We stayed 4 nights at the Ambassadors Residence in Chania. It is in a great location on the waterfront, and we stayed in a room with a view of the water. The highlight of our stay was the staff. We are sure we interacted with all of the reception staff and they were all warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast was at a restaurant around the corner. We had the same server each morning who provided wonderful service and remembered our coffee choices. Their Cretan Omelette is one of the best we ever had; but save room for the chocolate filled donuts. One tip: there are steps at the hotel entrance. If you will need help with your luggage, call reception-they will gladly assist you.

A fantastic location in reach of the old town and lots of great dining options. It’s in a pedestrian area but you don’t need a car. Lots to see and do nearby. ||We booked some trips and found not having to drive added to the relaxing nature of the trip. ||The room was lovely. Good views of the harbour. Staff on reception were lovely and came up with some good suggestions for dinner. ||Breakfast was fine in the restaurant below. We worried that it might be noisy but although you could hear music a couple of nights it didn’t stop us from getting a good night. ||The shower was good. Plenty of towels and nice toiletries. ||Thoroughly recommend.

Really nice boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and beautiful and the staff is welcoming and helpful. No additional amenities on the property aside from your room, but for a small hotel, that’s expected. One con (not directed at the hotel itself) but if you book through almost any third party site, it will advertise parking for this location. This is not true. There is no parking at the hotel and it is very difficult to find any at all in Chania. I would highly recommend skipping the rental and using the hotel’s taxi service.

For €280 per night, we had a room overlooking a public staircase, from which tourists have a bird's eye view of the room, making it impossible to open the curtains. Breakfast isn't served on-site, but in the tavern next door. There isn't a reception.|Contrary to what's advertised on Tripadvisor, the hotel offers no parking or luggage service, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to park in Chania during the summer, making access to the hotel a nightmare. In short, disastrous value for money and deplorable customer service.|Avoid.

A marvellous understated hotel , amazing location in the town , with beautiful views . |The restaurant downstairs serves breakfast . The staff can't do enough for you - lovely eggs each morning . |In the evenings , they serve a selection of excellent steaks . Staff are well informed , and really on it . |Our first time in Chania , but it won't be the last .

I don’t want to say much so it doesn’t get spoiled. Everything about it is great. Looking forward to go back. The best cream bougatsa (not sure about spelling) is served downstairs

Fantastic location. Very professional staff. I enjoyed the breakfast. Our room, the Wood room had a fabulous view of sunrise and sunset from its little balcony and a great view of the harbor from in the room. The soundproofing was great. Even though the harbor was very crowded and busy late into the evening we did not hear a thing. It is in a pedestrian only zone so be prepared to walk a block or so upon arrival. Discreet door, ring the doorbell for entry.

WOW .. what can I say but simply brilliant ! My husband and I stayed for 11 nights in this gorgeous boutique hotel and it certainly didn’t let us down. From the minute that George ( our hotel transfer) picked us up from the airport to the our fabulous welcome from Maria and ongoing hospitality from all of the team, thank you Katrina, Heias and lefteris . We absolutely loved our stay in the fabulous ceramic suite and we will be back for sure. Top location in the harbour .. stunning views and great bars and restaurants .. if you have never been to Chania .. book this place .. Eddie and Faye - England
