From orchestrating a champagne sabering at our bungalow for my birthday to anticipating needs we didn’t even know we had, he elevated our stay to something truly special. It felt as though he was dedicated solely to us, and that level of personalized care will stay with us forever.|Vanessa, a kind and gracious manager, ensured every request was met with warmth and sincerity. Her gentle presence and genuine concern for our comfort made us feel incredibly well cared for.|Our private bone-fishing and conch diving excursion with Kaden and John was an absolute highlight — the perfect mix of professional guidance, local insight, humor, and relaxation. They embody everything guests hope for on a Caribbean adventure: skilled, laid-back, and a joy to spend time with.|Pedro set a new standard for romantic private dining. Our birthday dinner was beautifully executed, intimate, and extraordinarily memorable….arguably one of the most romantic dinners we’ve shared. We were thrilled to also enjoy his company behind the bar, where he is just as delightful.|And Jason deserves special praise for making us feel like we were returning home rather than just checking into a resort. His warmth and hospitality radiated throughout our stay.|The island itself is breathtaking…powder-soft beaches, crystalline turquoise water, and nature that feels almost unreal. We watched sea turtles glide along the shoreline and spotted pink flamingos nearly every day, adding a touch of magic to an already dreamlike setting.|While these individuals shined brightly, the truth is the entire Ambergris Cay team is exceptional….from restaurant staff and housekeeping to excursion coordinators and transportation crew. Every interaction reflected kindness, professionalism, and quiet luxury.|Ambergris Cay is stunning on its own, but it is the people who make this island extraordinary. Ambergris Cay is pure paradise. The service is flawless, the island is breathtaking, and every detail feels effortlessly luxurious. From the private beaches to the beautiful villas and incredible food, everything exceeded my expectations. We loved having a golf cart to explore the island! Our butler, James, has the sweetest and most upbeat personality that left us in a positive mood after each encounter. The room was kept exceptionally clean throughout our entire stay. The spa was stunning and the massage was fantastic! We left completely relaxed and very grateful for the experience!

Ambergris Cay – December 1–7, 2025 My husband and I have really come to love smaller, boutique-style properties for their relaxed, quiet locations—no crowds, no buffets—just delicious à la carte restaurants from Michelin-star chefs. We also enjoy a private villa with our own swim-out pool, either overlooking or directly on the beach. My husband found Ambergris Cay in February, and I was immediately drawn to the spectacular amenities on this private island off Turks and Caicos. We did a lot of research, and for what we were looking for in this vacation, Ambergris Cay was the perfect choice. From the moment the booking was made through our travel agent, Jonique, their Concierge Specialist assisted my husband with every question and request, ensuring he was heard and well taken care of. Arriving on their private Cessna, we were made to feel welcome immediately. The warmth of the staff is felt the moment you step off the plane. The grounds and facilities were immaculately clean throughout our stay, with clear attention to detail in every space. We stayed in Villa 17, the furthest villa for added privacy—a request my husband made that the team was able to accommodate. Having our own electric golf cart to explore the island made the experience even more special. The week unfolded beautifully—the weather, the accommodations, and the people who truly love what they do. We loved every moment. The food was excellent; while we would have enjoyed a bit more variety, the team was always happy to accommodate special requests. We had the main pool to ourselves for several days and were graciously allowed to play our own music while enjoying lunch and quiet time there. Samuel stood out for his attentiveness and warmth—we truly enjoyed getting to know him. James, our ambassador (butler), was incredibly attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our stay stress-free and fun. Evelyn, one of our restaurant attendants, was engaging, funny, and memorable—we even shared in an important milestone in her life. Jerome, our pickleball instructor, was patient and kind, especially in the heat, and inspired us to join a club back home. Chantel and Chantal, our fellow Canadians, added even more joy to our experience with their warmth and energy. Marlin and Keno made the Hobie Cat lessons and sunset cruise unforgettable, and Marvin and Pedro kept spirits high at the bar. For travellers seeking a private, boutique, luxury experience, the value is absolutely there. While this is not a budget vacation, everything—from the service to the accommodations—fully reflected what we paid for. This vacation came at a very special time in our lives, and it marked the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. We are incredibly grateful and look forward to returning. Tips Bring bug repellent or a Thermacell for evening dining if bugs tend to like you. Bring snorkel gear to the Tiki Bar area—we saw starfish and small fish. Water shoes are helpful when the tide is low. Book excursions as soon as you arrive, or before you arrive, as availability fills quickly.

