Ambrosia Restaurant in Oia, Santorini, offers an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly captures the essence of Greek cuisine. Set against the iconic caldera views, the setting is as breathtaking as the food itself. The menu features a refined take on traditional Greek flavors, with standout dishes like the grilled octopus, which is tender and flavorful, and the lamb shank, slow-cooked to perfection. The fresh seafood options, paired with local ingredients and herbs, are equally impressive. Every dish is beautifully presented, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and passion for quality. Paired with a glass of Santorini’s signature Assyrtiko wine, the meal becomes a true celebration of the island’s culinary heritage. With its romantic atmosphere and exceptional food, Ambrosia is a must-visit for anyone in Oia looking to savor the flavors of Greece while soaking in the island’s stunning beauty.

We had a wonderful romantic dinner at Ambrosia restaurant. Fond memories of this restaurant since our first visit to Santorini in 2015. The night time view was amazing. Our server, Thanos, was most gracious. Very professional and attentive. Treated us like family. The meals were excellent. Everything was delicious and artfully presented. This is absolutely the best restaurant on the caldera.

Husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there on this once-in-a-lifetime trip to Greece, including Santorini. I made reservations two months in advance so we could get best seating. Understanding how much land costs there, especially on Oia side of town, we had to pay for the ambiance. Overall, the service and the view were excellent. This restaurant oversees the ocean and other Oia-famous white buildings with blue domes. Food was also delicious and nicely decorated. Side note: to keep your reservation, each patron must order €75 worth of food. Once you make the reservation, this restaurant email has already warned you. Plus you'll need to reconfirm the reservation a day ahead. Thank you Ambrosia for an unforgettable experience!

Excellent service with beautiful Aegean Sea and Oia views. Probably the most magical dinner restaurant we enjoyed while staying in the area. Reserve in advance and re-confirm 2 days prior. If you get there right when they open for dinner (6:30pm), you have a good chance of getting a table on the balcony for the best views. Oh and the Santorini salad and Baklava were so delicious! Hope to return one day.

We came here for our anniversary week dinner with our 13 year old son. They sat us on the left edge with a great view of the caldera. For appetizers we had Ambrosia Tarts and they were the best. I had sea bass as their fish of the day and it was delicious and well prepared. My wife got the seafood pasta and my son got the steak and they bot loved it. I gave extra tip to our waiter for such a fun date. Dessert included Vinsanto wine on the house 😎😎😎

A culinary journey awaits you at Ambrosia. As you walk down the stairs of this beautiful picturesque restaurant, the stunning view immediately takes your breathe away. We had the pleasure to meet and speak to the gracious owner and the wonderful staff. You can expect nothing but perfection. We started out with the lobster soup, which was divine, then the sea bream ceviche and the tuna tataki - everything was absolutely delicious !! The presentation and the taste…mouth watering. The octopus was the most unique and is a must !! We then had the beef filet and the shrimp risotto and the red snapper everything was exceptional !!

Beautiful view while enjoying a great dinner at this cozy restaurant. The location is fantastic, but the space is at a premium. The nice hosts were able to accommodate our request for a table with a great view, so reserve yours well in advance. The service was good, we didn't feel neglected and they did a reasonable job of keeping the tourists away from the area below. The food was excellent. All courses were innovative, full of great flavors and visually appealing. I recommend the lamb, it was delicious. Also, don't skip the desert, it was sublime! Overall, 4.6 stars, definitely recommended.
