I’ve sat through dinners that were designed to be admired instead of enjoyed. Plates built for photos, flavors that never quite arrive. This was not that at all.
This was a room lit by candlelight and confidence, the kind of place where you settle in and immediately know the night is going to be worth it.
The escargot appetizer set the tone, it was rich, delicate, indulgent without trying to overwhelm. Paired with the burrata which is soft, luxurious, the kind of texture that makes you slow down whether you planned to or not.
Then the ravioli special, which off the bat we knew was clearly the right decision. Creamy, earthy, perfectly coated, every bite balanced. Not heavy, not fussy just deeply and unapologetically amazing. The lobster on top felt less like a garnish and more like the main course.
The cocktails were custom made by our server/the owners son, and were actually crafted not from a template, but built around mixology and thought. Warm light catching the glass, conversation lowering between bites, that rare feeling that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.
The service alone is flawless. Effortless, intuitive, generous. The kind that turns a dinner into an entire experience without ever making itself the centre of attention. 100/10 and fully deserved.
By dessert, that perfectly cracked crème brûlée — there was nothing left to analyze. No notes. No critique. Just that satisfied silence that only happens when everything lands. You can tell a good dining experience by the silence in the room.
10/10. Food, drinks, atmosphere. immaculate. A night that understood the assignment.
