What a wonderful three days we had. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Lovely pool area to sit and relax in. Gardens were beautiful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very enjoyable. Staff were warm and friendly. Thank you Serena (and husband, apologies for not remembering his name) for your hospitality. We would definitely return. Thank you to everyone for making it a wonderful experience.

Beautiful guesthouse in a period Victorian cottage, walking distance to Tamboerskloof bars, shops etc. but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Stylishly decorated and well appointed, service was fantastic throughout our stay.

We had a really fantastic stay at Ame by Noah, extremely welcoming, full of information and a beautiful room. The hosts made us feel like we were at home. We would recommend and stay again.

Overpriced This place has new owners who are here to monetize the property. It’s very pricey for what you receive. Wi-Fi in the room barely works, there are no basic amenities in the room such as coffee/thee or a working hair dryer. Hot water runs out fast. The place is very noisy in the evening and there is no evening receptions present. Most important, there is no live security present in the property at night, which is a necessity in Cape Town. On the positive side: the living space looks very fancy and well decorated, breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. Everything else was below standard, owners seemed to be a bit toxic and the overall experience was poor.

Our stay was ok but nothing special. Some concerns are: bathroom area had no door to shut that space off from the sleeping area so there definitely was no adequate privacy; no overnight desk clerk; breakfast was average at best and was late one of our days; the area is residential and not easily walkable to any restaurants, etc. nor is it safe to walk once dark falls. The overall feel is not very welcoming.|Grounds are pretty and we understood that a change of ownership is happening so maybe there will be improvements in the future.

I absolutely loved staying here and am devastated to be leaving! The location is residential so very quiet, a quick Uber to anywhere in Cape Town and the local amenities offer great wine, bars, lunch spots & grocery options. The rooms were so beautiful, the decor is so classy, the terraces, pool and communal spaces are peaceful and leafy (they also have a sublime book selection). The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious - those pastries 😍 there’s also a very cute friendly kitten who keeps you company at breakfast 😁 The team here are so welcoming and go above and beyond for you, especially Rachel who was so fun & kind. She felt like a friend or family member when it came to leaving. I would recommend here to anybody!

My wife and I were visiting her parents, who live in the same beautiful Tamboerskloof area of Cape Town. For those who don't know, Tamboerskloof is a wonderful neighborhood with colonial-era buildings and a real sense of community. It is situated up high, overlooking Cape Town. Very nice area - it's quiet but close enough to base ourselves out of! ||||We stayed at Kaap Mooi and were extremely impressed with everything there. Above all, we got a real sense that the staff actually cared. We got to know them all by name, who all seemed very happy in their work and eager to please. I've traveled a fair bit and this is rare! ||||The accommodation itself is excellent. It is newly renovated and it is very apparent it was done to a high standard. The rooms are comfortable and classy without being too ostentatious. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Considering the size of Kaap Mooi, there was a healthy selection of cheeses, fruits, cereals, meats, etc from a buffet. As well as that, they offer to cook you eggs, bacon, and sausages. All good quality stuff!||||Highly recommended!

Me and my partner spent an amazing night at Kaap Mooi in Cape Town.||||From the moment we walked in to this property we were completely blown away. Everything from the decor to the general atmosphere was outstanding. The room we stayed in was amazing. We especially loved the four poster bed, interior design, along with the cosy feel. The bed was extremely comfortable :-).||||We really enjoyed the lounge/breakfast area. It was set up beautifully, and allowed all the guest to interact, whilst still having that sense of privacy. ||||We spent a lot of time using the outside areas. The pool was a great little oasis and allowed us to catch some sun while still maintaining privacy. The seating arrangement outside the lounge area was great for us to hang out in the evening, and allowed us to get to know everyone better. ||||We throughly enjoyed our stay at Kaap Mooi and we would highly recommend this to our family and friends :-).
