This is an exquisite boutique hotel in the midst of a historical venue. Every room is decorated differently and is a joy to see. The bed is comfortable, there is lots of storage, the bathroom has an excellent shower and the sink has a good amount of shelf space. Everything works perfectly. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is well prepared and served in a delightful dining room. We rate this hotel A+

I spent six days at the fabulous Amelia Hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well-preserved. The owner is terrific in his desire to make sure everything is perfect for the guests. The entire staff is to be commended. The gentlemen who looked after the front desk 24/7 were always cheerful, polite, and interested in knowing if everything was okay with my stay. The woman who prepares the breakfast must also be commended for the pleasing presentation, kind heart, and care she gives each guest.

Hotel Amelia feels like stepping back into history. The dining room is carefully restored with beautiful artwork. Each room has its own name and artistic themed decor. The service is excellent. We had very comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts and, best of all after being on the road for a few weeks, an inexpensive (cheap, actually) laundry service. The location in the old town, and walking distance to many sites, is great.

The Amelia hotel was everything I was hoping for - historic, atmospheric, centrally located, comfortable and welcoming. I really loved the smaller family run hotels and guest houses in Central Asia. Felt like I was staying with the family. The breakfast room is beautiful, a great way to start the day. I highly recommend the Amelia.

This is a charming boutique hotel with all rooms decorated differently, including the breakfast room. It is also eco-friendly with water machines where you can fill your water bottles. Best of all, the staff are always smiling and go out of their way to accomodate your needs. I especially appreciate the service provided by Izzat and Ismoil. I would stay here again.

A lovely, quiet hotel in a great location just a five-minute walk from the old city. My stay was made particularly memorable by the kindness of the staff, who went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and helped me with information about all sorts of things I needed help with! The rooms are full of character, and breakfast is served in a wonderful 17th century hall. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent in all ways. Centrally located, beautiful, spacious rooms, amazing newly renovated bathrooms with spacious showers, all in the heart of old Bukhara minutes walk from all you’ll want to see. Bakhodir, the hotelier, is one of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever encountered and helped us find local artisans we would otherwise not have been able to reach. The rest of the staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. Everyone in town seems to know and respect Bakhodir and the hotel. No need to look any further if you’re looking for a hotel in Bukhara. Much better than larger American chains. The amazing breakfasts (included) are served in a 19th century merchants dining room.

Lovely boutique hotel with bespoke themed rooms and excellent service. Close to the centre of Old Bukhara but peaceful and quiet. My room was large, clean and nicely furnished and felt more like a guesthouse than a hotel room. The staff are friendly and considerate. Laundry prices are cheap.
