We had an amazing stay at Amber Angkor Villa Hotel & Spa, which truly stood out as a highlight of our trip. The gorgeous hotel provides a peaceful haven with convenient access to all the exciting attractions in Siem Reap.||||The warm, attentive service from the staff made our experience even more special. From the moment we checked in to getting local tips, they always made sure we felt comfortable and cared for, truly reflecting Cambodia's famous kindness.||||Our spacious, spotless room, decorated beautifully with a mix of Khmer charm and modern touches, was the perfect place to relax. The private hot tub and comfy bedding added a touch of luxury, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.||||The facilities were fantastic. We loved the saltwater pool nestled among lush gardens—so peaceful. The spa treatments left us feeling refreshed, and the restaurant served delicious local and international dishes.||||Situated in a quiet area, the hotel is just a short distance from vibrant spots like Pub Street, the Old Market, and the incredible Angkor temples—giving us both easy access and a tranquil atmosphere.||||We wholeheartedly recommend Amber Angkor Villa Hotel & Spa for anyone planning a trip to Siem Reap. It’s not just a place to stay, but a truly enriching experience that we will cherish.

A great Please be back in Siem Reap with a business trip. I was recommended to stay at the Amber Hotel because it is close to Pub Street and the business area. Many shops and restaurants are near the hotel. First impress me on check-in. I was welcomed with a cool towel and welcome drink, even late in the evening while traveling from another province. I was sent to room 107 on the first floor, and the room was so nice with a very clean and comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff was very friendly for turning down my bed in the evening. From breakfast to the pool, it was amazing; the staff was helpful and assisted me with whatever I needed during the evening time. With some friends, overall, I can rate this hotel as a great place to stay on your vacation with family. Best staff service and best location. Well done to all Amber staff. Thank you.

While this hotel has an old colonial feel and is fairly well situated for the centre of Siem Reap (about 800 metres) and while there are definitely plus points, there were two main drawbacks in my view. |First the breakfast was fairly poor. The coffee was unpleasant, the fruit juice, weak and the fresh fruit, limited and fairly tasteless. The freshly made scrambled eggs were good. The restaurant in the evening was surprisingly good and fairly priced. All the meals were tasty and my fish amok very good indeed.|The other problem was with the air conditioning in our room which was poor. On the first night we complained and were given a fan which did the trick. The staff said they would mend it but there was no sign of any adjustment. I feel the hotel should upgrade this. The room and bed were otherwise fine. The pool and bar were very pleasant and a necessity after two excellent days around the temples

Fantastic stay at Amber Angkor Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and always helpful. The service was excellent, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The spa, pool, and overall atmosphere were perfect for relaxing after exploring the temples. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Siem Reap!

This hotel is getting tired now. We had 3 rooms and all were different, some had has some modernisation with double glazing, new AC and modern shower room, the worst still had wooden windows, a very tired and dirty bathroom and very poor AC. The breakfast options are a bit limited, they do have an egg station though so you can get fresh omelette or eggs. The drink options were poor too, watered down juices and the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. One of the issues we encountered was a lack of English language, they were constantly saying they didn’t understand what we were asking for, or maybe that was just an excuse. The bar was ok, reasonable prices but they ran out of Diet Coke and when we asked if they could get some more they didn’t understand…. A shame because we would have spent much more time in the hotel and around the pool if they had had any diet drinks.
