AMC Mission Valley 20

Great experience at AMC Mission Valley. The theater was clean, seats were comfortable, and the sound and picture quality were excellent. Friendly staff and a convenient location. I’ll definitely be back.

Movie stopped half way through, projector stopped working. They told it would not be fixed. Ruined a great movie. “Full refund” wasn’t even a full refund - only refunded part of it. Only offered a drink coupon, which in reality is sweetened water that is not worth the lost money. Shame on AMC. Awful experience and horrible customer service.

After all these years, this theater is still a great option for movie goers to enjoy their flick. Reasonably priced and easy to get to, I can see why it's been able to stay around for such a long time. It's clean, the staff are friendly and both the picture and sound quality are great. Made it to an invite only event to an early screening of the Smurfs. My kids enjoyed it. I would be back again in a heartbeat.

I always buy my tickets ahead of time. So I'm not having to wait at a kiosk for someone to try to figure out what they're doing. You can sometimes end up late, waiting to use the kiosk. Cause somebody doesn't know how to used technology. So it's best to buy your tickets. Ahead of time also another perk of ordering online or using their app. You can order food ahead of time. So you don't have to wait in line. You can go straight to the pickup for online orders.Get your stuff and skip all the waiting.And be in your seat, when the movie starts!

Not even worth of 1 star, the theater is a total mess, a junk yard you can say. The servers and customer service individuals are good but the system of cancellation and refunds for the ticket is a total disaster, they can not even return a full amount for online tickets because of the convenience fee, look at the picture of the seat where i had to set. I cancelled my ticket and did not even get a full refund, honestly doesn’t even matter !! If you set in a seat like that make sure to take a shower and get your clothes to the laundry!!!

Absolutely old, disgusting seats and old, disgusting bathrooms. It’s 2026. It feels like 2001 in these theaters. For how much they charge for movies, you’d think an occasional deep clean of the theaters wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience. I recommend you don’t go here. All kinds of disgusting stains and bacteria that will just cause you to itch. Deeply disappointed in this AMC location.

This was the worst movie theater I have ever been to. The one thing a movie theaters should have is clean seats. I’m not talking pristine, spotless seats, I’m talking basin, hygienic, clean seats that I should feel comfortable sitting in for an hour or two. That is the most basic ask for a cinema hall, especially charging me $20 for a ticket. The seats were absolutely rancid, and I have plenty of proof (check attached images and videos). I looked at these eats and felt ill. They were disgusting, I couldn’t even tell you the actual color of the seats. I literally had to go all the way to the front corner to find cleaner seats to just even sit down (the theatre was pretty empty so luckily that was even an option) This is unacceptable, and this amc desperately needs to figure out this situation as it’s a basic hygiene case…. Absolutely disgusting, and we need to boycott the theaters for this.

We were visiting San Diego from Utah and wanted to see the new wicked movie. We searched up theaters and we were interested in the laser screens for this theater. Upon seeing the price we assumed the theater would be pretty amazing. In Utah almost all theaters have luxury recliners, great sound systems and quality visuals for cheaper than this theater per ticket. So we assumed it would be great. We got to the theater and already we were a little disappointed at the exterior and concession counters, but stepping into the theater itself was extremely disappointing. The theater smelled like pee, the seats felt like they were 20 years old and extremely uncomfortable. For this price point this theater should have better amenities.