She made every effort to ensure he was heard and that his requests could be honoured.||Upon arriving at Ambergris Cay on their private Cessna from the main airport, you are made to feel welcome and appreciated. The warmth of the staff is felt the moment you step off the plane.||The grounds and facilities were immaculately clean from the very beginning. Every space felt thoughtfully maintained, from the bathrooms to the paths and shared areas, with clear attention to detail throughout the property.||We stayed in Villa 17, the furthest of the villas, for the most privacy. This was a request my husband made, and fortunately, the team was able to accommodate his request. Everyone has their own electric golf cart to use on the island, and it made it all that much more special of an experience.||The week unfolded beautifully. The weather, the accommodations, the team of people who love what they do. We absolutely loved every moment.||The food was great, but we would have loved a little more variety, perhaps taking the ingredients on hand and offering different options more frequently. This was our only recommendation when it came to the food. Otherwise, if you wanted something, they were more than happy to accommodate your request.||We had the main pool to ourselves for three days, once we had the opportunity to enjoy it. The team was so gracious and allowed us to play our own music while we enjoyed this very special place on the resort all to ourselves. We know that it was due to the time of the season, but we took full advantage of it by having lunch there and enjoying time alone while getting to know some of the staff.||Samuel is the one to be highlighted here. He was very attentive, and we really enjoyed getting to know him while we relaxed by, and danced in, the pool.||There were many other team members to highlight, and name by name.||James—our ambassador (butler)—was extremely attentive, helpful, responsive, and truly cared to make our entire stay one that was stress-free, relaxing, and fun too. Thank you so very much, James. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.||Evelyn—she was one of our main restaurant attendants. She was funny, engaging, attentive, and she truly cared too. We got to know her a little better than some of the others, and we got emotionally engaged in a very important milestone in her life. We wish you all the best with your first home, Evelyn! Be sure to send me pictures and updates!||Jerome—he was our pickleball instructor. My husband and I had not played pickleball, but we wanted to learn. Jerome was a fantastic instructor, patient and kind, especially since the heat was a little too much for me during our lessons. He gave us ample breaks and always encouraged us to take our time, get in the shade, and he would continue his lesson while we cooled down. Thank you, Jerome! We have joined a club back home, and we look forward to taking what you taught us into our future pickleball experiences.||Chantel and Chantal—our fellow Canadians. They too were part of the restaurant team, and they were so bubbly and fun. Being from Canada, we did have a lot more to share and relate to. In fact, Chantal’s family lives an hour from us, which made it all that much more special. We absolutely look forward to returning as early as next year.||Tips:|If bugs tend to like you, I suggest bringing bug repellent in cream form or even a Thermacell that you can place at your feet while dining. I didn’t bring mine the first night and ended up with quite a few bug bites. Nothing serious, but I did need to apply topical cream for the itchiness. Once I brought my Thermacell on the other nights, it was perfectly fine.||Bring your snorkel gear to the Tiki Bar. My husband brought his on our vacation but left it in the room. If you want to snorkel, be sure to bring it with you to the Tiki Bar area, as we saw starfish and other small fish there.||Bring water shoes. When the tide is low, the beach can be very shallow and soft, and having water shoes makes it much more enjoyable.||Book your excursions as soon as you arrive. We really wanted to do a boat tour or fishing tour, but they were already booked. I would have preferred that over the sunset cruise, as we had spectacular sunsets every night from our own villa.||I’d also like to add that the property was immaculately clean. Not once did we feel that the grounds, bathrooms, or any part of the property were anything less than exceptionally well maintained. The attention to detail was evident everywhere.

Absolutely beautiful unspoiled paradise on Ambergris Cay. Food and service excellent. Shervin was exceptional in taking care of excursions and minor issues with golf cart. My husband and I both had birthdays during our 5 days there. Shervin went out of his way with surprising us with Birthday balloons, decorations and treats. He made our birthdays extra special. Bungalow view, heated plunge pool, and outdoor shower were heavenly. We can’t wait to return.

This was a wonderful experience!!! The staff was all amazing and the island was beautiful! Clay, our island host, was very helpful and friendly throughout the whole trip. There are so many fun activities, great food, and relaxing views. I would 100% recommend this place to anybody looking for a luxury vacation.

Perfect getaway - fabulous location - wonderful hosts - mega VIP treatment. Personal Concierge Chervin was a true delight and made out trip a dream. This is a place we will return to over and over for a unique experience. Great staff, wonderful place.

Review Ambergris Cay is such a wonderful resort! We had the pleasure of experiencing the sunset cruise, couples massage, personal bonfire dinner over the water, glass bottom kayaking and the hangover bar twice! The chef makes fresh and beautiful meals, and the array of options never disappoints. Having our own golf cart gave us the freedom to explore and plan our day on our own time! Luis was extra helpful during our personalized bonfire dinner. He assisted my partner with executing an extra special surprise. Along with his personality and friendliness, he really elevated the experience! Pedro had such a bubbly and fun personality at the hangover bar. He was one of the reasons we decided to do this experience twice! He suggested many wonderful pictures and videos that are now memories for a lifetime! We truly believe his talents in this field could be appreciated and executed with the marketing team. We would not have asked for a better island host than Victor! He was truly remarkable in helping my partner plan an extra special and personal surprise. He helped us personalize our entire stay to our needs and requests to make every experience seamless! Ayu from the spa and wellness team was so kind and helpful during our massage, but especially during our 3 morning yoga classes. She caters her teaching methods perfectly and will come and personally assist and guide you for your comfort and skill level. She made every morning bright and enjoyable. After talking to multiple other couples, we all agreed we would return!
