Small room next to the train station, ideal for few nights in Luleå. The hotel is closed to many bus lines which gives you the opportunity to go everywhere around the city easily. People working here are really nice, there are hot drinks for free in the lobby, luggage service if you need, and the breakfast is really good and contains everything you need for a proper start of the day. There were some issues with the room though. The bathroom has to be fixed, the shower had flow issues

We only stayed one night and can recommend it for the first night after arriving in Lulea, or on your way back to the airport. The room was simple and small, same as the bathroom. The furniture is worn and reminds be more of a hostel than a hotel. The bathroom was in an equally used state and generally everything could use some remodeling/refurbishing. The breakfast was very good, it offered almost everything one could ask for and we have no complaints here. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is free coffee/tea in the entry hall. Parking costs extra but the cost is reasonable for a night.

It was very cozy and beautiful Swedish hotel. I loved it very much and it was way cheaper than I expected in Sweden. The breakfast was everything. It was just amazing service they had and I would love to comeback again. I would definitely recommend to lot of Asians. It would be nicer if the reception is working longer and didn’t need to call in Swedish number. But other than that it’s very nice hotel I would recommend ❤️

A good hotel in a beautiful building. Rooms were nice and there was nice bathrooms. They were though hot during summer without AC. Service and breakfast were good. Yard was under conatruction so we can't say much about that, but the location was nice relatively close to centre.

Nice price. Large bed, nice room. Bathroomfloor was not clean. Ok breakfast. Very good hotel for a small price.

This hotel should have more stars. The room was great, and the breakfast super good with top quality spreads, hams etc, and the most crunchy/soft bread rolls you can imagine. Or close to it I guess. The staff are overworked though.

This hotel is close to the bus and train stations, & also not far to the town centre.|Quite an old-fashioned wooden building, and not particularly large.|The impression I got was that some money needed to be spent to bring it up to a more modern standard, and that view was reinforced by my room.||That's not to run the place down. My room was clean and comfortable, and not too small. I had a decent night's sleep.|The breakfast was the usual continental affair, and did me ok.|There is a lift to the first floor.||I have to say a word of praise for the receptionist, who was very pleasant and smiley, both at night and morning.||This is a very handy place to lay your head and it was good value too.

Of the three hotels I've stayed at in Luleå, I liked Amber the best. Small and with a homey, low-key atmosphere, I found it soothing. The location's super-convenient for train travellers. The downtown shops are a 10-minute walk in one direction and the Södra Hamn waterfront area a few blocks in the opposite direction (which was a big deal for me because I was there on holiday to skate on the Isban). In the room, I especially liked that the refrigerator wasn't crammed with stuff, so I could store my snacks and beers easily, and the refrigerator was more or less silent. No hot food at the breakfast, but the selection of cold chow is satisfactory.
