Amber Angkor Villa Hotel & Spa, Siem Reap

I have been staying at Amber Angkor Villa & Spa for several years when on my annual trip to Siem Reap Cambodia. The Wat Bo location is excellent and very convenient to town, either by walking or via a short tuk tuk drive, however there is also a very wide selection of restaurants and cafes, etc very close by. The hotel is very clean, very well run, and the staff and management can not do enough to make sure we are happy and comfortable during our stay. Rooms are spacious and always well serviced. The pool area is lovely and has a well stocked bar area available for relaxing after a long day out. Breakfast has a wide range of selections and other menu/food options are reasonably priced, of good quality and available all day long. Wifi service is available throughout the hotel.The Amber Angkor hotel is highly recommended by this repeat visitor! 5 stars from me!

I was accused at 6am in the lobby of stealing a towel. I asked staff to check my bags to clear it up, and they refused. Ten minutes later they said everything was fine. Being falsely accused like that was unprofessional and unacceptable. Housekeeping was also poor. The room was not properly cleaned, the bed was not made, and towels were not replaced despite leaving a tip. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is in the city The riverside market, pub street and night market are at walkable distance. There is smile mart and 7/11 nearby. Small food joints around. Tuktuk are available right outside of the hotel. In a reasonable fare of 1 or 2 USD, they can take you to night market/pub street. The staff is helpful and quick to respond. I called them for ice and mentioned ankle pain Within minute, one lady came to room with big ice pack. The breakfast spread is ok types. And it starts at 6am. In all, a good place to stay while exploring siem reap.

We stayed here for 5 days in November 2025. Nice and clean hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The riverside, night market and pub street are at walkable distance and still the hotel is quiet. You can not expect a great view from the room or hotel. But that's not the point when you are visiting Siem reap. So it doesn't matter. |The temples are few kilometers away , hardly 20 minutes drive. The food is ok. |Overall, a good value for money stay option.

The hotel is very nice with a nice swimming pool. The service is good and staff extremely polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms are a good size and the bed large and comfortable. The breakfast is fine but fruit selection could be better though. The bar at the swimming pool has friendly staff but the hard rock, metal music selection at times gets too much.

Everything worked as intented, breakfast was delicious. They also have exceptional customer service with great and friendly attitude towards guests. Thank you Kong Kea and the Team for your help!

A real surprise to arrive at Amber Angkor and discover the old Frangipani Hotel. Nicely kept and expanded. The srvice is good and room price is excellent value for money. Breakfast is also very well provided for and only 5 dollars per person. My room had a noisy little bar fridge and annoying water pump outside but on the whole it is a very pleasant stay.

Amber Angkor Villa Hotel and Spa , The location was excellent—right in the middle of the city, surrounded by 24-hour shopping and restaurants. The hotel features a lovely poolside area and offers plenty of available rooms, Lunch box take away and meeting room. Breakfast and the bar by the pool were perfect for relaxing. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Choose Amber Angkor Villa Hotel and Spa for your stay and enjoy a comfortable, relaxing experience. Bravo
