Perfect hotel in Bukhara.|Location is excellent, within easy walking distance of all the sights and restaurants.|Breakfast was tasty, enormous and more than enough to keep us going all day until dinner. It is served in a very attractive old room with traditional decorations.|Our room (Junior Suite) was spacious with a huge bed and a comfy sofa, as well as a kettle, fridge, bath and double sink. There was plenty of hot water and the WiFi worked well.|Every member of staff we met was polite and helpful. There is a safe in the room but we did not use it as the place feels very secure and the staff honest.|There was a space at the back of the hotel where we were allowed to park our rental car.|On the roof is a lovely, comfortable seating area to relax, have a drink and watch the sun go down.|Over all a lovely small hotel in a fascinating town. Would we return? Absolutely yes!

This was the perfect place to begin our trip to Uzbekistan, Georgia and Armenia. From the time we wrote to the hotel until the day we checked out, Bakhodir took great care of us. He arranged our airport pickup and train station drop off, arranged a fabulous tour for us of the city, and got us tickets to the Folklore Show. He even walked us to the ATM to get some local currency. The room was beautiful; the breakfast room and breakfast were lovely, and we liked the rooftop terrace where we had tea. Highly recommended!

When you have a a great host like Bakhodir the stay is bound to go well. Not only he has a wonderful heritage building but you can tell he knows takes his hospitality very seriously. All with great smiles all around. His employee Raucha is no less friendly and knowledgeable and as if this wasn’t enough they will also cater for your every need (transport, money exchange, history lesson etc). Stay here, you will not regret it.

A mosr excellent boutique family hotel right in the ancient quarter of Bukhara. Lovely for women travellers. We were served tea on the roof top terrace, where we could rest in between our sightseeing and shopping trips. The wifi was very good. The breakfast was a table full of lovely home made pastries, fresh fruit, salad, yogurt, plus coffee and hot breakfast dishes. Much more than we could eat, but so delicious.|When I return I will return to this haven. It is authentic and luxurious

4.7 stars |Hotel pros: Authentic experience. - So Clean! - Very quiet area.- Bakhodir is very hands on! He’ll take care of transportation from train/airport, guides, taxis, etc…- B’fast was amazing (don’t think big buffet with protein/meats/fruits but local foods that are delicious) and Zuli is a wonderful hostess - We had a late train in the afternoon and were allowed to stay later without any fees b/c the room wasn’t reserved for the night! Incredible. - Hot tea/coffee offered any time on request. |Hotel cons: Very LOW water pressure in shower! Difficult to wash soap out of hair. - No water heater in room for personal use. So, if you’re an early riser who likes coffee immediately, this could be a problem. -If mobility is an issue, the room had a lot of places to step over and into big bath/shower area. - A flight of stairs leading to rooms on top floor- A/C turned off during the day. Room was hot when we returned. A/C had to work twice as hard to cool off. -

A beautiful owned and operated family hotel with authentically decorated rooms. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing - and very fulfilling. A lovely covered rooftop open aired was the ideal place to relax after a day exploring the city. Located next to the Jewish quarter and close to all major historic sites.

Stayed for 3 nights in one of the larger rooms - certainly big enough, quirky & comfortable & worth the extra cost. Very friendly staff & a beautiful roof terrace which we made good use of. Free tea & coffee served all day & excellent extensive breakfast in lovely old room. Small hotel (11 rooms) so very personal service & cheap laundry. Situated next door to a good & reasonably priced local restaurant where we ate twice (also has a great roof terrace). Organised our onward transfer to Khiva through the hotel & had a very comfortable vehicle for 4 of us. Location of hotel excellent - just 2 mins walk into the main area of old Bukhara.
