Not overly impressed with the Hotel or staff. Upon arrival, the Lady who was working the bar and reception was not welcoming or friendly. To access the elevator you have to go up a short set of stairs, which for anyone with accessibility/mobility issues isn't practical. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We
were given a set of keys..one for our room and the other for the rear entrance to the hotel that we were told to use after 10 pm as the main entrance was closed at that time. Our room was a quadruple, with 4 single beds, which were comfortable enough. The
decor was underwhelming, old-fashioned, and very basic. The kettle in our room had a note stuck to it saying it was broken! ( why didn't they replace it with a working kettle?), there wasn't a fridge or any tea/ coffee facilities either. The room was also extremely hot. There was a fan in the corner of the room which was dented on the side although it worked. We went down to the bar area in the evening, which was lacking any atmosphere. The furniture was a hodgepodge of outdoor fake wicker seating and other pieces that weren't cohesive but quite tacky. The same Lady served us and again had no personality, made us feel very unwelcome and quite an inconvenience. Breakfast was included, again all of the staff were very unfriendly and breakfast was very disappointing with a small selection. I would NOT recommended this hotel nor would I ever want to stay here again.
