Very cool vibe and ambience inside the restaurant! The Aperol spritz was great and we shared a small pizza and pasta. The staff was also friendly

My family and I have been traveling through Switzerland, exploring various cities and restaurants, and this has hands down been the best dining experience so far. The brunch was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. The homemade pasta was even better than what we had in Milan just a few days ago! I can’t recommend this place enough — as you can see from my photo, I wiped my plate clean.

Ambrosi offers a delightful Italian dining experience in a unique historic setting. Located within Zurich's old aqueducts, the restaurant's beautiful exposed brick walls create a warm, atmospheric ambiance. Our group of eight was comfortably seated upstairs, which provided a lovely vantage point to take in the restaurant's charming interior. The pasta dishes were outstanding, demonstrating authentic Italian flavors and preparation. While the wine list isn't extensive, it's thoughtfully curated to suit various preferences and complements the menu perfectly. The space handled our larger group with ease, making it an excellent choice for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The combination of historic architecture, quality Italian cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere makes Ambrosi a standout dining destination in Zurich.

Good food, very friendly and polite staff. Came at a quiet time so N/A for atmosphere - although the jazz music vibe was also good. Will come again 👍🏻

We stumbled upon Ambrosi at the viadukt shopping area and honesty we were impressed with the experience. I loved their homemade pasta, drink selection, and dessert. Pricing was very reasonable as well! Lastly, the ambiance of Ambrosi is very nice and utilizes the structure of the viadukt in a cool way that provides a very cozy interior.

Very nice, warm pop-up restaurant with Italian dishes, a range of wines and efficient kitchen/service. Great to share large portions of pasta in a group at decent prices.

The atmosphere is nice but I was disappointed by the food portion size, I ordered the moussaka and the portion was super small compare to how it was a few years ago. I was still hungry after eating that so I complained to the waiter, they did not offer a solution about the food but they suggested desert. Bottomline,I won't try it again.

I stopped by Ambrosi for breakfast on my way to the train station following my night in Zurich, and I'm a fan! Open- but not popular- for breakfast, the server went out of her way to serve up a bowl of muesli, which I appreciated. Furthermore, it was accompanied by several types of fresh fruit, which was nice. The coffee wasn't bad, either.

This is cute and cozy yet quite trendy cafe. Not so big, not too small. Very casual outdoor seating, then cool high top bar seating and then sleek lounge seating inside. Now they do have World Cup viewing but you can just come for cafe or drink with small bites. All cafe priced same at 5 CHF!! Daily specials including lasagna or pasta is around 15 CHF. Not bad :) PS: Very clean and nice bathroom :)

Cool place and amazing interior design. I went on Sunday, and there was a self service menu, with different soups, main dishes and deserts. Perfectly exposed at the entrance. The staff are very kind. Highly recommended if you visit Zurich :)

This is a really cool place that has an incredibly cool designed interior, as well as great outdoor seating, although seating is limited outside. I have had the vegetable lasagna a couple of times here after it has been recommended to me and can just forward the recommendation. The only downside to the great tasting dishes at this spot is that they are a bit on the smaller side, so don't come super hungry.. It was not super busy the times I ate here, but each time there has been fast and satisfying service.

I usually take the little pizza called pizette(I believe). For the price it is very good food with a little salad on the side. The restaurant is very cozy and nicely decorated. It is also a nice place for a drink.

Thought I found a winner here with the Euro swanky-ness notched down to a 3 (of 10)... Nice enough staff, etc., etc... Things turned sour or in my case way out-of-control salty after I ordered the basic pesto pasta. There didn't seem to be enough water in the world to keep my blood pressure in check.
