“Ambury Adventures: Where the Sheep Roam Free” Visited Ambury Regional Park on a cool breezy day, peaceful, open, and full of friendly (and slightly judgy) sheep. The walking trails are flat and easy, perfect for a calm stroll with green views, farm animals, and that “getaway without leaving the city” kind of vibe. Great spot to bring a picnic, clear your mind, or accidentally photobomb a sheep. Parking was easy, toilets were clean, and the air? Fresh enough to bottle. “Logan was here… making friends with sheep and silence.” 🐑🌬️

The Ambury walking track is beautiful and most stunning just before sunset! The track is well maintained and clean and provides some of the most picturesque views of Ambury and Kiwi Esplanade, Māngere. The track loops from Kiwi Esplanade around to Ambury Farm and back to the main road. It’s safe, however, I wouldn’t recommend doing the bush walk alone in the evenings as it’s quite remote.

Great place to explore. Walking along the Manukau at both high and low tide is exceptional. How lucky we are to have beautiful shores n Auckland. Ambury Park is an education for everyone to visit the animals.

Such a great place. Best to go in the morning when animals are out. My little one enjoyed it a lot. Good facilities and easy to access. Car park can be difficult when busy but plenty of parking in paddock area. Great place to have a picnic as well. Can be windy as near water so bring wind breaker.

Always a great place for the whānau and tamariki. Also enquired online about booking the felt room or bbq space for a birthday party. Had a kōhanga trip here and it was a great set up for all. If your child or children love the farm as much as my son then this is the place to be. P.S Don't be afraid to ask visitors to pick up their rubbish if you see any littering.

hidden gem in Auckland! The open pastures, friendly farm animals, and stunning coastal views make it a perfect spot for a relaxing day out. The walking trails are easy and scenic, and it’s great for picnics or a quiet escape from the city. Definitely worth a visit!”

Amazing place for a short walk, but enough paths off the beaten track to make it entertaining. Highly recommend strolling off onto the igneous rocks to see some manu, and Auckland’s own #thatwanakatree replica!

Can't believe it took me this long to visit this place! It's very family friendly and there's a lot of open space to walk and run around. If you love farm animals there are sheep, cows, horses, pigs and chickens. There are also quite a few different birds and if you're lucky you might spot some rarer ones. The walkway is paved so no need to worry about mud unless you want to walk on the grass. It's also very flat so it's an easy walk if there are little ones or elderly people. A very pleasant place to bring the family without having to drive an hour. Would definitely return again.
