: Thank you! . From the bottom of my heart. The service was excellent, and as an international traveler, I found the hotel to be quite affordable and worth every dollar . I would absolutely recommend it to others especially because of the kind people who work here. Thank you again for that day. I did write your name down, but somewhere along the way, I lost it. Still, I’ll never forget what you did for me.

I had a 9-hour transit at Singapore Airport from 12 a.m. to 9 a.m., so this hotel's availability was a godsend. The room was modern, clean, and quiet; however, it was super cold, and the thermostat was not adjustable. During check-in, I asked for a bathrobe for my wife, and the receptionist said yes, but it never came. I called the front desk, but the connection was bad, so I decided to walk there instead. On the way, I walked past the maintenance room and saw a couple of workers working there, so I asked for a bathrobe. They were very friendly, so I asked them how to adjust the thermostat, and they told me that the room's temperature is centrally controlled, and there was nothing I could do to change it. Upon hearing that, I asked for extra blankets and bathrobes to put on when we went to sleep because all my extra clothes were in the checked bags. The sheets were clean and odorless; I used them to cover my face to keep warm. The included breakfast was decent. You must book at least 6 hours; any additional hours will be S$25.

Granted, it's a bit pricey but the rest I had was priceless. I booked for 6 hours after midnight between long haul flights and had a good sleep and a refreshing shower. A meal at their lounge was also included. Staff was also accommodating.

The buffet food in the lounge is beyond pathetic. The most basic lounge and food I've ever seen in an airport lounge in my life. The room was nice, if you only want to make use of the lounge, don't bother wasting your money.

Terrible experience. I had booked for a full night stay. When I arrived, they insisted that I had only paid for 6 hours. The rest of my payment was to the booking agency, they said. I had booked through their website. The total cost was A$465. A lot of money for a very ordinary hotel. After lots of protests from us, they relented but it felt like they were doing us a favour. Awful experience after flying in. Next time, we will pass immigration and stay elsewhere. Would be much easier.

Very conveniently located at the airside of the terminal after security. Charge by the hour so may not be the most economical option if you have a transit that is overly long (12hrs +), otherwise it provides all the basic you need for a good rest and shower before a long flight. Stay of more than 6 hours also come with a free bento box, else it is SG$20 per box, which simply isn't worth it considering there are plenty of excellent restaurants or eateries right at the airport. The room is clean and basic, bit dark and could use a bit more lights, and with no windows. Just have to remember you are paying for the convenience and location, not luxury or you won't be able to justify the cost.

Yelp
I was pleasantly suprised how nice this hotel in the airport is. It's Changi Airport which is probably the nicest airport in the world so it makes sense. We had a pretty long layover on a connecting flight from Manila so we booked a night here to shower and get some sleep. Rates were pretty cheap and it certainly beats staying at a Holiday Inn lol. This one is in a ideal location as the movie theater and a lounge are nextdoor. They even offer a free breakfast. SCORE! It's super clean and the beds are comfortable. Liked the rain shower too. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling through Changi Airport.

Yelp
I was very happy with this transit hotel. I had two long layovers (one 14 hour one and a 9 hour one) passing through Singapore. The ambassador transit hotel in terminal 3 is perfect for a long layover. It is clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms have a great rain shower (perfect for a weary traveler). I booked on hotels.com for a great rate. On my way I booked a 12 hour slot and on my way back I booked a 6 hour slot. Was upgraded to a queen suite (from a single) which was a welcome surprise.
