Ambury Regional Park

Great place for a family outing and to entertain the young ones with the farm animals they have in the fenced off paddocks. If you just want some time to clear your head and go for a walk maybe even a bike ride with coastal views, this is perfect. Little to no hills, and mostly flat. Ideal for everyone and all fitness levels. The Terrain may be the only issue, but again, far from extreme and difficult

Stopped by to check up on Timothy. Seems to be healthy and content even without females nearby. Didn't fan for me, doesn't accept bribes. All the other farm animals were hiding (January) but Timothy and his squad provided plenty of entertainment. Gorgeous, peaceful grounds.

A lovely park to picnic at with lots of green space. The walking track has nice scenic views and is great for cycling around. It is all gravel though so wear good walking shoes and probably no good for a road bike with tyres that are for smooth city streets as it can be pretty bumpy. The doc camp is also nicely laid out with nice green spaces, toilets (tidy and secure long drops), and other tracks and areas to check out. A gas bbq is available when camping. It appeared to be free as we couldn't find any slots to insert coins. For the kids there are farm animals you can get up close with, no feeding them though. Lots of young families were enjoying this when we visited. Highly recommend this park for a day out with the kids, a short (basic) camp, or for a nice scenic walk or ride.

A relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for those who live around Central Auckland. No entrance fee. Kids get to interact with farm animals. Nice place to wind down for a walk and enjoy the greenery.

Peaceful and beautiful walks for all ages. The farm animals are super cute and friendly. If you feel adventurous, there are one to two hours walks to the foreshore.

This is a family friendly farm. We used to take kids here for the family day. It’s also the start for Watercare coastal walkway. There is a barn here plus two car parks, a shelter, toilets, BBQ spots and camping grounds. There are farm animals such as sheep, lamb and horses.

Came to see the baby lamb and pony. They are all cute! We also went on a walk around the area
